2KBABY Taps Chief Keef For “Luigi” Collab

2KBABY has dropped a string of popular singles including “THE 2K STIMULUS,” “Like This,” “Great White,” “Kiki,” and the DDG collab, “Zack & Cody” throughout 2021. Now, the Louisville rapper has returned with “Luigi,” featuring Chicago’s own Chief Keef.

Along with the three minute and 21-second long song, the duo dropped a visual directed by Jay Pusha, which takes place in a hospital after a shooting and sees plenty of Halloween-friendly masks appear throughout.

“Fun fact I always wanted to work with Sosa,” 2KBABY revealed via an Instagram post earlier this week. “When this happened I was beyond grateful. Sosa don’t get on n*ggas songs and he surely don’t do music videos with people like that so to accomplish this is like winning a GRAMMY!!”

“You can’t count me out, you can’t do the math,” Keef raps during his verse, followed 2K sharing lines about his “big bank” and staying strong while smoking at a party before carrying out the rest of the track with strong consistency.

“Remember when I told ya, we never needed no love/None of these n*ggas gon’ show up, but most of them gon’ fold up,” the 21-year-old sings on the chorus.

Stream “Luigi” by 2KBABY featuring Sosa below.

Quotable Lyrics:

Whole world on my shoulder, yeah

Hold on, gettin’ colder and colder and colder

I’m just getting older, uh, yeah, yeah

Shoutout all my soldiers, my soldiers, my soldiers

NBA YoungBoy To Be Released On House Arrest: Report

NBA YoungBoy has one of the most dedicated fanbases in all of hip-hop, and they have been riding for him all throughout his recent stint in jail. YoungBoy has been in prison for about six months now on federal weapons charges, and many have been calling for his release. There have been various petitions to get him freed, and fans are doing everything they can for YoungBoy to get his autonomy back.

With that being said, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that supporters were ecstatic today as DJ Akademiks reported that a judge could allow him to be released from jail on house arrest. The conditions of the release would include YoungBoy staying in Utah, all while having his home surrounded by military guards.

Just moments ago, Akademiks took to Twitter with the news that YoungBoy would, indeed, be released today. His conditional bond release was approved by the judge, and now, he will get to have a bit more freedom than he has been used to over these past few months. While he still has many legal battles ahead of him, this is still a win for him and his fanbase.

Freddie Gibbs Jokingly Clowns Big Sean For Bee-Covered Video: “I Hope Them Bees Sting The F*ck Out Yo A**”

Apparently Big Sean has ascended to a higher plane than most human beings.

After bodying four instrumentals (including Drake’s “All Love” and Kanye West’s “Hurricane”) during his recent LA Leakers freestylethe Detroit rapper popped back up today with a new, Hit-Boy produced single, “What A Life.”

While “What A Life” features two of rap’s heavy hitters getting together for a track, the visuals for the song are garnering more attention than the song itself, and for good reason. For one portion of the “What A Life” video, Big Sean is literally covered in bees. 65,000 bees, to be exact.

Freddie Gibbs, known internet troll, couldn’t let this slide. The Bandana rapper had to let Big Sean know exactly how insane it is to post up in a cloud of bees like it’s nothing.

“N****z get rich and bored and start doing dumb sh*t, D’F*ck @BigSean,” Gibbs tweeted, adding a snapshot of a bee-covered Sean. “This n***a @BigSean think he candyman … Man I gotta get so rich I let bees sting me in the dick.”

Finishing the bee tirade, Gibbs got in one last shot, tweeting “I hope them bees sting the f*ck out yo a**,” directly at Big Sean, the Hall Of Fame rapper had to get take a couple jabs of his own.

“Yes b*tch! I’m rich in a lot of ways tho, you’ll see when you get there!,” Sean responded to Gibbs. “Sike as, u my n***a Love you bro.”

In a hilarious interaction with Big Sean, Gibbs made it abundantly clear how he feels about letting 65,000 bees crawl all over him, and this wasn’t even his first faux Twitter beef of the day. After realizing he was left off Wale’s new album, Folarin II, Gibbs sent a couple shots at the D.C. rapper, prompting Wale to call him a “Twitter honey.”

Gibbs has long been known as one of the funnier rappers in the game and, just one week after telling Dr. Umar he wants all the smoke, it’s no surprise that he couldn’t resist the urge to mix it up with both Big Sean and Wale.

What do you think of Big Sean’s bee-covered music video? Let us know in the comments.

Suns Owner Robert Sarver To Be Accused Of Racism, Sexism & Harassment

Over the last few decades, the Phoenix Suns have had their fair share of issues. Of course, a lot of this was forgotten last summer as the Suns made it all the way to the NBA Finals and were just two wins away from lifting the Larry O’Brien trophy. Recently, however, Suns fans have been a bit disappointed as their owner Robert Sarver has refused to give Deandre Ayton a max contract.

Since buying the team in the mid-2000s, Sarver has received a ton of criticism for not paying players all while neglecting free agents. The Ayton situation has Suns fans experiencing some PTSD, and many are already questioning Sarver’s intentions for the season.

Interestingly enough, Suns fans might not have to deal with Sarver for much longer. According to reporter Jordan Schultz, the league is preparing for an expose on Sarver that will reportedly accuse him of sexism, sexual harassment, and even racism. As Schultz said, the NBA could have the power to force him out of the league if they find significant evidence that he did something wrong.

This news has fans shocked but also intrigued about what is to come here. The piece against Sarver could come at any time, and executives around the league will be looking to see what allegedly took place.

This is a developing story so stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest updates.

Wale Speaks On His Long-Awaited Album, “Folarin II”

It’s been nearly a decade, but Wale has finally come through with the highly anticipated album Folarin II. The 15-track project includes features from J. Cole on “Poke It Out,” Rick Ross on “Light Years,” and Chris Brown on “Angles.”

The 37-year-old also brought Jamie Foxx, Boyz II Men, Sauce of Backyard Band, Lil Chris of T.O.B., Yella Breezy, Maxo Kream, and Ant Clemons on board to assist, while showing off his own lyrical expertise on seven solo tracks.

Recently, the Washington, D.C. born star sat down with Nadeska from Apple Music 1’s Rap Life Radio to discuss the new project. When asked why he felt like now was the right time for Folarin II, Wale responded, “The hunger is there, you know what I’m saying. I mean, and I never wasn’t hungry, but I’m just saying it’s just hitting a little different now.”

He went on, “I’m saying a lot of things with my chest out and I think you can hear in the way that I’m delivering some of the raps, I’m just talking to you. I’m not rapping at nobody, I’m just really talking to you, the listener.”

The “Lotus Flower Bomb” artist also shared his thoughts on his own personal evolution throughout his career, and how it reflected into his work. “You’re going to constantly become a bigger critic of yourself and I think that whole idea manifests itself on this project,” he told Nadeska.

“When I say I’m one of the greatest rappers all the time, I strongly believe that. It might not be a popular take but I strongly believe that,” Wale said, letting his confidence shine. “You got to give yourself them flowers and be man enough and confident enough to give your peers them too when they do well.”

Have you streamed Folarin II yet? What are your initial thoughts on the long-awaited album?

LeBron James Still Wants To Reach This Michael Jordan Milestone

LeBron James has accomplished a lot throughout his NBA career, although there are plenty of accolades that he can still acquire. For instance, James is working towards becoming the highest-scoring player of all time. He is currently third on the all-time list and he is currently chasing the likes of Karl Malone and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

Despite James’ talent, he remains on the lower end of championships won when you compare him to the all-time greats. Players like Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, and Tim Duncan all have five championships, meanwhile, Michael Jordan has a whopping six. LeBron is consistently compared to MJ, and as the Lakers star told ESPN’s Dave McMenamin, he is still chasing six rings.

Per McMenamin:

“James already replaced Michael Jordan as the premier postseason scorer back in 2017 and told ESPN at the start of training camp that adding to his four championships in hopes of getting closer to Jordan’s six remains a deep passion.

“I still have a burning desire inside of me to want to continue to win and hold Larry O’Brien’s Trophy at the end of the season,” James said.”

Time is running thin on winning those rings, although this Lakers roster seems poised to deliver him a fifth title. It remains to be seen whether or not they can get it done, but if there is one thing for certain, LeBron needs to be in win-now mode as he approaches the age of 40.

Fetty Wap’s “The Butterfly Effect” Receives Heavy Praise From Twitter

On Friday, October 22nd, Fetty Wap released The Butterfly Effect, a featureless, 17-track album that’s already being compared to Drake’s Certified Lover Boy and receiving endless praise from people all over the internet.

The 30-year-old has consistently dropped albums over the years, including Coke ZooBruce WayneTrap & B, and You Know The Vibes, but his latest seems to be receiving more hype than the others, and has been said to have a similar vibe to when the New Jersey native was at his “peak” in 2015.

Earlier today, Fetty revealed via his Instagram page that “Yoshi” is his favourite song from The Butterfly Effect, then asked followers to share theirs as well. Ye Ali commented, “nah u touched spiritual levels on that intro,” while PNV Jay agreed that “Yoshi is pressure.”

Twitter has also been abuzz with thoughts and opinions on the “My Way” rapper’s project. While some seemed surprised by how much they were enjoying Fetty Wap’s work, others were quick to praise it, even saying that it “clears CLB in three tracks.”

With the release of his self-titled album back in 2015, Fetty Wap did something really special that few artists are able to achieve in their careers. The “679” hitmaker has been through a lot in the last few years, but perhaps The Butterfly Effect will help him overcome the struggles and move on to bigger and better things.

Have you checked out Fetty’s latest project yet? What are the odds of a comeback? Drop your opinion below.

DJ Snake Sounds The Alarm For ‘SG’ And Ozuna, Megan Thee Stallion, And Blackpink’s Lisa Heed The Call

This year alone, French mega-producer DJ Snake has already released the tracks “Selfish Love” with Selena Gomez and “Run It” with Rick Rosst and Rich Brian off of the Shang-Chi soundtrack. But the world is not enough for the man and his latest drop might be the most worldly yet.

On “SG”, DJ Snake united cross-cultural artists in, the Puerto Rican reggaeton superstar Ozuna, Houston native Megan Thee Stallion, and K-Pop queen Lisa of Blackpink (who’s actually originally from Thailand). Ozuna drives the track vocally with his benevolent life of the party delivery. Meg pops in to slay a verse, as forward as ever, punctuating with, “I gotta get the head before I let you get the tail,” and then Lisa — who just last month released her debut solo album Lalisa — rounds-up the all-star appearances.

The grandiose music video directed by Colin Tilley, who has worked with DJ Snake a number of times, as well as Justin Bieber, Halsey, J Balvin, Post Malone, etc. The visual features the typical Latin trap video trope set in Miami with a luxury yacht, palm trees, fancy pools, and of course, the club.
