Air Jordan 9 “Chile Red” Revealed: Official Photos & Release Date

One of the more overlooked Jumpman models is the Air Jordan 9. This is a shoe that dropped while Michael Jordan was off playing baseball and because he never actually wore them on the court, they didn’t catch on. Despite this, the sneaker still has a bit of a cult following, and every once in a while, Jordan Brand comes through and drops a new colorway to celebrate the Jordan 9’s history.

The next Air Jordan 9 to get a release will be the “Chile Red” model which can be found below. This is a shoe that takes on some Chicago Bulls aesthetics as the entire upper is covered in red while the outsole and back heel are black. These elements come together to create a shoe that is both flashy and recognizable to longtime sneakerheads. If you’re a fan of the Air Jordan 9, then this is certainly a model worth adding to your collection.

As for the release date, these will be available for purchase as of February 25th of next year, so be on the lookout for these as the date approaches. In the meantime, stay tuned to HNHH as we will be sure to bring you all of the latest updates from the sneaker world.

YK Osiris Confirms His Richard Mille Watch Is Real

YK Osiris has been the target of many of the rap game’s jokes.

The “Worth It” singer was roasted for his jump shot, his failed attempt at the Milk Crate Challenge, and most recently, Drake said he “dogwalked” him in a basketball game and clowned him for getting the signature Certified Lover Boy haircut.

However, there is one thing rappers and the rest of the internet can’t clown him for — his watch.

In a recent Instagram post by DJ Akademiks, it was revealed that multiple fans sent a photo of Osiris’ Richard Mille watch to an IG account dedicated to spotting fake watches called fakewatchbuster. To those fans’ dismay, fakewatchbuster confirmed that the RM 67-02 Alexander Zverev was, in fact, a real Richard Mille.

Unlike when Osiris was dragged for rocking fake Gucci back in January, there are no qualms when it comes to his watch. And according to multiple sources, the specific model Osiris was rocking in the photo sent to fakewatchbuster is valued somewhere between $178,000 and $398,000.

These questions about the legitimacy of YK Osiris’ watch come at the intersection of a huge Richard Mille craze, and more and more reports of rappers getting caught with fake watches. Last week, 21 Savage said he made $350,000 selling a Richard Mille, and Drake flexed a new timepiece he got right around his 35th birthday. Lil Durk, Future and Young Thug all received Richard Milles for their birthdays this year (Future and Thug’s were from Drake), and Jay-Z popped out with a multi-million dollar model from the luxury watch brand.

Unfortunately, while some of hip-hop’s biggest names have received legit watches as gifts, others have not been so lucky. Lil Xan was accused of rocking two fake Richard Milles a couple of weeks ago, and Lil Baby was reportedly ripped off when he bought a fake Patek Philippe.

Even though YK Osiris gets clowned for pretty much everything does, what do you think of his watch being the real deal? Let us know in the comments.

Joe Budden’s Revelation Deemed “Peak 2021” Behaviour By Twitter

Joe Budden’s podcast is not new to making headlines. But, the magnitude of today’s announcement could reach an all-time high.

After Budden came out as bisexual today during an episode of The Joe Budden PodcastTwitter users soon had him skyrocket to the app’s “Trending” section because of it.

The first celebrity to react to Budden’s announcement was rapper Azealia Banks, who has never been fond of Buddem, and claimed she already knew he was bisexual.

Next, several users imagined how Boosie Badazz would react to Budden’s new LGBTQ identification. These responses are in light of Boosie’s recent displeasure with Lil Nas X’s homosexual themes in his music and music videos, and subsequent drama resulting in it.

Users also attributed this news to the overall chaos of 2021, claiming the many unexpected events that have occurred this year may not be able to compare to the shock of this news.

Some also capitalized on the meme from 2020 that poked fun at Budden due to people confusing him with president Joe Biden.

Lastly, more people, similar to Azealia Banks, claimed they knew Budden was bisexual prior to his coming out, and expected this announcement to happen at some point.

It’s fair to say Joe Budden made waves all over social media by sharing his true sexuality.

How did you react to Joe Budden’s announcement?

Kyrie Irving Putting Faith In New York’s New Mayor

Kyrie Irving continues to refuse the vaccine against COVID-19 and due to mandates in the city of New York, he cannot play as a result of his status. This has been a sore spot for the Brooklyn Nets so far this season and no one really knows whether or not Kyrie will be able to come back soon. It’s a bad situation for everyone involved, however, the Nets have remained patient as they know the kind of talent Kyrie provides to the team.

Now, however, a sliver of hope has blessed the Nets and Kyrie. This past week, Eric Adams was elected as the next mayor of New York City, and on January 1st, he will have the ability to reconsider vaccine mandates across the city. In a report from Adrian Wojnarowski, the insider claims that Kyrie is excited about this and believes a change could be coming soon.

“Eric Adams, the Mayor-Elect of New York City, talked today about revisiting possibly January 1 when he takes over, the city’s vaccine mandates for government workers and there’s some hope, some optimism, including, I’m told, around Kyrie Irving, that revisiting may also include performers and athletes including Kyrie Irving.”

It remains to be seen whether or not Adams will actually overturn these policies, however, it could be a light at the end of the tunnel for Kyrie and the Nets. If Adams keeps things the same, then it could be said that Kyrie will not return at all this season.

Gorillaz Announce A 20th Anniversary Edition Of Their Debut Album And It’s Loaded With New Material

20 years ago, the world was introduced to the first ever “virtual band.” It seems like a prescient creation in hindsight, considering how much of music went online in the two decades since. But Gorillaz have leaned very much into the live aspect and while 2-D, Noodle, Murdoc Niccals, and Russel Hobbs are still fixtures, the project is very much about Damon Albarn, Jamie Hewlett, Remi Kabaka Jr, and their incredible cast of collaborators.

Now for the 20th anniversary of the debut album (out December 10th), Gorillaz have announced the Gorillaz (20th Anniversary Super Deluxe Vinyl Boxset) and it’s LOADED. There’s over four hours of new recordings, including demos, b-sides…. errr… “G-sides,” and a Live At The Forum. The 8-disc vinyl set also comes with a 27 page dossier-style art book of Gorillaz ephemera that all feed back into the theme of the outlaw virtual band’s creation in a post-apocalyptic world. Virtual drummer Russel Hobbs added some words on the findings that are all contained within the box set:

“Whistles have been blown. Truths have come to light. What started out as a trip down memory lane took a damn sideways turn into the heart of darkness. They say the past is another country. Turns out, it’s a whole other dimension.”

Along with the album release, comes the Song Machine LIVE concert film. It features concert footage, and also a behind-the-scenes featurette with commentary from Albarn and Hewlett. It’ll be in theaters on December 8th with tickets available next week. There’s also a Christmas themed Gorillaz store that’s open now.

Gorillaz (20th Anniversary Super Deluxe Vinyl Boxset) is out on 12/10 via Warner. Pre-order the first edition here.

Gorillaz is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Rolling Loud Explains Why The Festival’s Organizers Are Backing DaBaby’s Upcoming Tour

Just a few months after he was censured over making questionable comments during a concert in Miami, DaBaby has bounced back, announcing his Live Show Killa Tour hitting 22 major cities over the next three months. The tour is presented by Rolling Loud, the festival where he initially got into trouble and started his comeback by appearing at the festival’s New York iteration this past weekend during his mentor 50 Cent’s headlining set.

According to TMZ, a representative for Rolling Loud says the festival’s organizers believe that DaBaby has learned his lesson and grown as a person. In the aftermath of the initial backlash against him, he was removed from several festivals‘ previously-booked lineups and publicly rebuked by a number of public entities, including his “Levitating” collaborator Dua Lipa, pop icon Elton John, and GLAAD, which issued a statement calling his words “inaccurate, hurtful, and harmful.”

During his Rolling Loud set in July, DaBaby tried to hype up the crowd, but his awkwardly-worded exhortation wound up coming across as homophobic and discriminatory. “If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, any of them deadly sexual transmitted diseases that make you die in two or three weeks, then put your cell phone light in the air,” he said. “Fellas, if you ain’t suck a n****’s dick in the parking lot, put your cell phone light in the air.”

Throughout the wave of criticism elicited by his statements, DaBaby either flat-out refused to apologize or egged on his detractors, although he did meet with a number of HIV/AIDs advocate groups. The incident extended into a bit in Dave Chappelle’s new Netflix special and became a hot topic of debate, but that didn’t stop LGBTQ nonprofit organization Relationship Unleashed from issuing a statement about both that spawned a mini-controversy of its own.

Rihanna Announced An Epic, Catalogue-Spanning Vinyl Collection Dubbed The ‘RIH-ISSUE’

Rihanna fans, rejoice! She’s turned her attention back to music, at least briefly. And well, it might not be new music but at least it’s a start. The pop icon announced a career-spanning, limited-edition vinyl collection today, the ship date for all of the reissues is November 11, so it’s coming up quite soon.

The newly-minted billionaire has been notably more focused on her other business ventures of late, and Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, and Savage Fenty are all part of what has turned her into one of the richest women in the world. But fans of her music are still clamoring for more. And to be fair, it has been a whopping five years since Anti came out — so they’re not even being dramatic.

Anyway, perhaps the chance to own some exclusive Rihanna vinyl and merch will be a balm. According to a press release the collection offers “a special limited-edition packaging of the first eight albums” with “vinyl records [that] have been re-pressed in unique colorways and paired with album-specific, exclusive apparel items. Each set comes carefully enclosed in packaging curated by Rihanna and will be a must-have addition to any record collection.” Here’s the video Rihanna shared on Instagram with more details:

Rihanna Announces Limited Edition Vinyls & Exclusive Merchandise For Her First 8 Albums

It’s no secret that Rihanna fans are desperate for a new album

For years now, the most dedicated member of the “Desperado” singer’s avid fanbase have been begging for the follow up to 2016’s ANTI, but have been met with nothing but radio silence. And in an era when artists are expected to drop once a year, and sometimes more often, Rihanna has chosen to take a more traditional path, leaving a substantial amount of time between projects.

Monica Schipper/Getty Images

Whether that’s because she wants to create a Frank Ocean-like mystique around whatever music she drops next (if she drops more music) or because she’s simply been too busy building Savage x Fenty into a massive brand, and becoming a billionaire in the process, is unknown, but what is known is that we haven’t gotten any new music in half-a-decade.

But for fans of Rihanna’s existing catalogue, today is a day to rejoice.

Taking to Instagram with an exciting announcement, she revealed limited edition vinyl copies of her first eight albums, from Music of the Sun to ANTI will be released along with exclusive merchandise.

According to Complex, the re-issuing of eight Rihanna albums will allow fans to “go back in time and listen to the singer’s most classic tracks in a new way.,” and “each limited edition vinyl will also come with an exclusive t-shirt that connects back to the album.”

While the vinyl albums and exclusive merchandise are currently available for pre-sale on Rihanna’s website, the “Umbrella” singer told her fans they better move quick and grab a record or two before they all sell out.

This announcement comes on the heels of an “Xtra af” post for her new Savage x Fenty collection, and Rihanna taking the cake for best Halloween costume by dressing like Gunna and nailing literally every aspect of the look.

Will you be buying one (or more) of Rihanna’s albums on vinyl? Let us know in the comments.

With the release of her official debut studio album nearing, the 24-year-old rapper is filled to the brim with confidence, and she’s beaming with pride from her meteoric rise in the music business this year.

“No More Parties” was really only the start for Coi Leray, who has followed up her viral success with follow-up hits including “Big Purr” with Pooh Shiesty, “At The Top” with Kodak Black and Mustard, and “TWINNEM,” her most recent single that came attached with a fun dance on TikTok. In addition to her own releases, Coi has lent her vocals to some of rap’s quickest rising superstars, going on a strong feature spree with Sleepy Hallow, Bfb Da Packman, and others. And she just got off tour with Lil Baby and Lil Durk, opening up for them at twenty-three different shows.

HNHH: Hey, Coi. How are you?

Coi Leray: I’m good, how are you?

I’m great. “TWINNEM” is going crazy right now on socials and streaming. How do you feel?

I feel good. It’s a blessing. All my hard work is just paying off. I just got nominated for an AMA award too!

Congrats! It’s such a fun record, what was it like making it in the studio?

I actually played a big part in producing the beat too, so shout out to Bankroll Got It, shout out to Jae Roc, who were all in the studio. We were cooking up the beat. I started recording on a loop, and then we added the beat. We added the drums. I was like, “Yo, we need chords.” [We] added the chords in.

How did you like stepping in on the production side? Did you enjoy that?

I don’t know how to do the buttons, but I know what to listen for, so they guided what I wanted. They still put their input, of course, in the drums and everything ‘cause they’re great, but such a great time.

How’d you come up with the dance for “TWINNEM?”

I didn’t come up with that dance. It was actually trending on TikTok, so I just hopped on the trend.

And now everybody’s doing it. You were just in the studio with Justin Bieber and you had him doing the dance! What was that experience like?

He’s a star. It’s amazing to even be in a room with him, in the studio with him. He believes in me so much. He said he loves my music, and I can’t wait to… wait on it.

Did you guys make any songs together?

Yeah, we made something together.

I’m excited to hear that. You also just got off tour with Lil Baby and Lil Durk. Was that fun?

The experience was crazy. It was 47 days, 23 show dates, and I’m just glad to be able to build our relationship with Live Nation. Shout out to Lil Baby and Lil Durk— crazy, crazy superstars. It’s just a blessing.

Recently, you’ve been teasing a few new records, including one called “Anxiety.” When can we expect a release for that one?

That will be on my project. I will be dropping my project next year. I got so much going on— ‘bout to drop “TWINNEM” with DaBaby for the remix.

Why did you choose DaBaby for the remix?

I feel like he’s super talented. He’s a super talented person when it comes to music, when it comes to his videos. He’s super animated, brings a lot of energy, and I have a lot of energy, so I felt like he’s just perfect for the song automatically.

In previous interviews, you mentioned that you wouldn’t mind making more pop music. Do you have a preference between making pop and hip-hop?

I like what I like. I don’t even know how to answer that, because when I go in the studio, I pull a beat and put it on my mood and I record it based off my experiences. It all depends on what I’m going through. Whatever they label it as— if they think it’s popping, it’s popping.

What can we expect from you before the end of the year?

Like I said, “TWINNEM” remix with DaBaby dropping soon. Get ready for my album dropping next year. Debut album. Can’t wait. Going crazy.

Chris Rock Name-Drops Kyrie Irving In Anti-Vax Joke

Kyrie Irving’s refusal to get vaccinated has caused issues for the Brooklyn Nets since the NBA season started in October.

While in Kyrie’s hometown Brooklyn last night (Nov. 3), Chris Rock slighted Irving for this stance while hosting an NFT event. After hearing cheers when he asked if there were any anti-vaxxers at the venue, Rock responded humorously: “You f**kin’ dumb Kyrie motherf**kers!”

The event Rock was helping to host was Ape Fest hosted by the Bored Ape Yacht Club, a members only event in New York for NFT enthusiasts. The fest hosted marque performers last night at Brooklyn Steel including The Strokes, Quest Love, Beck and headliner Lil Baby.

Rock is not the first celebrity to rip Irving on his anti-vaxx stance. Stars like ShaqHoward Stern and Magic Johnson have publicly criticized Kyrie, while Chris Brown actually praised him for his resilience.

Irving’s decision to refuse a COVID vaccination is so impactful because people employed in New York City are not allowed to work indoors in any capacity without being vaccinated, according to local mandates. This includes athletes, so Irving will be sidelined from playing basketball until he receives a vaccine or the mandate is lifted.

Irving is a key piece to the Brooklyn Nets’ big three including Kevin Durant and James Harden. Without him, their pursuit for a championship is certainly made much more difficult, but he has remained firm in his stance.

While Rock was acting in jest, he still revealed how he feels about Irving and others who have refrained from being vaccinated against COVID-19.

Check out Chris Rock’s Kyrie Irving joke below.
