Doja Cat’s Free Outdoor Show In Indianapolis Was Almost Ruined By A Bomb Threat

First, Doja Cat had to cancel one of her last appearances of 2021 due to Covid-19, now, the pop star has got crazed fans calling in threats to her shows. Doja was slated to perform a free show in Indianapolis today, but the show was briefly interrupted by the threat of a bomb and police cleared the area outside Monument Circle where fans had gathered for about 20 minutes while they investigated. Doja was slated to perform an outdoor show in downtown Indianapolis as part of the College Football Playoff national championship festivities, but a man making threats about a bomb almost derailed the set.

According to IndyStar, around 5 PM, a man made a threat about an explosive device. He is now in custody and police are investigating, but so far no bomb or evidence of one has been found. “A fan wanted to advance in line so he exercised very poor judgment and told those around him in line he had a bomb in his backpack,” Deputy Chief Joshua Barker said in a text message to IndyStar. “Someone did the right thing and alerted IMPD. The backpack was clean.”

Fans posted shots of just how packed the area was for the rapper’s performance, as well as some shots from the show, which went on as planned. Check them out below.

Zendaya, Willow Smith, and Kiernan Shipka performed a unique rendition of David Bowie’s classic hit, “Changes,” in honor of the late singer’s birthday, Saturday. The performance was slammed on social media and even compared to Gal Gadot’s infamous cover of John Lennon’s “Imagine,” with several other celebrities.

The piece was published by W Magazine in a video directed by Lynn Hirschberg.

“In honor of what would have been #DavidBowie’s 75th birthday, watch as the stars deliver a heartfelt rendition of the legendary rocker’s hit song,” the caption read on Instagram.

Commenters labeled the performance cringeworthy.

“Why are they reading these iconic lyrics off a page!!??? If they don’t know them off by heart like any Bowie fan then,” one user wrote.

Another added: “This is so insulting to David Bowie, on his birthday of all days.”

“Changes” was featured on Bowie’s iconic 1971 album, Hunky Dory, and is widely considered one of the legendary singer’s best songs.

Bowie passed away in 2016 after an 18-month battle with liver cancer that he chose not to make public.

Michigan Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh will “entertain” offers from NFL teams this offseason, according to 4-star wide receiver recruit Darrius Clemons’s father, Larry. Larry says Harbaugh was candid with his son during the recruitment process.

“He said that he’ll entertain (it),” Larry told Sports Illustrated. “He was up front with us about that. I had Coach Harbaugh speak to my pastor. They had a good conversation. Our pastor asked him about that, and that’s just that’s the (reply) that he gave him.”

He continued: “I have no choice but to respect a coach if he’s up front with us like that. So, I respect him for that. … By him saying stuff like that I was like, ‘We can’t pick a school because of a coach.’ We learned that from the Oregon (coaching change).”

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport says that Harbaugh has become a prime candidate for the Las Vegas Raiders’ head coaching vacancy.

Harbaugh previously served as the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers from 2011 to 2014. He led the team to three straight NFC championship games and a Super Bowl appearance.

Michigan lost to Georgia in the College Football Playoff semifinal, earlier this year.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Discusses Kyrie Irving’s Vaccination Status

Giannis Antetokounmpo discussed Kyrie Irving’s vaccination status, following the Milwaukee Bucks’ 121-109 win over the Brooklyn Nets, Friday. The two-time NBA Most Valuable Player says that you can try to show someone why they should be vaccinated, but at the end of the day, “if he doesn’t want to do it, I can’t keep pressuring him.”

“When it comes to basketball, I feel like I can talk to them,” Antetokounmpo said of his teammates, according to ESPN’s Tim Bontemps. “When it comes to a personal decision like that, it’s … I’ve got to let them make their decision. They’re grown men. You know, and every situation is different. I cannot pressure somebody to do something that he doesn’t feel comfortable doing.”

He continued: “I can tell you why I did it. Why I felt comfortable doing it. To protect my family, to protect my mom and stuff, stay safe, and you just hope he understands that. But if he doesn’t want to do it, I can’t keep pressuring him. I’ve got to focus on myself and come every day and do my job, because that’s what I get paid to do. I don’t know what relationship they have, what kind of relationship they have. They probably have talked to him but they cannot keep on pressuring him to do something he doesn’t feel comfortable because it takes so much energy and takes energy away from basketball. That why we’re here.”

Irving’s vaccination status has been a hot topic throughout the year, as he missed the entire season until Wednesday due to the NBA’s COVID-19 protocols.

Ben Affleck Says The “Sad Affleck” Meme Made Him Nervous His Kids Would Be Worried About Him

Ben Affleck says his portrayal in the media has made him concerned about his kids’ worrying about his mental health. Affleck discussed his mental health struggles in a new interview with the Los Angeles Times.

Affleck explains that he had difficulty dealing with his media image during the early 2000s, but later learned to overcome the anxiety by going to therapy; however, he says once his kids grew older, things became difficult again.

“I got to a place where [the public perception] was so different from who I am that I just stopped reading and stopped caring. But then, as my kids got older and started seeing the Internet themselves, that’s the difficult part.”

“Even the ‘Sad Affleck’ meme – that was funny to me,” he recalled. “I mean, there’s nobody who hasn’t felt that way at a junket. But then my kids see it and I think, ‘Oh, are they going to think their dad is fundamentally sad or they have to worry about me?’ That’s really tough.”

Affleck has three children, Violet Anne, 16, and Seraphina Rose, 13, and Samuel Garner, 9.
