Kanye West Serenades Kim Kardashian With “Runaway” At Larry Hoover Benefit Show

Last night’s Free Larry Hoover concert in Los Angeles was one for the books. Thousands of fans poured into the Coliseum on Thursday evening to watch former foes Kanye West and Drake take to the stage to perform a collection of their greatest hits, and even cover some of each other’s titles along the way.

While there’s a lot to be discussed about what went down last night, one moment that stood out in particular comes from Ye’s performance of his My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy hit, “Runaway.” The 44-year-old can be heard making an adjustment to the lyrics, calling out to his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian West, in clips that have been circulating around online.

“I need you to run right back to me, baby, more specifically, Kimberley,” he sings. As reported by PEOPLE, KKW was in the audience last night, along with Kendall and Kris Jenner, and her two eldest children, North and Saint West.

This isn’t the first time that West has publicly campaigned for reconciliation with the reality star, and it likely won’t be the last. Last month, in honour of the holiday, Ye shared a “Thanksgiving Prayer” with his Instagram followers which heard him address his “misactions” and shortcomings in their marriage – particularly his failed Presidential run, his excessive spending of money, and his manic episodes, among other things.

“All I think about every day is how I get my family back together and how I heal the pain that I’ve caused,” the “Flashing Lights” rapper said at the time. “I take accountability for my actions. New word alert: misactions. The one thing that all my successes and failures have in common is me.”

Despite Kardashian’s apparent relationship with Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson, she’s still been supporting her co-parent in his musical endeavours, and also recently attended the final fashion show of the couple’s good friend and Ye’s frequent collaborator, Virgil Abloh alongside him.

Pink Sweats And 6lack Reside On The ‘Midnight River’ For Their Somber Collaboration

Months after dropping his debut album Pink Planet, Philly singer Pink Sweats has been treating his fan base to some new songs in recent weeks. His latest drop is a new collaboration between him and LVRN singer 6lack. The two bring their talents for “Midnight River,” a somber track that both singers spent most of the week teasing for their respective fan bases. Altogether, the new record is an easygoing effort that finds the singers craving a peaceful and serene moment with their respective partners, with the hope that they’re truly in love.

“Midnight Skies” arrives after Pink Sweats dropped a visual for his “Nothing Feels Better.” The video detailed a teenage love affair for the track that’s focused on praising a partner and showing gratitude to them. It came after his heartwarming single “I Feel Good,” which captured Pink Sweats in good spirits and has every right to be. His Pink Planet debut was one of 2021’s best R&B releases and it even appeared on Uproxx’s Best R&B Albums Of 2021 list.

As for 6lack, things have been a bit fairly quiet for the Atlanta singer. His last project was 2020’s 6pc Hot, and since then, he’s stuck to do guest features like Lil Tjay’s “Calling My Phone,” Isaiah Rashad’s “Score,” and Melii’s “You Ain’t Worth It.”

You can press play on Pink Sweats and 6lack’s new collaboration in the video above.

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie Flexes Hard On “Man In The Mirror”

Back in January, A Boogie wit da Hoodie revealed that his highly-anticipated EP A Boogie vs. Artist was nearly finished, and would hit digital streaming platforms soon.

Unfortunately, a ton of relationship drama and an arrest ahead of his scheduled performance at London’s Wireless Festival derailed those plans. A Boogie vs. Artist was shelved for nearly a year, and fans waited patiently to hear A Boogie go head-to-head with his rap alter ego.

Today (December 10), those fans were rewarded with the EP they had waited multiple years for. Dropping A Boogie vs. Artist at midnight, A Boogie blessed fans with seven new tracks, including three from himself, three from his Artist alter ego, and a bonus track with Lil Durk.

“Man In The Mirror,” the first track on A Boogie’s side of the EP, finds the 26-year-old reflecting on his humble beginnings, and the lavish lifestyle he lives now. Rapping directly to a former lover, the “Drowning” rapper cuts deep with insane flexes and assurances that, although he once would have done anything for his partner, that loyalty is long gone.

Quotable Lyrics
Yeah, stackin’ up money like Jenga and Legos
I sing but I came with a Glock and a Draco
Back of the crib, look like mini Barbados
Losin’ my friends everyday, I’m okay though

Juice WRLD Kicks Off New Album With Metro Boomin-Produced “Burn”

The haunted soul of the late Juice WRLD is on full display all over his second posthumous studio album, titled Fighting Demons, which was released on Friday (December 10). Though it’s still early, some fans are already praising this album and saying that it’s slightly better than the first posthumous album in Juice WRLD’s discography, Legends Never Die. While that’s subjective, time will tell where this project stands in the ranking of the greatest bodies of work from the departed Chicago spitter.

His new album starts off with “Burn,” a song produced by Metro Boomin, in which Juice discusses his battle with substance abuse, being “cursed since birth,” and his journey to find truth in his life. There are plenty of highlights on the album, but this is definitely one of them.

The release of Fighting Demons comes following a celebration of the rapper’s life at United Center in Chicago, which featured performances from some of the artist’s best friends in the music industry. It arrives almost exactly two years following his death.

Listen to “Burn” below and check out the full album here.

Quotable Lyrics:

Gotta put the narcotics down, I can feel ’em fucking up my kidney
And punching my liver

If I let it kill me, my mama’ll never forgive me
Ain’t numbing my feelings, if I let it kill ’em, my baby will never forgive me

This remind me of hell, sometimes I wonder if that’s where God really sent me

Rick Ross Taps Benny The Butcher For Luxurious “Rapper Estates”

After MMG head honcho Rick Ross made an appearance on Benny the Butcher’s “Where Would I Go” back in 2020, fans have clamored for another collaboration between the two rap mafiosos.

Today (December 10), those hopes and dreams for an additional Miami/Buffalo crossover came to fruition.

Releasing his new album, Richer Than I’ve Ever Been, to the masses at midnight, Ross made his return to wax and brought Benny with him.

Sliding through with a hard-hitting feature on “Rapper Estates,” the Griselda strongman plays Robin to Ross’ Batman and the pair skates over a luxurious Vinylz/Boi-1da beat like only two bonafide legends could. Trading verses about the journey to the top of the rap game and the lucrative spoils that sit at the summit, Ross and Benny compliment each other perfectly and make “Rapper Estates” the highlight of Rozay’s latest full-length effort.

Quotable Lyrics
No handouts, I’m goin’ on three summers legit
Machine, Cutter, and West, and me, each one of us rich
Before I did it, they ain’t know these numbers exist
A n***a left the plug, then blew up three hundred to six

Just a few days ago, Wiz shared on social media that “all [his] verses from this year are hard af,” also adding, “some of em ain’t gon come out till next year but I really supplied some gas.” If 2021 has been this good, we can only imagine what our favourite “rich ass stoner” has in store for 2022.

Kyle Celebrates Having The ‘Perfect’ Person In His Life On His Spirited New Track

Less than two years after he released his fourth project See You When I Am Famous!!!!!!!!!!!!, Kyle is gearing up to share his latest body of work with the world. Last weekend he announced It’s Not So Bad will arrive on January 28, but the upcoming project won’t be your typical musical release. “Instead of splitting the royalties with the label, I’ll be selling this project as an NFT to give an opportunity for my fans to own this project with me,” Kyle revealed in his announcement. “We’re in this together. Forever & Ever.” Now, we’ve received the latest single from the upcoming project.

Kyle returns with “Perfect,” and just like much of his discography, the new track is a light-hearted upbeat release that finds him celebrating the arrival of an ideal companion in his life. “Perfect” also arrives after Kyle announced his I Miss U Tour for 2022.
