Logan Paul Reveals Why He’ll Beat Mike Tyson

Recently, a report surfaced that claimed Logan Paul may very well go up against Mike Tyson in a boxing match next year. This glitch in the matrix news was made that much weirder when you realize how Tyson is 55 and Logan is 26. This age gap is truly heinous, it makes no sense for Tyson to step in the ring with a guy who is less than half of his age.

With that being said, Logan seems to be excited about the fight as he told Fight Hub TV that he is easily going to win against the former Heavyweight champion. As Paul reveals, the age factor is ultimately what will allow him to win.

“He’s too old,” Paul said. “He’s aging. Father time takes a toll on everyone. I got the reflexes of a cat. Like a young, quick feline, brother.”

Paul went on to cite his fight against Floyd Mayweather, noting that his ability to survive the fight is a testament to how good he is in the ring. Of course, many fans will roll their eyes at this, however, Logan does not seem to care one bit.

“We saw with Floyd, dude,” Paul said. “There’s no f***ing reason that I should have been able to last — not just last, Floyd’s on my highlight reel dog. There’s no reason that should be possible.”

Let us know who you think would win between Paul and Tyson, in the comments down below.

Kid Cudi Confirmed For “Drink Champs”

Drink Champs has been the most talked-about podcast this weekend, thanks to Kanye West. The latest episode featuring the DONDA artist broke viewership records for REVOLT TV while clips of Kanye getting candid about everyone from Big Sean to Kim Kardashian’s publicist and nannies surfaced across the web.

It’s going to be difficult for those numbers to be followed up in the foreseeable future unless Drake, Jay-Z, or Beyoncé decided it was time to sit down with N.O.R.E and DJ EFN. However, they still have some incredibly compelling guests on the line-up. N.O.R.E. hit Twitter where he announced that Kid Cudi would be joining the Drink Champs co-hosts for an episode soon.

“Kid Cudi story is so rock and roll black hipster iconic think I just got him to agree to do @Drinkchamps as well around Basel!!!” N.O.R.E. tweeted.

It’s a better time than any for Cudi to do an in-depth interview with one of hip-hop’s most revered podcasts. Cudder recently premiered his new Amazon Prime documentary, A Man Named Scotton Friday which includes appearances from ScHoolboy Q, A$AP Rocky and more. Additionally, he’s preparing for the launch of a Netflix series that shares the same name as his forthcoming album, Entergalactic.

Cudi opened up the doors for plenty of artists and his influence is still heard today. Hopefully, that episode with Cudder drops soon.

Rick Ross Bought A $1 Million Atlanta Home Just So He Can Drive By It

With an estimated net worth of $40 million at just 45 years old, there’s no denying that Rick Ross has set himself up for success. The rapper, who is also an author, has had a whirlwind career over the years, cementing himself as the “biggest boss.”

When he appeared on the first episode of REVOLT’s new show Assets Over Liabilities, the “Aston Martin Music” artist was given a chance to flex his mass amount of wealth. “Homes was something I was always fascinated about,” he said. “So me and my homies started coming up to Atlanta. We used to ride by here all the time [we would pull over] and just be like God damn.”

“After I got my deal and my situation, I bought a million-dollar home maybe two minutes from here that I still own that’s right around the corner just so I can ride by it every day while I’m in Atlanta, and that’s what the play was,” he explained to audiences.

As HipHopDX notes, Ross’ Atlanta home isn’t his only noteworthy property. The Mississippi-born recording artist also owns a $3.5 million estate in Florida and a 109-room estate in Georgia that reportedly “blew Diddy’s mind.” Not to mention his collection of over 100 cars that he can now drive seeing as he got his license just a few months ago.

If you’re wondering how it’s possible for someone to have so much money, the 45-year-old advises cutting costs by flying commercial and cutting your own grass, which is what he does. Not only does he make music from rapping and writing, but he also has several Checkers and Wingstop franchises that bring his estimated monthly income up to $585,000.

Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival Attendee Enlists Ben Crump In Lawsuit: Report

The tragedies that occurred on Friday at Astroworld Festival at Houston’s NRG Park are already leading legal action against Travis Scott and Live Nation. According to TMZ, another slew of lawsuits have been filed against the rapper and the entertainment company. One Houston lawyer has filed seven lawsuits on behalf of several clients accusing the rapper of negligence. Another lawsuit was filed on behalf of an attendee by Ben Crump, the lawyer who represented the family of George Floyd. Crump said that he was representing one of the festival’s attendees.

TMZ obtained documents filed by Roberts Markland LLP for the seven lawsuits which they described as identical with the exception of the petitioner’s name. The lawsuits accuse the involved parties of being negligent in providing sufficient security or even laying down a plan that could’ve prevented “several stampedes and a crowd compression” which resulted in eight deaths and countless injuries. Additionally, the lawsuits say Scott and Live Nation didn’t give any warning to fans of the potential dangers and failed to bring an adequate amount of medical staff to care for injuries.

Sean Roberts of Roberts Markland LLP, who filed the lawsuits, described his clients as “seriously and permanently injured.” He’s seeking an unspecified amount of damages for each of his clients.

Last night, one of the first lawsuits reported over the deadly Astroworld Festival was filed against Scott, Drake, and Live Nation. The lawsuit accused both rappers and the entertainment company of inciting “a riot and violence.” Scott’s previous history of chaotic performances was listed in the suit while accusing the Canadian rapper of inciting “the crowd even though he knew of [Scott’s] prior conduct” and “continued to perform on stage while the crowd mayhem continued.”

Travis Scott To Cover Funeral Costs For Astroworld Victims, Partners With Mental Health Orgs

As the dark, horrifying weekend in Houston at Astroworld is now behind us, Travis Scott still has a long road ahead.

The festival claimed eight victims during the catastrophic crowd of Travis’ final set on Friday (Nov. 5), and the repercussions for Scott, Live Nation, the city of Houston, Drake and all involved have begun to mount up. While the families of the victims are the most affected, Travis is now looking for ways to assist in their recovery process.

On Monday (Nov. 8), Travis Scott announced he would cover the funeral costs for all those who lost their lives, as well as provide additional aid for all those Astroworld affected.

Not only is Travis focused on the victims, but he hopes to support the survivors who have been traumatized by the cruel events of that evening. He has partnered with the National Alliance on Mental Illness, as well as Mental Health America to direct attendees to mental health services. He also is offering free one-on-one online therapy sessions through BetterHelp, by using the link offered by his foundation: www.betterhelp.com/cactusjackfoundation.

While this is a positive effort, the backlash and results of the show will cost Travis a great deal of money. Lawsuits from victims’ families have begun to launch, as well as Scott refunding all tickets to the festival goers and cancelling a future festival performance.

Along with Scott, Live Nation, who helped to organize Astroworld, has seen their stock go down and will face lawsuits as well.

Travis has continued to say he is working with the city of Houston, law enforcement and local first responders in the investigation into the tragedies and connecting with families to provide aid.

Playboy Carti Is A Master Of Mind Control

On Saturday night at The Forum, Playboi Carti broke every rule of performing I’ve come to expect from a live rap concert. Carti’s set was more like a DJ set at a rave; instead of witnessing athletic feats of breath control or charismatic interplay between the artist and his fans, we essentially watched a silhouette dancing through the fog, occasionally punctuated by the flamethrowers at the front of the stage

Fans couldn’t even see him for most of the concert. The production must have melted a metric ton of dry ice for smoke effects. He could’ve had a body double for all anyone could tell (a possibility for which there is a non-zero chance, considering his comments about being inspired by MF DOOM, who was known to pull that trick a few times in his day). But If it sounds like I’m down on the performance, I promise it isn’t because I am. If anything, I was impressed. Here was an artist creating atmosphere, wresting full buy-in from his fans by sheer force of will, personality, or mind control.

I can attempt to posit reasons for what I saw as a disproportionate response to the apparent level of effort going into the performance. My first guess is that Carti’s fans, which from my observations mainly seemed to hail from zoomers and the younger end of the millennial spectrum, come from an era where like 75 percent of their lives are lived online. Again, this isn’t a diss; this is a generation that has barely known a world before Netflix, YouTube, UberEats, or the big 3 of social media (Instagram, Twitter, TikTok). Hell, most of them probably never had a Myspace page.

Maybe for them, the appeal isn’t in watching how artists transform their works on stage, it’s just in seeing them in real life. In concert, this person with whom they engage largely as an abstract concept via text, images, short video clips, and an inch square profile picture becomes… well, real. Three dimensional, dynamic, tactile. Perhaps rather than coming to be entertained, they’re coming simply to connect in a world that seems to be constantly so but is really more isolated and individualistic than ever before.

They aren’t just here to watch, they’re here to commune, to participate. And maybe Carti is, too. After all, artists are every bit as subject to the lonely experience of existing in a digital world as anyone — maybe even more so, because of the nature of life spent locked in studios or on the road.

And maybe, because artists like Carti and his peers largely owe their success to the internet rather than the hard-earned grind of growing a fanbase through grueling live performances at tiny venues and developing over time, they’ve never learned to appreciate the technicalities or nuances that prior generations did. I hate to say it, but maybe that’s okay. I once wrote that Carti doesn’t really deserve to be trapped into the box of expectations that the rapper label comes with. Perhaps that includes the ones that say rappers must perform all of their own vocals without support, that they must be experts at talking to the crowd, that everything has to be curated and polished to the point of making it all appear seamless and easy.

On the other hand, maybe Carti really just has mind control over these kids, like the vampires he often references in his public communique. Maybe he just really is tapped into a different wavelength that tickles the basic instinct to wild out and move around and the fact that I remember AOL chat rooms just makes me old as hell. But as he closed out his set to deafening chants of his name, I was struck by a sense that I had just glimpsed the future… If not of hip-hop as an institution then of some as-yet-unnamed wave of pop culture fueled less by virtuoso than vibes.

One thing that was heartening to see: kids having fun safely. In the wake of the Astroworld disaster in Houston the night before, I could sense the tension of concern that this Carti show could get out of hand in the same way. After all, just weeks before, Playboi Carti fans had torn up his venue in Houston when the concert was canceled at the last minute. Yet on Saturday at The Forum, the chaos was controlled and fans’ youthful exuberance was encouraged. It showed that you can still have this kind of show if you maintain a certain level of respect and consideration. By all means, wild out. Just know where the line is, and keep all your toes on one side.

The Narcissist Tour continues Tuesday, November 9 at Gallagher Square in San Diego, CA. You can see the remaining tour dates here.

Cordae Explains Why He Thinks ‘Squid Game’ Is ‘Oversaturated’ On ‘Desus & Mero’

Sunday night, Cordae dropped by Desus & Mero to talk about his new music and his recent physical transformation posts on social media, but because it’s Desus and Mero, the conversation was quickly sidetracked into NSFW discussions about adult film, McDonald’s Filet-O-Fish sandwiches, and of course, the inescapable juggernaut of popularity that is Netflix’s Korean drama Squid Game, which Cordae thinks is “oversaturated.”

“That’s like a head ass, now,” Cordae said of the show when asked whether he’d watched it recently. “N****s overdid Squid Game so much.” While he allowed that “a lot of n****s did some dope sh*t with it,” he adamantly rejected Desus’ suggestion that he make an album based on the show. He did, however, seem interested in a parody of the show mentioned by the host. “I gotta check that, just for curiosity,” he quipped.

On a more serious note, Cordae explained how he lost so much weight in the photos he recently posted. He admitted that “I was just eating terrible. This is my first time getting money like this and we eating steaks, going to Mastro’s every day, getting chefs to pull up.” He says that he was able to shed the extra pounds by “just staying disciplined.”

“SNL” Refutes Kanye West’s Claims That Kim Kardashian Was Forced To Joke About Their Divorce

Many people were unsure how to feel when it was announced that Kim Kardashian would be hosting an episode of Saturday Night Live last month, but the reality star undeniably killed her performance – landing all of her jokes, and even scooping up a rumoured new fling in the process.

Back in February, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star filed for divorce from her husband of seven years, Kanye West. The two have had a rocky relationship over the years, with the constant pressure of being in the spotlight and Ye struggling with mental health issues from time to time. During a recent appearance on the Drink Champs podcast, the “Stronger” rapper made it abundantly clear that he hopes to reconcile with KKW.

“[It’s] no joke to me. My kids want their parents to stay together. I want their parents – I want us to be together,” the father of four told N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN. “SNL making my wife say ‘I divorced him’ on TV because they just wanted to get that bar off, and I have never seen the papers. We’re not even divorced.”

After the interview, a source close to the SKIMS founder shared that she’s “not surprised” by West’s comments, but she has no desire to rekindle their relationship. In fact, a recent TMZ article says that Ye isn’t telling the truth about what happened on SNL. Apparently, his wife’s opening monologue was written ahead of time without help from the show, including the line about their ongoing divorce.

Reports say that the socialite’s speech was largely unchanged from what she arrived with, give or take a few suggestions here and there from cast members. KKW may acknowledge the technicalities currently keeping her marriage together, but she still considers herself a free woman, which is why she’s been spending so much time with SNL actor Pete Davidson lately.

The Chicago native’s claims about not having seen any paperwork have also been debunked – West has even signed off on Kardashian buying their former family home from him for $23 million.

Although headlines say that the producer is “not happy” about Davidson being in the picture, he appears to have a fling of his own going on with a 22-year-old model named Vinetria, who he’s been seen spending plenty of time with.
