Lee Carter, known as Houston rapper Viper, has been arrested for kidnapping a woman and holding her in his southeast Houston home for years.
52-year-old Carter is charged with aggravated kidnapping and is currently held on a $100,000 bond.
“They made the arrest for the outstanding aggravated kidnapping warrant,” said Michael Collins, Commander with the Houston Police Department. “The concern is that we possibly had an individual located inside this residence, perhaps locked inside one of the interior rooms.”
Law enforcement states Carter kidnapped after stating he would give her help, allowing her in his car and locking her in the garage at his home. The woman stated Carter forced her to have sex and take drugs like crack, occasionally allowing her to shower.
The woman stated she attempted to flee multiple times but Carter would catch her and continuously threatened her with violence. The woman alerted the police of her location by using a laptop to contact the 911 dispatch on a Text Now app.
Officers state they found the woman “extremely malnourished” and weighing “approximately 70 pounds with a pungent stench.” Neighbors believed the home was involved in either human trafficking or the filming of porn.
Carter released the viral single “You’ll Cowards Don’t Even Smoke Crack.”
