Fetty Wap’s Baby Mama Calls Him Out For Being An Absent Father In Shady TikTok

Lezhae Zeona, the mother of two of Fetty Wap’s children, has seemingly called the rapper out for being an absent father on TikTok. While participating in an ongoing trend on the app, she threw some major shade his way.

The video sees users first show off a picture of their baby’s father, then themselves, then finally, their children, likely so viewers can determine who’s genes came through more obviously, but instead of using a photo of Fetty, Lezhae inserted an image of a ghost, implying that the 30-year-old hasn’t shown up for their family the way she’s expected him to.

“Fetty Wap and his BM Zhae are not seeing eye to eye,” @theneighborhoodtalk wrote on their Instagram post, showcasing all the drama. “She threw him a lil shade on TikTok.”

In the past, Lezhae has publicly spoken out about her baby daddy’s behaviour, even calling him a “f*cking failure” and a “clown” back in March of 2020. “Don’t have children with f*ckin failures,” she wrote on her story at the time. “Bitcchhh… I almost told y’all something whew let me get off this damn app.”

She later continued with, “Ya wanna know something? God genuinely makes no mistakes. Call me whatever you wanna call me for going back and having a second child with this clown but guess what? I needed my son! I swear I was never forced into strength the way I was while I was pregnant with him! Before my pregnancy with my son, I was maddddllyyyy in love with my BD. He would do any and everything to me, disrespect tf outta me in public and in private and I never got enough.”

It seems that the exes, who welcomed their first child together in 2015, and second in 2018, have yet to patch up their differences; read more about their 2020 drama here.

Fans Are Shocked To Learn Napster Is Still Around After T-Pain Shares A Dubious List Of Streaming Payouts

Seemingly every couple of months, Twitter lights up with (very important) conversations about how little artists actually get paid every time their song gets streamed. It varies between streaming services, but according to the RIAA’s 2020 report, Spotify averages $.00437 per stream while Apple Music averages about $.00783. However, the company that pays artists the most per stream is pretty surprising, seeing how it’s oftentimes credited for nearly killing the music industry: Napster.

Thanks to a recent tweet by T-Pain, fans were shocked to learn that Napster still actually exists seeing as the company filed for bankruptcy in 2002 after losing a wave of copyright infringement lawsuits. T-Pain shared a screenshot of a dubious chart originally posted to Reddit which claims how many times a song has to be streamed on a given platform in order for the musician to make $1. T-Pain’s chart shows an artist’s song on Napster has to be streamed 53 times in order to make $1, which is actually accurate per the RIAA’s 2020 report, compared to 315 streams on Spotify (although RIAA’s numbers show it’s more like 229 times).

While it’s fairly well-known that Spotify is one of the biggest streaming platforms with one of the worst artist payouts, fans on Twitter were even more surprised that Napster is still around. T-Pain’s tweet instantly made Napster trend on Twitter, with many people reacting to the news that Napster essentially went from “villain” to the “hero” of streaming.

Others were simply reminiscing on the times they stayed up all night downloading a few songs on Napster.

Future Is The First Musician To Reach 10 Million SoundCloud Followers

In the debate sparked over a potential Verzuz with Jay-Z, Future agreed with many of his listeners in Atlanta that he could successfully take on Hov in a battle of their hit songs. While that may or may not be true, Future definitely has the fanbase numbers behind his claims — but that’s probably because he’s much more active on social media than Jay-Z. Not only does the rapper boast over 18 million followers on Instagram (while Jay-Z recently deleted his own account), he’s just become the first artist to reach 10 million followers on SoundCloud.

Future’s SoundCloud page just hit the major follower milestone, which is very impressive seeing as the rapper hasn’t dropped a project since his 2020 Lil Uzi Vert collaborative album Pluto x Baby Pluto. While Future may have just reached 10 million followers on the music streaming service, the rapper has actually been one of SoundCloud’s top-followed artists for a while. Big Sean follows closely behind Future’s numbers with 9.5 million followers.

Future saw the news of his SoundCloud milestone on Instagram and re-shared his achievement while adding a few emojis for good measure.

SoundCloud isn’t the only streaming service the rapper has dominated on. On Spotify, Future has racked up just over 10 million followers — 10.9 million to be exact — and boasts over 31.7 monthly listeners on the platform.

De La Soul Still Struggling With Album Clearance After “Spider-Man” Soundtrack Placement

Hip-hop pioneers De La Soul have struggled for years to get their music on DSPs and now that they have landed a spot on the biggest movie of the year’s soundtrack, fans are in an uproar that the trio’s catalog is still unavailable for streaming. Their song “Magic Number” from the album 3 Feet High and Rising album appears during the end credits of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Of course, fans rushed over to Apple Music, Spotify, and Tidal to stream the record but were surprised to see that the only De La Soul albums available for streaming are The Grind Date and The Anonymous Nobody.

De La Soul has put out timeless hits but most fan favorites are on their 3 Feet High and Rising album. The album came out early in their career under Tommy Boy Entertainment but due to an extensive amount of sampling, the album is unavailable for streaming. Over the course of six projects under Tommy Boy, the group used hundreds of samples – 3 Feet High and Rising contains 60 samples. Though Tommy Boy was able to clear a significant amount of samples from the album, the clearances were only useful for physical copies of the project. Streaming the album would bring the potential for a wave of lawsuits.

While the trio has offered to do the clearances themselves with the help of volunteers, they have received nothing but pushback from Tommy Boy. Earlier this year, De La Soul reclaimed their masters after Reservoir Media bought out Tommy Boy for $100M, but the age of the tracks and copyrights could add on years to getting those samples cleared.

While they were able to get clearance for “Magic Number”, inspired by Bob Dorough’s “Three Is a Magic Number”, there is still a lot of work to be done before fans can enjoy 3 Feet High and Rising

Cardi B Throwback Stripper Photos Go Viral On Twitter

Before she became a world-famous superstar rapper, Bronx-raised artist Cardi B was dancing at exotic clubs in New York and prepping for a career in reality television as part of the cast of Love & Hip Hop. There have been many stories told about her days as a dancer and sometimes, fans of the rapper share old photos of her from that era on social media. This week, Cardi posted her own throwback from 2014, throwing it back in the photo with a carpet of dollar bills on the floor. Her post sparked a new trend on Twitter, with fans sharing a similar picture and using it as a meme to describe how rich they would be if defending their favorite artist was a full-time job.

Over the years, many music fans have had to defend their favorites on occasion after they dropped a subpar song or did something questionable in public. With cancel culture still going strong, this has been a little more frequent in recent years. After Cardi posted her throwback stripper photo, it went viral with fans using it and adding captions, reading, “Me if defending [insert artist’s name] was a job” to communicate how wealthy they would be for simply stanning their favorites.

As the trend continues to grow and go viral, check out Cardi’s post below, as well as a bunch of spin-off tweets from other people.

Jayda Cheaves Takes A Holiday Vacation To St. Barts With Lil Baby & Meek Mill

Lil Baby appears to be spoiling Jayda Cheaves once again. On Christmas, the “Drip Too Hard” rapper surprised his baby mama with a flashy Rolls Royce featuring a gorgeous red interior, which she quickly hopped on Instagram to post about earlier this week.

“Merry Christmas to meeeee,” she captioned the sweet mother-son snapshot of her and her baby hugging in matching pyjamas in front of the luxurious gift. On top of the new whip, the 27-year-old also came through with some incredible Chanel bags for JaydaWayda, despite the fact that they’re not officially together at the moment.

As if that wasn’t enough, now, internet sleuths have figured out that Jayda is currently on vacation in St. Barts with both Baby and Expensive Pain artist Meek Mill. The mother of one didn’t directly post up with her baby daddy, but she did share a post to her story that makes it look as though she spent some time in a helicopter, flying over the beautiful clear blue ocean.

Meek also shared something on his Instagram – a picture of him and Lil Baby sitting in a helicopter together – which is how fans were able to piece together what’s happening behind the scenes of their social media feeds.

Reactions to the vacation news have been all over the place, with some suggesting that Jayda “has” to be nice right now because of the RR her ex just gifted her, while others said that the pair’s relationship seems to have gotten better since realizing they’re “better off as homies.”

Elsewhere, users brought Icy Girl Saweetie’s name into the conversation, speculating that she might be feeling some type of way after finding out about Baby’s vacation, seeing as the two are rumoured to have been spending some time together as of late – read more about that here.

MMA Fighter David Koenig’s Remains Found 2 Years Later

Last week, former MMA fighter David Koenig’s remains were found in a wooded area in Missouri. The discovery came after a man searching for deer antlers came across the human remains which would later be identified as the mixed martial arts fighter.

David Koenig was last seen in a Branson motel in February 2020. His remains were found Dec. 22nd near the 3700 block of Fall Creek Road in the Ozark region. Investigators from the Branson Police Department and the Taney County Coroner’s Office were able to recover the remains and some personal artifacts. Forensic pathologists determined that there were no signs of foul play in Koenig’s death. There currently are no clear causes of death but his mother claims that he may have been in distress at the time of his disappearance.

At the time of his disappearance, his mother did acknowledge that he reached out to his friends for help. “He messaged a few of his friends asking for help. He thought he might be in some sort of trouble. But by the time they read the messages and tried to respond to him, he had stopped messaging. There was no answer from him,” she told Dateline NBC.

After the findings, Koenig’s mother released another statement regarding his death. “Nobody killed Dave. Nobody! He left the Peachtree on foot and never made it home.” She also added, “why he was in distress, and why he walked through the deep woods…we most likely will never know. But he is GONE.”

Koenig was 25 at the time of his disappearance. Branson Police Chief Jeff Matthews stated, “while this is not the ending we hoped for, we offer our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Koenig.”
