Elon Musk Shades Jeff Bezos, Says He Needs To “Work Harder & Spend Less Time In The Hot Tub”

Elon Musk had plenty to say about his billionaire friend Jeff Bezos while accepting his Person of the Year award from Time Magazine earlier this week. The SpaceX founder didn’t hold back when he took the stage, informing audiences that the Amazon head “does not seem to be willing to spend mental energy getting into the details of engineering.”

“The devil’s in the details,” Musk continued at the celebration ceremony. The South African-born richest man on Earth didn’t deny Bezos’ “reasonably good engineering aptitude,” although he does feel that the 57-year-old “does take himself a bit too seriously.”

“In some ways, I’m trying to goad him into spending more time at Blue Origin so they make more progress. As a friend of mine says, he should spend more time at Blue Origin and less time in the hot tub,” the father of seven brazenly said.

While the entrepreneur from New Mexico supposedly sits around and relaxes, Musk says that he “works for seven days and 80 to 90 hours each week overseeing projects at both Tesla and SpaceX.” At the beginning of 2021, it was reported that the 50-year-old had overtaken Bezos’ spot for biggest bank account; their net worths are currently an estimated $252 billion and $195 billion, respectively.

As the New York Post reports, Musk (a regular Twitter troll) has been known to tease his rival about their wealth gap. Back in October, he responded to one of Bezos’ posts with a silver medal emoji, seemingly referencing their financial rankings.

Billie Eilish x Nike Air Force 1 Surfaces Online: First Look

Billie Eilish is one of the biggest popstars in the entire world right now, and there is no doubt that she has an influence on the youth. Over the course of the last year, she has worked with Jordan Brand on the Air Jordan 1 KO and the Air Jordan 15, with both of her collabs becoming huge hits.

Fans have been wondering if she would do anything else with Nike, and as it turns out, there are, indeed, more shoes on the horizon. For instance, the Instagram account @iamricosuav recently posted some images of a Nike Air Force 1 Mid, which is reportedly confirmed to be Eilish’s next shoe.

As you can see in the images below, the shoe mostly has a brownish-beige upper to it, all while velcro straps are placed up and down the entire upper. It is certainly an interesting look although given Eilish’s eclectic taste, this should come as absolutely no surprise. Velcro straps have always been popular, and when paired with the Air Force 1 Mid, it makes for a very unique look that fits Billie’s personality.

There is no release information surrounding this shoe, so stay tuned to HNHH as we will be sure to bring you all of the latest updates from the sneaker world. As always, let us know what you think of the sneaker, in the comments below.

Boosie Shamelessly Lusts After Saweetie & Yung Miami’s Twerking Skills

It appears that Boosie Badazz fell into a thirst trap – or two – early this morning. Around 7:30 AM MST he couldn’t help but very publicly inquire about Saweetie’s ass; more specifically, whether it’s real or not.

“IS @Saweeit ASS REAL?” the 39-year-old asked of the Icy Girl. “CAUSE THAT MF BE MOVING LIKE AINT NO BBL BEEN DONE BACK THERE. I GOTTA KEEP IT A [100 emoji] THAT SHIT BE GOING CRAZY BACK THERE.”

This post isn’t exactly surprising to anyone who’s seen Saweetie – the 28-year-old has a perfectly sculpted body, and she’s not afraid to show it off, whether that be while walking the carpet at the Met Gala, or tearing up the stage with a booty-shaking performance to one of her upbeat bad-bitch hits.

Boosie also gave City Girls recording artist Yung Miami her flowers for her curvaceous figure and unmissable dance moves, writing, “N @YungMiami305 YALL KILLING THE TWERKING GAME.” At the time of publication, the tweet has earned the controversial rapper over 2,200 likes, and hundreds of replies – many of which come from concerned fans.

“It ain’t even 10 AM my man. It’s too early for this,” one user wrote. “He legit just shooting his shot but come on mane [you] can have more finesse than that gangsta,” another person chimed in.

Boosie Badazz isn’t the only star to thirst after Saweetie on Twitter lately – father of seven, Nick Cannon didn’t hesitate to slide in and shoot his shot when the “Best Friend” hitmaker said that she was suffering from a bout of baby fever – check out our story on that here.

Nick Cannon On His Decision To Forgo Chemo For Baby Zen: “I Didn’t Want Him To Suffer”

It’s been a hard few days for Nick Cannon. The 41-year-old is currently enduring a suffering like no other – the pain of losing his youngest son with Alyssa Scott, Zen, who lived to be five months old.

The San Diego-born star chatted with PEOPLE about how he’s been coping with the tragedy, as well as why he and Scott made the decision to forgo chemotherapy for the duration of their baby’s short life. “We started asking, ‘Is there a way to prevent this? If not, how long do we have?’” he recalled.

“The conversations quickly turned to, ‘How can we give him the best life for the time that he does have?’ It could be weeks, it could be months, it could be years.” Seeing as Canon had previously undergone chemotherapy to help treat his autoimmune condition, lupus, he knew first-hand how hard it would be on his infant child.

“We could have had that existence where he would’ve had to live in the hospital, hooked up to machines, for the rest of the time. From someone who’s had to deal with chemotherapy before, I know that pain. To see that happen to a 2-month-old, I didn’t want that. I didn’t want him to suffer,” the Monster House voice actor explained.

Scott and Cannon first picked up on an issue with their son days after his birth, noting his “super calm” behaviour and an off-sounding breathing pattern. “It sounded like he had fluid in his lungs, like a sinus infection or something,” he told PEOPLE. “[The doctors] didn’t think it to be anything too concerning.” Just a few weeks later, doctors noted that Zen’s head seemed to be growing faster than normal.

Following his diagnosis, Zen’s parents were determined to “create moments of joy every day” for their baby. “We focused on Disneyland, our favorite place,” the father of seven shared. “Every month we would celebrate his birthday, just really seeing it as a victory every time he had a milestone that he was still here with us.”

Cannon admitted that he could feel his youngest child’s struggles. “He was gasping for air. We’d wake up, and he wouldn’t be breathing for maybe five to 10 seconds at a time, and then he’d let out a huge gasp. You could see it frightened him. It was the scariest thing I’ve ever experienced,” the entertainer confessed.

Following his loss, America’s Got Talent host got some ink dedicated to baby Zen – read more about that here.

Jussie Smollett’s Only Black Juror: “As An African American Person, I’m Not Putting That Noose Back On”

63-year-old Bellwood resident and retired cook, Andre Hope was the only Black jury member selected to partake in the trial of former Empire star Jussie Smollett. In a recent interview, he opened up about his thoughts on the case. “2 o’clock in the morning, cold outside… When you just use your common sense as what’s there, yeah, it didn’t add up,” he told a reporter following the guilty verdict announcement.

When the controversial topic of the noose – allegedly placed around Smollett’s neck by the Osundairo brothers – came up, Hope shared that it was “a critical piece of evidence.” He added, “As an African American person, I’m not putting that noose back on AT ALL,” with great emphasis.

The jury never argued, or became stuck in a deadlock, the interviewee shared, not failing to mention that they “took [their] time to be thorough during the nine-and-a-half hour deliberations.” Hope commended his fellow jurors for their work, but admitted that he felt disappointed in having been the only Black person selected.

USAToday reports that other Black Americans felt uncomfortable and confused by Smollett’s decision to place the noose back on his neck upon removing home for authorities to see after having already removed it. “I was concerned because I don’t think there’s many Black people in America with a noose around their neck and wouldn’t immediately take it off,” Chicago police superintendent Eddie Johnson said following the disgraced actor’s guilty verdict.

After all the proceedings, Hope admit’s that he still doesn’t understand Smollett’s motive. “I still have not figured out a motive for why he did, why this had to even happen. He was a star.”

The B-Boy Blues director is set to return to court in the new year for sentencing. Experts have already predicted that he will be placed on probation and ordered to perform community service in wake of his crimes. Hope says that’s fine by him – he doesn’t think Smollett deserves to go to prison, and he hopes the star will have a successful return to his career.

NBA Hit With Its First Case Of The COVID-19 Omicron Variant

Many scientists around the world have been scrambling to find out as much as possible about the Omicron variant of COVID-19. This new variant popped up in South Africa about a month ago, and since that time, it has spread across the entire world. It is believed that 3 percent of all United States COVID cases are from the Omicron variant, and many are worried that it could be extremely transmissible throughout the Winter months.

This is especially important for the NBA, who is experiencing a massive COVID outbreak right now. Some big names currently have the virus, and according to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the NBA got hit with its first confirmed case of Omicron today. The NBA has not revealed who the player is, however, there is now a push to reconsider the league’s COVID protocols, moving forward.

Teams like the Chicago Bulls have had games postponed as a result of these outbreaks, and at this point, the Nets could be at risk of this fate as well. The NBA is desperately trying to reel things in, and if they can’t get it done, than a shutdown could be on the horizon.

This remains a developing story, so stay tuned to HotNewHipHop as we will be sure to bring you all of the latest updates from the basketball world.
