Halle Berry’s Nude Instagram Photo Criticized, She Responds

It takes serious guts to post a thirst trap online these days, especially knowing how ruthless trolls can be on social media. Regardless, a healthy roster of celebrities have been showing off their figures as the weather continues to warm up – one of them even stripping down to her birthday suit this past weekend for a tasteful Instagram portrait. 56-year-old Halle Berry is the starlet in question, and she looked stunning while sipping on a glass of wine sans clothing this past Saturday (April 8).

Upon posting the image, the Catwoman lead received a mostly positive reaction, especially from fellow celebrities. Meagan Good commended her girlfriend for her “big Leo energy,” while others like Halle Bailey, Kelly Rowland, and Saweetie also dropped to share words of support. The uplifting comments by far outweigh the unavoidable hate comments, but Berry still couldn’t resist the urge to clap back at one particularly troubled Twitter user. “Imagine being in your 50s, still posting nudes for attention in menopause when you should be chilling with the grandkids,” they wrote above her salacious snapshot.

Halle Berry Claps Back at Haters

Aging with dignity is no longer a thing,” their hate message concluded. Upon reading the judgmental words for herself, Berry decided to take them in stride. “Did you guys know the heart of a shrimp is located in its head?” she wrote back, earning upwards of 175K likes on Twitter. In @theshaderoom’s comment section, IG users have been debating the discourse, many of them leaning toward the Ohio native’s side. “I’m tired of [people] acting as if you’re supposed to stop having fun once you get older🙄,” one person vented.

Another pointed out that, considering how phenomenal she looks at her age, it’s no wonder Halle Berry wants to flaunt what she’s got. “If I looked as good as she does in her 50s I would be posting nudes too lol,” they admitted. “She’s not a grandma and I did not know that about shrimp!” another quippy comment reads, proving that most others online are completely unbothered by seeing the mother of two’s nearly-nude body.
