Memphis Bleek says the new 40/40 Club is headed to Midtown.
“The 40/40 has been open 15 years,” Bleek said to TMZ. “We was in Battery Park, Lower Manhattan, nobody was down there. We was the first. After 15 years, Jay decided to close the doors and move Uptown a bit further to Midtown. It’s not over. We coming back bigger and stronger than ever.”
Bleek revealed the new location will be around 42nd Street where the money is at and the new 40/40 is set to open in Summer 2024.
The New York Eater also reported the 40/40 plans to reopen at a new location in 2024, according to spokesperson Andrea Thomas. The original location underwent a $10 million renovation in 2012 to keep it competitive with other venues in the area.
The location held inside Barclays Center will remain open.
