Ludacris Went Viral For Drinking Potentially Dangerous Glacier Water In Alaska, So He Shared A Follow-Up Video

The National Park Service says, “Never drink water from a natural source that you haven’t purified, even if the water looks clean. Water in a stream, river or lake may look clean, but it can still be filled with bacteria, viruses, and parasites that can result in waterborne diseases. […] It is essential that you purify natural water.”

Ludacris does not seem to have heard that advice.

On August 23, he performed at the Alaska State Fairgrounds in Palmer, Alaska. While there, he decided to take in the local sights, and a video of him drinking glacier water went viral, with commenters expressing concern about Luda’s health. (A 2022 study showed that “hundreds of thousands of tons of bacteria are being released by melting glaciers.”)

So, in a follow-up video shared today (August 27), Usher decided to assure everybody that he’s doing just fine post-gulp. He says in the clip, “Yo, for everybody asking me how that glacier water really tasted… When I tell y’all I’m a water snob: It was the best-tasting water I’ve ever had in my life, and as I drank it, I felt like every cell in my human body was being hydrated and rejuvenated at the same damn time.”

Drake remains one of the most popular artists in the entire world. Despite his recent feud with Kendrick Lamar, there is no denying that Drizzy maintains a rabid fanbase. Overall, he has ride or die fans that will defend him until the very end. Moreover, his Spotify streams are doing just fine right now, even if his most recent releases haven’t had the impact he would have hoped for. If anything, the artist still has some incredibly famous friends, especially in the streaming world.

One of those friends is none other than Kai Cenat. These two have had conversations in the past, although they have yet to officially stream together. One has to figure that a collab of this sort is likely to happen sooner rather than later. However, last night, Drake found himself concerned with Cenat’s marathon stream with iShowSpeed. The two megastars are playing Minecraft, a game meant for kids that can be pretty aimless. This confused the superstar artist, who texted Kai in the middle of the stream with some questions.

In the clip above, you can see Kai alert Speed to the fact that Drake just texted them to ask what the point of Minecraft is. The visual of Drake being confused by the game is pretty humorous, and now, the clip is beginning to make the rounds online. Perhaps Drake should download the game and hop online. If he were to stream this with Speed and Kai, it would likely be much bigger than his Fortnite stream with Ninja, which is really saying something.

Hawk Tuah Girl Has Come To A ‘Truce’ With Yung Gravy After Their Conflicting Stories About DMs

Like all the great “he said, she said” disputes, this one began with a TMZ interview.

Earlier this week, the tabloid news organization shared an interview with Haliey Welch, a.k.a. Hawk Tuah Girl, asking her if any famous people have slid into her DMs since she went viral for her salacious suggestion on how to make a man go crazy in bed. She said rapper Yung Gravy messaged her “to take me on a date and I was like, nah, I don’t know about that.”

However, Yung Gravy denied this was the case — and he had the receipts to prove it. “Can’t be nice anymore, LOL,” he wrote on X, along with a screenshot of his interaction with Welch that makes it seem like she reached out to him first. Plot twist! But then Welch replied to Yung Gravy’s screenshot with one of her own (“Haha u messaged first”), showing that it was, indeed, the “Betty (Get Money)” rapper who made the first move, even if the move wasn’t asking her out on a date but instead inviting her to one of his upcoming concerts.

Welch acknowledged the miscommunication in a follow-up tweet. “Maybe I misread it…let’s call a truce Mr Gravy,” she wrote.

As for Mr. Gravy, he told TMZ that he messaged Welch because “I wanted to show her some love.” He continued, “I saw people hating on her and, you know, being mad negative. All she’s doing is talking about sex and doing it the right way. That’s what I do and no one’s mad about that.”

He also said that women deserve their own “hawk tuah.” His suggestion? “For all the boys out there, if I’m going down on a woman, we’ll call it the ‘splash stallion.’”

That could use some work, or better yet, it never comes up again and we all move on.

Jennifer Lopez Has Reportedly Filed For Divorce From Ben Affleck

According to reports, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are heading to their own separate blocks from now on.
After weeks of speculation, today (August 20) TMZ has exclusively shared that the “Can’t Get Enough” singer formally filed for divorce from Ben Affleck.

In the outlet’s report, it claimed that Lopez submitted the necessary paperwork with the Los Angeles County Superior Court. While the filing didn’t come as a surprise, considering the pair put their martial estate up for sale. However, there are two details surrounding the alleged legal action that made supporters raise an eyebrow.

According to TMZ, Lopez submitted the documents on her own, without an attorney (which is legally referred to as pro per). Another shocker in the matter is what a source alleged. The insider claimed that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck did not sign a prenuptial agreement.

Despite trying to shut down rumors that there was trouble in their rekindled romance, in the forms, Lopez alleged noted their date of separation was April 26, 2024.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck tied the knot back in July 2022 after supposedly reuniting in April 2021. Since reconnecting, the duo have featured each other as a muse in their works. For Affleck, that was a string of Dunkin commercials including a Super Bowl 2024 slot. As for Lopez, it’s her latest album and supporting film, This Is Me…Now.

Yung Gravy Dismisses Claims That Hawk Tuah Girl Turned Him Down

A story that would have made no sense a year ago. Hawk Tuah Girl, aka Hailey Welch, has become a pseudo celebrity thanks to a viral TikTok interview. She’s exploded in the months since, popping up at country shows and booking podcast appearances with notable brands. Yung Gravy is one of the people who have taken notice. Welch (we’re not calling her Hawk Tuah for the duration of this article) claimed that the rapper slid into her DMs, but she turned him down. Now, though the Gravy Train is coming out with his side of the story.

Yung Gravy took to social media on August 19 to set the record straight. He reposted the article with Welch’s comments and wrote: “Can’t be nice anymore lol.” The rapper then posted a screenshot of the DM conversation in question. Yung Gravy gave Welch props for becoming a sensation, and proceeded to invite her to an upcoming concert. “Oh, and this ain’t just me trying to finesse cause I don’t know your man situation,” he explained. “But I wanted to have you at a show next month to hear my country sh*t.” Welch asked when the concert was, and Yung Grizzle posted a link to his tour.

Yung Gravy Provided Receipts For Their DM Convo

The screenshot doesn’t show any more of the conversation. Based on what we do see, however, Yung Gravy made it clear that he wasn’t trying to shoot his shot. Nor does it seem like Welch definitively shot him down. “I was like, nahhhh, I don’t know about that…,” Welch originally claimed. Yung Gravy seems to have won the internet’s favor in this exchange. A community note has been added to the original Welch quote providing the rapper’s POV. “Yung Gravy denies this,” the note reads. “He claims he only invited her to a concert.”

This is not the first time Yung Gravy has been linked to a viral celebrity. The rapper attended the 2023 Video Music Awards with Sheri Easterling, the mother of TikToker Addison Rae. The pair shocked many online, but Gravy refuted the “stunt date” accusations. In fact, he told E! Canada that he still keeps in touch with Easterling. “We still keep in touch a lot,” he noted. “It wouldn’t make sense for us to date because we live in different cities, but we keep in touch. Any show I have in Louisiana, she’ll be there.”

Kai Cenat & IShowSpeed Shower Together After Two-Day Minecraft Stream

Kai Cenat and IShowSpeed are up to even more antics as they were seen taking a shower together on livestream. According to Metro, the two massively popular multimedia figures did so after playing Minecraft for two days straight. For those who are not familiar with the sandbox game there are multiple modes to play the game on. You have “Creative”, which allows the player to not die and build anything they want with unlimited materials. Then, there’s “Survival”. In that mode you have to collect everything yourself and you can die. There is a variant called “Hardcore” and when you die you lose all of your progress, and you’ll have to start from scratch.

As you know, Kai and Speed love to try anything so they attempted to beat Minecraft and its final mob boss, the Ender Dragon, on “Hardcore”. However, after getting to that point after their reported 14th attempt (25 hours of gameplay), Cenat died. A therapist was even brought in to try and calm these two balls of energy down, but to no avail. The livestream started on August 17, and they apparently aren’t stopping until they beat Minecraft.

In apparent attempt to try and find some method of relaxation and stress relief, Kai Cenat and IShowSpeed decided to shower together, two days into the marathon. However, during the recording, Speed was getting too close for Cenat’s liking. “Your [shower] is over there!”, Cenat said. “I’m just washing my body bro”, Speed replied. “In front of me?!”, Cenat questioned. “Stop being weird, we’re bros, this is what bros do. You ain’t never taken a shower with your homeboy?”, Speed asked. “No… that’s a**”. Some fans were weirded out as well. “Remember, kids see and follow everything .. be mindful of the examples you set.. everything isn’t funny or worth posting.” However, there were some who pointed out locker room layouts. “I mean men shower in locker rooms together”.

North West Sparks Fan Concern After Hanging Out With Streamer Tylil

North West is fresh off yet another feature thanks to VULTURES 2, and wants to hang out with celebrities just as much as her father Ye does. However, this resulted in some controversy when she linked up with popular streamer Tylil for some social media content. Moreover, many fans thought that this was an inappropriate meeting, or were instead concerned with the 11-year-old not hanging out with people that are her age. Still, other social media users pointed out that, not only was La La Anthony there to accompany her, but that North’s security team is probably more than enough to prevent any dangers.

Also, this came as a result of many people not being familiar with Tylil and making unfair assumptions about his character based on this out-of-context situation, which is not what we’re suggesting here. Elsewhere, though, North West also had plenty of fun at Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s recent VULTURES listening party, where we’re sure she saw plenty of famous faces. Sadly, this came at a time in which fans were more preoccupied with Ye’s alleged nitrous addiction. Hopefully we get some more heartening updates soon in that regard.

Nevertheless, North West’s admiration of streamers is no shocker, as Kai Cenat attended her birthday party and responded to the resulting backlash. “Here’s the thing, first things first, bro,” he expressed to “everybody who made [the birthday party] weird.” “I am North’s favorite streamer bro, okay? So, yesterday, all she wanted to do was meet me, bro. That was it. Literally. So, anybody who’s making it weird, like, that’s the weirdest thing ever. We had a great time yesterday. She’s great, bro. She has a good group of friends around her, like, everything was great.”

Meanwhile, North West also popped out to witness Kendrick Lamar’s Juneteenth concert and, to no one’s surprise, had a blast. As such, it’s no surprise that she continues to link up with a lot of people and is always excited about doing so. Fans are reasonably skeptical of many of these interactions, but they would much rather be safe than sorry. Hawk Tuah Girl Names The Rapper Who She Claims Slid Into Her DMs

Haliey Welch, a.k.a. Hawk Tuah Girl, has gone from having no social media presence to over 2.3 million followers on Instagram in less than two months, ever since she taught the world to “spit on that thing.”

When asked by TMZ if any famous people have slid into her DMs, Welch (who is capitalizing and making bank on her viral fame) mentioned rapper Yung Gravy. “He wants to take me on a date and I was like, nah, I don’t know about that,” she said while making the cut it out gesture.

You can watch the video (which appears to have been filmed the same day that Hawk Tuah Girl threw out the first pitch at a New York Mets game, causing everyone to lose their minds) here.

This isn’t the first time that Yung Gravy has taken Michael Scott’s Wayne Gretzky quote to heart. After Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello announced their split last year, the “Betty (Get Money)” rapper wrote “LETS F*CKIN GOOOOO” on Twitter and shared a headline about the breakup in an Instagram Story, adding multiple saluting emojis. As far as we can tell, the Modern Family actress has not accepted his advances.

It doesn’t sound like Hawk Tuah Girl is going to, either.

IShowSpeed Meets Lil Wayne & Tom Brady At Fanatics Fest

IShowSpeed met some legends at Fanatics Fest in New York City this weekend, as he rightfully noted in a Twitter community post. “i met a legend today [blowing smoke emoji],” he captioned a picture of him alongside Lil Wayne. Both participated in Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, and Matt Hillman’s Roommates Show program, which also had Tom Brady as a special guest. Speed even hit a backflip for them, adding to his recent athletic feats in front of superstar rappers. Recently, he also beat Travis Scott in a foot race as Quavo and others cheered them on, making for a pretty notable moment.

However, not all of IShowSpeed’s celebrity interactions go exactly as planned. Nevertheless, this means that these moments will probably go even more viral as a result, so it’s a win-win situation as long as it doesn’t cross a line. This happened when the popular streamer met Kevin Durant during a recent episode of Logan Paul’s ImPaulsive podcast. The Slim Reaper was pretty creeped out by Speed’s longing and loving stare at him, even joking about him having to back up as a result.

As for IShowSpeed’s new celebrity friends, Tom Brady and Lil Wayne go way back, especially given Weezy’s history as a big football fan. IShowSpeed Demolishes Travis Scott In A Foot Race: Watch

About a year after Travis Scott advocated for Twitch to unban IShowSpeed, they linked up to settle their speed once and for all. Moreover, Quavo and others looked on as they engaged in a foot race, and as you can see in the clip below, the streamer was able to beat the rapper. Speed was very excited about the whole thing, whereas La Flame had a big smile on his face. Others started to make the typical foot race excuses: “You blocked him,” “You started first,” et cetera, et cetera. All the boastful banter was pretty funny to witness, and it’s at least heartening to see massive celebrities have some more innocent fun.

That’s especially the case for Travis Scott, whose typical idea of fun occurs onstage with thousands of die-hard fans in front of him. For example, Future and Metro Boomin brought him out for their tour stop in Brooklyn, and the results were just as electric as you would expect. With a big run of South American dates slated for the rest of the year, the Houston creative will surely have a lot more fun in 2024. Hopefully this isn’t the last behind-the-scenes look we get at how he and others unwind after all the stresses of performing.

In addition to Travis Scott, IShowSpeed also had another recent viral interaction with another massive celebrity: Kevin Durant. This time around, though, it’s much less competitive and much more hilarious. KD looked pretty uncomfortable due to Speed staring at him lovingly during Logan Paul’s ImPaulsive podcast. Of course, an NBA superstar of his caliber must be used to that kind of behavior from fans. But it’s got a different ring to it when that admirer is right up in your face on the same couch as you.

Meanwhile, Travis Scott definitely could’ve been having a lot less fun these days if his Paris arrest went south. But fortunately for him, no charges followed his brief incarceration, and it seems like he won’t deal with it any longer. Let’s see whether or not the “MODERN JAM” artist links up with IShowSpeed again. Whether it’s a rematch or just a regular conversation, we’re sure it’ll have some entertaining moments.
