Vin Diesel Asks Dwayne Johnson To Return To “Fast & Furious”: “Fulfill Your Destiny”

Vin Diesel attempted to end his beef with Dwayne Johnson, Sunday, inviting the actor to return to the Fast and Furious series for the franchise’s upcoming 10th installment.

Diesel addressed Johnson directly with a statement on Instagram:

My little brother Dwayne… the time has come. The world awaits the finale of Fast 10. As you know, my children refer to you as Uncle Dwayne in my house. There is not a holiday that goes by that they and you don’t send well wishes… but the time has come. Legacy awaits. I told you years ago that I was going to fulfill my promise to Pablo. I swore that we would reach and manifest the best Fast in the finale that is 10! I say this out of love… but you must show up, do not leave the franchise idle you have a very important role to play. Hobbs can’t be played by no other. I hope that you rise to the occasion and fulfill your destiny.

Terry Bradshaw Rips Aaron Rodgers Over Vaccine: “You Lied”

NFL legend Terry Bradshaw called out Greenbay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers for not being vaccinated for COVID-19, despite claiming that he was “immunized,” during Fox’s pregame show, Sunday.

“I’ll give Aaron Rodgers some advice. It would have been nice if he had just come to the Naval Academy and learned how to be honest. Learned not to lie,” Bradshaw said on the program. “Because that’s what you did, Aaron. You lied to everyone. I understand ‘immunized,’ What you were doing was taking stuff that would keep you from getting COVID-19. You got COVID-19.

News of Rodgers’ vaccination status became public when the quarterback tested positive for COVID-19, last week.

The public had believed him to be vaccinated because of a statement he made in August claiming to be “immunized.”

“I’m not going to judge those guys [unvaccinated players],” Rodgers added at the time. “There’s guys that have been vaccinated that have contracted COVID, so it’s an interesting issue that I think we’re going to see played out the entire season.”

Rodgers will miss the Packers’ matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs, Sunday afternoon. The team’s 2020 first-round pick, Jordan Love, will start at quarterback in Rodgers’ place.

Ye Dedicates His Latest Sunday Service Concert To The Victims Of The 2021 Astroworld Festival

Despite starting the weekend with controversy, thanks to his interview on Drink Champs, Ye is ending the weekend on a peaceful note. At this weekend’s Sunday Service concert, which was livestreamed on Triller, Revolt, and YouTube, the rapper announced that he was dedicating it to the victims of Travis Scott’s 2021 Astroworld Festival. The announcement was made moments before it kicked off at 4 pm EST and as viewers waited for the livestream to begin, a message read, “Sunday Service dedicated to the loved ones of Astroworld.”

The Sunday Service concert marks Ye’s second such event in as many weekends, having gone more than 18 months without holding one. Last week’s edition featured an appearance from Justin Bieber, Roddy Ricch, and Marilyn Manson, who faces multiple sexual and emotional abuse allegations. There, tracks from Ye’s tenth Donda, including “Come To Life,” “Hurricane,” and “Pure Souls,” were performed, while Bieber and Manson each led prayers during the service.

Ye recently delivered an unfiltered interview on N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN’s podcast Drink Champs. During the sit-down, which was released on Thursday night, Ye said the “worst thing I’ve ever done” was sign Big Sean and he doubled down on his support for Donald Trump. He also accused producer Just Blaze of stealing his production style, a claim that Jay-Z later pushed back on.

Roddy Ricch is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Travis Scott And Astroworld’s Organizers Receive First Lawsuit Over Festival Tragedy

The tragedy that occurred at Travis Scott’s 2021 Astroworld Festival has already received its first lawsuit. According to Billboard. Manuel Souza, who was injured in the deadly incident, filed a petition in Harris County District Court on Saturday. Travis himself and Astroworld Festival organizers ScoreMore and Live Nation are named in the suit concerning the occurrence, which left eight dead and hundreds injured. The suit says the tragedy came as a result of “a motivation for profit at the expense of concertgoers’ health and safety” and the “encouragement of violence.”

“Defendants failed to properly plan and conduct the concert in a safe manner,” Souza’s attorney Steve Kherkher wrote in the lawsuit. “Instead, they consciously ignored the extreme risks of harm to concertgoers, and, in some cases actively encouraged and fomented dangerous behaviors.” Souza claims that Travis and festival organizers ignored early warning signs, like attendees who “breached a security gate around the park, stampeded into the premises, and trampled over one another.” He adds that organizers “made the conscious decision to let the show go on, despite the extreme risk of harm to concertgoers that was escalating by the moment.”

“Eventually, due to defendants’ active decision to let the show go on, the scene devolved into a complete melee, resulting in the needless, untimely death of at least 8 people and injuries to scores of others,” Souza’s attorney wrote.

The lawsuit accuses Travis and organizers of both negligence and gross negligence and seeks at least $1 million in damages. Souza’s attorneys also named Travis’ Cactus Jack Records, LLC, and many other individuals and companies that were involved in the event. A restraining order preventing any destruction of evidence was also filed and it could wind up heading for court as soon as Monday.

Stefflon Don Slams Travis Scott Over Astroworld Tragedy In Since-Deleted Tweet

Stefflon Don criticized Travis Scott for his handling of the 2021 Astroworld Festival, on Twitter, after eight people were killed at the show on Friday night following a crowd surge. Don says she believes Scott continued to perform despite hearing fans’ cries for help as they were crushed amongst the 50,000 concertgoers.

“As an artist, a mother and a human being I am so upset with Travis Scott,” she wrote in a since-deleted tweet. “He saw an ambulance in the crowd while people were screaming for help saying ‘people are dying’ which he clearly heard but still continued to perform. Allot [sic] of kids died because of negligence.”

After being criticized for deleting the post, Don explained that she doesn’t want Scott to get canceled for his actions: “I deleted it because I hate this whole ‘cancel’ thing I do not want no parts of it. I am all for calling someone out and holding them accountable but this new internet wants everyone to just disappear and die after a mistake. It’s 2harsh,and unrealistic. Bring back conversations.”

Scott and his fellow organizers of the Astroworld Festival were hit with their first lawsuit regarding the tragedy, over the weekend.

Kim Kardashian Will Allegedly Attend Paris Hilton’s Wedding Without Pete Davidson

Seeing as Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian have been spending a lot of time together as of late, fans have been wondering if the pair will be stepping out to any public events as a duo in the near future. Earlier this week, Page Six confirmed that the mother of four will not be bringing her rumoured new beau along as her date to Paris Hilton’s upcoming wedding.

The hotel heiress is set to marry Carter Reum this coming Thursday. “[Kardashian] will be there solo,” a source told the outlet, meaning that even her estranged husband, Kanye West won’t be in attendance.

KKW filed for divorce from her rapper husband near the start of 2021, and in the months since they’ve been spotted out and about together on occasion, reportedly working on their relationship. According to the latest headlines, though, there’s no chance of reconciliation for the couple – if Kim has it her way, that is.

When he appeared on Drink Champs, Ye made it abundantly clear that he would be more than happy to get back together with his wife, alleging that he hasn’t even seen divorce papers yet. Days later, we reported that the SKIMS founder has no interest in getting back together with West. The information comes from a close source, who also pointed out that the reality star has tried countless times to make their marriage work before she broke down and filed.

As per Page Six, Hilton’s wedding will be a star-studded, three-day long affair that will take place at her late grandfather’s $65 million Bel-Air estate. Kris Jenner and her boyfriend Corey Gamble are expected to attend, but it remains unclear if any other members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan are on the guest list.
