Kodak Black Was Getting Twerked On So Hard At A Panthers Game That People Thought It Was More Than Dancing

Kodak Black has made headlines for many reasons. He’s a rapper, so he’s often in the news for his music releases. He got in trouble with the law early on in his career, so details about a potential sexual assault and battery case have been reported on many times, as have his charges for grand theft auto and child neglect. Lately, Kodak has even garnered attention for insisting it he’s the one who warrants a Verzuz battle with Jay-Z… which plenty of listeners will consider to be more off-the-mark behavior.

But tonight while watching the Florida Panthers play the Vancouver Canucks, Kodak and his fiancé, Mellow Rackz, caught the attention of fans at the FLA Live Arena for a different reason. Namely, for around of twerking that was intense… it seemed like it might be more than just dancing. Although a different clip posted later showed Rackz dancing up on him in a way that seemed to indicate there was no foul play involved, plenty of fans — and then, of course internet commenters — had already assumed that Kodak and Mellow got bored watching the game and decided to get it on.

Hey, even the most sex-positive among us can agree, that whatever two consenting adults want to do is all well and good, but it probably shouldn’t happen in an arena setting. Looks like that wasn’t the case here, but the internet had a field day anyway. Check out some of the reactions below.

Roddy Ricch Explodes In Clubhouse Chat After Crip Accuses Him Of “False Flagging”

Clubhouse is becoming known as the place for venting and confrontations. The app rose to fame during the quarantine lockdown and became a staple for celebrities to jump in rooms to converse with the fans and the media, and now it is a staple for those looking to hash out differences. Karen Civil and Joyner Lucas became a trending topic after their Clubhouse spat, and it looks as if Roddy Ricch has engaged in a back and forth with Yah-L, a reported Crip from Los Angeles.

Apparently, there have been allegations that Roddy is “false flagging,” and he confronted Yah-L about the rumors on Clubhouse. “I got phone calls, text messages, I’m seeing on the internet I’m false flagging. I wanna know what’s going on,” said Roddy.

“Who’s sayin’ I’m not from the hood? You saying I’m not from the hood?!” he added. When Yah-L stood his ground, Roddy continued to let him have it. “I’m asking you a question… You ain’t see me get put on to Blacc Macc?… Alright, champ, three n*ggas, put two of them down, that ain’t official? I know a lot of little homies that ain’t get their official, n*gga.”

Yah-L told him to watch his tone, but Roddy didn’t care and they continued to talk over one another. “You ever touched a million dollars? I’m asking you a question. You ever touched a million dollars before?” Roddy asked. “I’m asking you do you know what that feel like? ‘Cause you here talking about another n*gga for free. Laughing. You laughing and I’m asking you a question.”

Yah-L became upset and told Roddy that “real ones” didn’t help him earn that money. “You playing internet games on some sh*t—I don’t even know how to use this Clubhouse sh*t. I had to call Wack four, five times, he callin’ me. You thirty, forty years old using this app, n*gga, I’m twenty-three. I don’t even know how to use this sh*t. ‘Cause I’m over here trying to make the Forbes again this year, man.”

The typically mild-mannered rapper added that Yah-L was trying to tear him down without mentioning all that Roddy has done for his community. Roddy also listed off names of people from his neighborhood that have moved up the industry ladder with him and have gone on to form their own companies. He also refuted that he was avoiding Compton, saying he shot all his music videos there until his debut album and was there so often that his label told him he had to leave and film somewhere else.

“I done made $20 million in a year, you think I’m ’bout to be posted up with you, n*gga?!” Listen below.

Casanova Advises Roddy Ricch To Stay Out Of The Hood & Speaks On Jay-Z

He may be behind bars, but Casanova is making sure his voice is heard. It has been just over one year since Casanova was arrested on federal charges related to racketeering and drug trafficking, and while the rapper continues to maintain his innocence, he also has called out those who could help him, but won’t. His friends and supporters have rallied around him and often share words of encouragement on social media, including his wife who has been holding him down until he comes home.

Meanwhile, within the last 24 hours, Casanova has been firing off a few tweets that read like random thoughts. In the first, he addresses Roddy Ricch’s recent allegations that he’s “false flagging” because he’s worked his way out of the hood.

“NIGGAS WANT @RoddyRicch to be in the hood so he can end up like me lol Man f*ck that sh*t @RoddyRicch keep making that 20 million a year, it beats shooting the wrong video in the hood and sh*t go left [double exclamation mark emoji] I hope that don’t go over your head.” He also touched on the beef between Kodak Black and Jackboy, tweeting that he doesn’t know what happened between them but “I WISH THEY COULD SQUASH THINGS AND COME BACK TOGETHER.”

His last seems to be a note for those who continue to ask him about connecting with Jay-Z in an effort to help Casanova’s case. “Stop asking me what Jay Z is doing for me… he did enough already, he gave me a shot.” Check it out below.

Lil Wayne Says His ‘Sorry 4 The Wait’ Mixtape Will Be On Streaming Platforms ‘Soon’

In the summer of 2020, Lil Wayne released his beloved 2009 mixtape, No Ceilings, to streaming platforms. It arrived without the original three skits that once appeared on it. Seven songs were cut as well, presumably due to Wayne’s inability to clear samples. Now Wayne plans to bring another one of his famed mixtapes to streaming platforms: Sorry 4 The Wait.

Sorry 4 The Wait was the first mixtape Wayne shared after he was released from prison in late 2010 following an eight-month stint on an attempted criminal possession of a weapon charge. Wayne’s ninth album, Tha Carter IV, was originally supposed to be the first one he dropped after his release from prison, but it faced numerous delays. As a result, Wayne shared Sorry 4 The Wait as an apology for those repeated delays.

Sorry 4 The Wait is composed of remixes with Wayne trying his hand at tracks like Beyonce’s “Run The World (Girls),” Drake’s “Marvin’s Room,” Adele’s “Rolling In Deep,” Miguel’s “Sure Thing,” and more. It features 12 songs, so it remains to be seen if Wayne and his team will be able to clear all of the necessary samples to keep the mixtape in its original form.

You can pre-save Sorry 4 The Wait on Apple Music and Spotify here.

Kodak Black Takes Date To Hockey Game, Gets Accused Of Having Sex In VIP Section: Report

When it comes to his dating life, Kodak Black has his own way of moving. Within the last two years alone, Kodak has surfaced with several women and that doesn’t count those that he shamelessly flirts with on social media. He has publicly fawned over both Zendaya and Cardi B’s sister Hennessy Carolina, but that doesn’t even include his “engagement” to Mellow Rackz and the woman he’s reportedly currently expecting a child with.

Many rappers carry on lifestyles that include dating or romancing multiple women at one time, some under the guise of polyamory and others who simply don’t want to be committed to one woman.

It looks as if Kodak was out and about again because he was spotted at a hockey game with a date. His lucky lady posted videos of her escapades sitting rinkside as Kodak was seen smiling from ear to ear, but this was a date unlike any other. Aside from the clips of them posing for the cameras, someone enjoying the game from the other side of the rink captured the woman bent over in front of Kodak during the game.

Some have tweeted about the incident with claims that the couple was having sex, however, there are other reports that she was just twerking on him. A video clearly shows that they they were just grinding, albeit awkwardly, but they were both clothed. People nearby couldn’t help but stare because this is probably the first time they have seen anything like this in hockey.

Pete Rock Plans To File A Lawsuit Against Nas For Unpaid Royalties From His Work On ‘Illmatic’

Pete Rock and Nas are at loggerheads. The producer has revealed his plans to file a lawsuit against the rapper for unpaid royalties from his work on his classic album Illmatic. According to Complex, Rock claims that he hasn’t been paid for contributing to the album since its 1994 release, despite having production and writing credits on “The World Is Yours,” one of the biggest songs from the album. “Nas and his people have stonewalled me since 1994,” Rock said about the matter. “My New Year’s resolution is to be compensated for my hard work on Illmatic.”

Rock’s legal team says he signed a contract that gave him a right to a portion of the royalties from “The World Is Yours,” and they now predict that the amount owed is in the millions of dollars. They also say Nas failed to uphold his end of the deal, despite numerous requests from Rock to be compensated. The lawsuit will be filed later this month, according to Complex.

In addition to being one of the more popular cuts from Illmatic, “The World Is Yours” has also been sampled in nearly 100 songs, including records by Eminem, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Mac Miller, Rick Ross, and more. Nas and Rock were last paired together on “The Art Of It” and “Queensbridge Politics,” which appeared on Nas’ 2019 compilation album The Lost Tapes 2.

Pete Rock Plans To Sue Nas Over Unpaid “Illmatic” Royalties: Report

Lawsuits and court cases aren’t unfamiliar in Hip Hop and this time, it looks as if two of the genre’s icons are at the center of controversy. When it comes to collecting their monies owed, rappers don’t mess around. Unpaid royalties are often the focus of artists taking their fellow creators or labels to court, and according to Page Six, Pete Rock is preparing to sue Nas.

This suit is taking things way back to 1994 when Nas released his stellar debut studio album, Illmatic. The classic record continues to reach heights in Top 10 lists, but Rock claims someone needs to write him a check.

According to Page Six, Rock alleges Nas signed a contract “that would allow the producer a cut of the proceeds from the classic track ‘The World Is Yours,’ a total that’s now in the millions of dollars.” The famed producer has a writing credit on the record and added vocals, and Rock made claims that he has attempted to collect from Nas but nothing materialized.

Now, it doesn’t seem that Pete Rock has yet to file the lawsuit, but it’s reported that he’s preparing to make things official sometime this month. “Nas and his people have stonewalled me since 1994; My New Year’s resolution is to be compensated for my hard work on ‘Illmatic,'” Rock said in a statement.

Hip Hop fans are hoping this one can work out without the courts getting involved. We’ll keep you updated on the progress of this case. Revisit Illmatic below.

Brandy Boasts About “Queens” Co-Star Cam’ron: “We Just Had A Great Chemistry”

Both Brandy and Cam’ron have dabbled in various aspects of the entertainment industry, but most recently, these two have appeared together on the ABC series, Queens. Brandy portrays the character of Naomi, also known as Xplicit Lyrics, a woman who was once a part of an all-women Hip Hop group that disbanded but is looking to reunite for another chance in the spotlight.

The Dipset icon tackles the character of Naomi’s ex-boyfriend who re-enters her life, but behind the scenes, Cam’ron has been sharing bits of his interactions with the R&B star.

We’ve reported on these two cracking jokes and posting backstage skits, and during her recent interview with Essence, Brandy was questioned about whether or not she and Cam’ron would one day collaborate in the studio together. She didn’t directly answer the question, but it seems she just got sidetracked while bragging about her co-star’s talents.

“I was so thankful for him to come and be a part of the show because all those skits that we did, that’s him. That’s his mind,” said Brandy. “He’s such a comedian and editing, he edited everything. And I just went along with it. He was the director and I was the actress, and it was just great.”

“And you know, chemistry is something that, it’s just, it’s supernatural,” she continued. “You can’t force it, you can’t teach it, and we just had a great chemistry. I had a really great time working with him and I think he should do more acting. He’s so good.”

A Music Meme Asking People To ‘Pick A House’ Earns Responses From Artists Themselves

On Tuesday, Twitter was taken over by a music meme that asked people to “pick a house” based on the bands or groups that would be in it. A total of nine houses appeared in the meme, with each featuring six acts. The list of musicians included Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Metallica, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, Greta Van Fleet, NWA, Wu-Tang Clan, Blink-182, Rage Against The Machine, Nine Inch Nails, and more. While many everyday people shared their responses, some artists also chimed in, sometimes critiquing the prompt.

Rock band Eve 6 felt there was a pair of options missing from the houses altogether. “There’s no power pop or cocaine rock house i’ll die from exposure,” they wrote. Questlove was caught between two choices but was able to make a pick. “My blood is in house 5,” he wrote. “But for history sake I’ll see you at house 3.” Lastly, rapper Open Mike Eagle went with three picks in his response. “Sleep in 1, cook in 5, shower in 9,” he wrote.

Alex Skolnick, who is the lead guitarist of Testament, who appear in house No. 2, also shared his picks. “I’m already in 2 but I’d be happy in 3 or 9,” he wrote. “Or more recently, 5!”

Others who chimed in were rapper Soul Khan, who asked, “Uh is there a housing covenant in this neighborhood.” On the other hand, singer-songwriter Liz Phair wrote simply, “Burn the neighborhood down.”

Ina Garten Dragged Reese Witherspoon’s Guide To Healthy Habits, Saying People Drink Should ‘Drink More Large Cosmos’ Instead

A new year brings with it a bevy of breathless — and quickly ignored — resolutions. (Or at least jokes about same.) But this year, like last year, is a little different. Since 2020, we’ve been living amidst a once-in-a-century public health crisis that some people keep help making worse. We’ve developed, and nurtured, a lot of bad habits. So when 2022 rolled along, some celebrities offered people their own resolutions, to help people lead healthier lives in the face of unimaginable horror. But in the case of Reese Witherspoon, that do-goodery led to them being hilariously mocked.

On Monday — a few days after being dragged for supporting cryptocurrency — the Oscar-winning actress posted a list of life-changing activities she’s “working towards” in 2022. They were:

1. Start the day with a big glass of water
2. Get 10 minutes of outdoor light. [Stanford neuroscience professor Andrew Huberman] recommends morning light.
3. Spend 30-60 mins reading without distraction everyday.
4. In bed by 10pm. *no late night TV binges. Try to get 8 hours of rest!”

This is all basic but sage advice. Water, natural light, a good night’s sleep — all important. Reading is better for you than binge-watching, late night or any other time of day. You’re right, Reese.

But someone wasn’t having it. That person was Ina Garten, host of The Barefoot Contessa and serial cookbook author. In the post’s comments, Garten told Witherspoon that her advice may “sound great.” Alas, she also wrote, “Probably not doing any of those things!” She instead offered her own four tips that are…well, maybe not healthier but certainly more fun.

1. Drink more large cosmos
2. Stay up late watching addictive streaming series
3. Stay in bed in the morning playing Sudoko instead of reading a good book
4. Spend more time (safely) with people you love.”

She added, “In a pandemic, I do what I can.”

Since the pandemic began two years ago, Garten has been a cheerleader for cosmos, the tasty cocktail made famous on Sex and the City two decades back. Last month she went on TODAY with Hoda and Jenna, where she told the hosts, “At the beginning of the pandemic I thought we all needed a treat so I did the largest cosmo anybody’s ever had.” They then all shared super-sized cocktails, during a morning chat show. Living one’s best life, for sure.
