FKA Twigs And The Weeknd Are Gearing Up To Release Their Upcoming Song, ‘Tears In The Club’

FKA Twigs has been hard at work on her upcoming third album, which remains untitled at the moment. Back in September, during a conversation with fans on Discord, she teased a “capri season take over,” and assuming that she means Capricorn season, it suggests that something special could arrive between December 22, 2021 and January 19, 2022. As it happens, Twigs recently announced a new collaboration that is set to arrive at the end of the week, namely the song “Tears In The Club,” which pairs her with The Weeknd.

“Are u ready for capri sun takeover??” Twigs wrote in a tweet. “Us capri babies be so cute and prolific but don’t cross us cause we never ever forget.” The announcement falls in line with her earlier comments on Discord. During that conversation, she also revealed what listeners can expect with her next body of work.

“It’s really deep emotional and honest but hopefully more golden tears than blue i channelled my melancholy differently this time and it was so amazing,” Twigs said. “I made my next project thinking about all of u and my friends it’s for getting ready and going out to and being with people who make u feel good, turnt litty bronzer in the sink shimmer on the bathroom floor.” She also said that the project will feature work from Koreless, El Guincho, Cirkut, Mike Dean, Arca, and “lots beautiful others to be revealed soon and some stun and special collabs.”

“Tears in the Club” will be released on December 16 at 7pm EST.

Wack 100 Wants Charleston White Canceled: “He Is An Active Rapist”

It was all out mayhem on Clubhouse once again and it came courtesy of confessions of sexual assault. Clubhouse has been an app that thrived under quarantine but has struggled to match the popularity of other apps now that life is easing into its new normal. However, spicy chatrooms have caused an influx of Clubhouse moments including commentary from NBA YoungBoy, Joyner Lucas and Karen Civil going at it, and now, Charleston White admitting that to raping women when he was younger.

White has candidly spoken about his past, namely serving six years in jail for murder when he was 14, but in a Clubhouse chat with several others, he went off about sexually assaulting women. The confession didn’t sit well with Wack 100.

“You goddamn right we grew up raping white hoes, n*gga!” he is heard saying in the clip. “Running trains on them white b*tches. We grew up raping white b*tches in the South, n*gga. And they my Facebook friends, right now, today.” Wack uploaded the snippet to his Instagram with a lengthy caption where he’s calling for White to be canceled.

“I HAVE 1,000 for this man’s work location. WE NEED TO ALERT THEM THAT HE IS A ACTIVE RAPIST,” wrote Wack. “Now Anybody and I mean anybody that supports this man @charleston.trolls on any level is totally against OUR WOMEN. We promote all kinds sh*t but this man needs to be CANCELLED . His voice needs to be pulled down off all platforms. HE IS PROMOTING THE RAPING OF WHITE WOMEN. HE NEEDS TO KNOW THAT ALL LIVES MATTER.”

White had previously come forward to say he does not support the Black Lives Matter movement. Wack also tagged the likes of President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, TMZ, YouTube, Akademiks, No Jumper, and others. Check it out below.

Tevin Campbell Challenge Elicits Responses From Lil Mama, Joyner Lucas, Slim Thug & More

We’re not sure if you’ve been keeping up with the latest challenge taking over social media, but this time, you can thank Tank for launching the viral moment. The R&B veteran decided to take a chance and spark a challenge that focuses strictly on those buttery vocals as Tank wants singers to give their best renditions of Tevin Campbell’s romance classic, “Can We Talk.”

The 1993 hit was produced by Babyface and remains an R&B favorite, and thanks to Tank, we’re seeing actors, rappers, and singers belt out the unforgettable chorus.

“This is one of those R&B anthems. If you can’t sing this full chest, no microphone, no reverb, no autotune, no nothing, you’re not a real R&B singer,” said Tank, before he gave his take on the track. Soon, dozens of offerings began surfacing online. Lil Mama proved that her kills go beyond just penning bars and sang effortlessly. Even Black-ish star Anthony Anderson lent his voice and received applause from fans.

Jhonni Blaze also showed off her talents and we’re pretty sure Joyner Lucas’s addition counts as cheating. However, if there was one that stole the show, it would be Slim Thug. 21 Savage has 24 hours to respond. Check out a few highlights from this challenge below.

Kim Kardashian Reportedly Claims She Has ‘No Desire To Reconcile’ With Ye After Their Divorce

Ye has been trying his best to win back his ex-wife Kim Kardashian after she filed for divorce back in February. His latest efforts occurred during the Larry Hoover benefit concert, which he held with Drake. He added new lyrics to his 2011 track “Runaway,” rapping, “I need you to run right back, baby, more specifically, Kimberly.” Unfortunately for Ye, such efforts don’t appear to be working, as Kardashian recently filed to be legally single, according to documents obtained by Rolling Stone.

The filing also reveals how Kardashian perceived the end of their relationship. “There is no question that the marriage of the parties is no longer viable,” the documents read. “Petitioner has no desire to reconcile with Respondent and wants their marriage terminated. Irreconcilable differences have led to the irremediable breakdown of the marriage, and there is no possibility of saving the marriage through counseling or other means.”

It continues, “There will be no prejudice to Respondent if our marriage is immediately dissolved, especially given the fact that throughout our marriage, we adhered to the terms of our premarital agreement and maintained the separate property character of our assets.”

The new filing comes after Kardashian credited Ye with helping her interest in fashion during a speech she gave when she won the Fashion Icon Award at the 2021 People’s Choice Awards.

Tiffany Haddish Links With Common Lookalike In Colombia: “He Is Sweet”

Fans may have been rooting for Common and Tiffany Haddish to have a long-standing romance, but alas, they have decided to call it quits. The rapper and comedian went public with their relationship a little over a year ago, but the two have known one another for much longer. Last week, Common caught up with Hollywood Unlocked and detailed what led to the split, and it seemed that both he and Haddish have been hyperfocused on their careers.

“It really didn’t allow for us to spend as much time and put as much energy into our relationship. I don’t think the love really dispersed,” Common explained. “We weren’t feeding the relationship… Neither one of us is gonna stop. We both care about our crafts and what we do.”

Meanwhile, Haddish has been relatively hush-hush about the breakup, but she surfaced online in a selfie with a man with a message attached.

“Does anyone know who this guy is? I met him in Columbia and I can’t remember his name. He just looks so common,” she wrote. The play on words wasn’t lost on Hollywood Unlocked founder Jason Lee, who is also Haddish’s good friend. In the comments, he wrote, “I’m not dealing with you today @tiffanyhaddish [crying laughing emojis].”

Haddish made sure to issue a reply with an update on her search.

“Look Three shoots of Vodka and a dark night club in Colombia,” she said. “You would think it’s him too. But I found him now thanks you y’all. I talked to him today he is sweet and got some time hangout. Funny how that works.” It looks as if Haddish isn’t having any trouble moving on. Check it out below.

Young Dolph Memphis Memorial Sells Out In 90 Minutes: Report

Several Paper Route Empire artists took to the Rolling Loud L.A. stage to pay tribute to Young Dolph. It is still unbelievable that the 36-year-old rapper is no longer with us, but the industry and beyond are making sure that his legacy lives on. Many of Dolph’s charitable efforts have continued thanks to his team, and when it was announced that a public memorial would be held in Memphis, fans were excited to attend the event.

Dolph sadly was gunned down by unknown assailants who rushed him while he was reportedly purchasing baked goods for his mother in his hometown. The investigation is ongoing, but there haven’t been updates since the rapper’s November 17 slaying.

42 Dugg Apologizes For Pulling Out Of Rolling Loud L.A., Appears At Lil Baby’s Show

Another weekend of Rolling Loud is behind us now that the Los Angeles edition of the festival has come to an end. Dozens of our favorite Hip Hop artists took to several stages over three days to dish out their greatest hits while rising names in the genre were happy to land a coveted spot in the show. It’s a festival that makes for iconic moments like Kanye West’s surprise appearance with Future, Yung Bleu joining Chris Brown, and Bas turning up with J. Cole.

It is rare that an artist has to back out of the show or misses their appearance, but such was the case for 42 Dugg who reportedly chose to attend Lil Baby’s Birthday Bash in Atlanta instead of making his way to the City of Angels.

On Twitter, Dugg offered up an apology and an enigmatic explanation as to why he missed the performance.

“I wanna apologize to all my fans in la who came to see me today but for reasons out of my control and rolling louds but I will not be performing today,” he said before adding, “Ima take this time to reflect on my bad decision making and hopefully I’ll see y’all soon.” Disappointed West Coast fans stormed timelines demanding a better excuse, but that seems to be all they could get for now.

Some have speculated it may have to do with legal issues, but that has not been substantiated. Check out 42 Dugg’s tweet below.

Idles Release The ‘When The Lights Come On’ Video In Nightvision

Bristol-based post-punk band Idles released Crawler, their fourth album, last month and it has kept them at the top of the ranks of the UK punk scene’s resurgence. Co-produced by Idles guitarist Mark Bowen and the typically hip-hop focused Kenny Beats, the album is furious, filled with caustic music that wants to pierce your chest plate and punch you in the heart. Breakneck bass and drums pair with singer Joe Talbot’s metaphysical lyrics. Uproxx’s Steven Hyden sums it up by writing that “This kind of music is so heightened that is bound to elicit equally charged reactions. Some will hear it as rousing and even potentially life-changing music; others will find it strident to the point of irritation.”

It’s not always easy to listen to, but it’s pure and is clearly a vessel for seeking greater truths about ourselves. Enter the video for “When The Lights Come on,” filmed in nightvision and sending up suburbia. Talbot calls the song a “poem of light and sound exploring the cold light of day.”

Idles are playing New Year’s Eve with The Strokes in Brooklyn and then are going off on a headlining tour through Europe, South America, and a range of music festivals from there. See full dates and get tickets here.

Crawler is out now via Partisan Records. You can watch the video above.
