Tiffany Haddish Stars In Ty Dolla $ign’s “By Yourself” Music Video

Last fall, Ty Dolla $ign released his stacked third studio album Featuring Ty Dolla $ign, and it arrived chock-full of high profile collaborations. The 25-track effort boasted features from Kanye West, Roddy Ricch, Big Sean, Anderson .paak, Kid Cudi, Post Malone, Musiq Soulchild, Kehlani, and several other mainstream music acts. One track that particularly stood out, however, was “By Yourself,” a summery, soul-sampling track featuring Jhené Aiko and Ty’s frequent collaborator Mustard.

iann dior & Trippie Redd Channel “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” Vibes In New Video

Friday, iann dior returned with his first singles of the year as a lead artist and packaged them together under the Still Here EP. The two-pack included the lamenting heartbreak song “don’t wanna believe” as well as the Trippie Redd-featured “shots in the dark.” Since Still Here‘s release, the latter of the two singles has been gaining a considerably bigger amount of steam, so it makes sense that today, iann dior has decided to share the sci-fi visuals for “shots in the dark.”

Loyal fans of iann dior will likely remember that he and Trippie Redd previously collaborated on “gone girl,” a song from iann dior’s 2019 full-length effort Industry Plant, and the two artists went on to release its wonky sci-fi music video that portrayed iann dior and Trippie Redd boarding a rocket to go to outer space. Two years later, the music video for “shots in the dark” picks up where the video for “gone girl” left off.

The visuals for “shots in the dark” begin with an obvious nod to the iconic scene in Star Wars: The Force Awakens in which Fin (played by John Boyega) crashed on a desert planet and popped up into the frame looking absolutely bewildered. From there, the Star Wars references thin out a bit, but iann dior does stumble upon Trippie Redd, who is hilariously wearing regular clothes, in a Star Wars-esque bar.

Head to the top to check out iann dior and Trippie Redd’s new music video for “shots in the dark” and let us know in the comments how you feel about the duo’s ongoing sci-fi video series.

Jhené Aiko Radiates Disco Vibes In 4/20-Friendly “Tryna Smoke” Visual

Her Grammy-nominated album was released over a year ago, but Jhené Aiko is revisiting the project for 4/20. The Los Angeles songbird shared her Chilombo project in March 2020 and it was a celebrated collection that helped her receive a nod from The Recording Academy. She didn’t win this time around, but that doesn’t mean Aiko is finished unleashing visuals from the record.

On this mellow Tuesday (April 20), Jhené delivered the music video for “Tryna Smoke,” a track that is a must-have on anyone’s favorite cannabis-inspired playlist. The visual finds Jhené and her crew linking up for a weed cypher as they inspect their bag of bud and prepare themselves for liftoff. The hazy filter complements the energy as Jhené gives off ’70s-inspired vibes with hot pants, roller skates, and rose-colored glasses.

Watch the visual to Jhené Aiko’s “Tryna Smoke” and share your thoughts.

Megan Thee Stallion & Lil Durk Turn Up At The Strip Club In “Movie” Visual

Megan Thee Stallion’s album Good News was a massive commercial success and it was yet another instance of Meg showing the world exactly what she can do on the mic. She’s one of the most popular women rappers out there and with each new project, she shows some growth. One song that many fans gravitated towards was “Movie” which featured the likes of Lil Durk. At this point, Lil Durk is a cheat code of sorts when it comes to making a hit and this song is no exception.

Now, the music video for the track is finally here and as you can see above, the visual is all about the strip club. Meg’s music has always been filled with sexually empowering lyrics and there is no lack of that here. Her lyrics fit the visual components perfectly, as she and Durk are surrounded by strippers, alcohol, and a whole lot of cash being thrown around. It’s definitely a concept we have seen before although Meg and Durk do a great job bringing it all together.

Let us know what you think of the music video, in the comments below.

Chris Brown Flies In “Go Crazy (Remix)” Video With Lil Durk, Mulatto, & Future

Chris Brown has some of the best music videos in the game. He manages to up the score every time he released a new visual and he successfully did it again with the video for “Go Crazy (Remix)” featuring Future, Lil Durk, and Mulatto.

The remix was released following the tremendous yearlong surge of the original record, which was a collaboration with Young Thug from their Slime & B album. The track quickly became one of Breezy’s most long-lasting successes, impacting the charts for many months. Giving the song its final push, CB has released the official music video for the remix, which sees the superstar artist taking flight from an airplane. Skydiving with the model seated next to him, Chris passed the baton to Lil Durk, who appears during a meeting with his therapist. The rapper eventually realizes that the trained professional is actually a robot when the scene cuts to Mulatto, who’s moving in a bubble room with two dancers. The three women crawl all over the walls before Future is introduced, hanging from a cliff with one arm. Young Thug also makes a short cameo in the video.

Watch the creative new music video for “Go Crazy (Remix)” above and let us know who has your favorite scene. Was it Chris Brown, Mulatto, Future, or Lil Durk?

Russ Runs From His Relationship Issues In “Bankrupt” Visual

He said this track is the perfect companion on a long drive, and now Russ is taking “Bankrupt” on the road in his latest visual. The thriving independent artist recently shared the slow-burning, melancholy single and on Wednesday (April 14), he delivered the cinematic music video. The tone of the clip matches the energy of the song as Russ seems to be trying to get as far away from his problems, or ex, as possible, but at every turn, he continues to reach out.

In other Russ news, the rapper-singer recently revealed his cannabis line with Wonderbrett. His CHOMP line is named after his rap-heavy EP he shared last year and is said to be a creative strain that will help musicians in the studio. That drop came on the heels of the news that he’s rescheduled his Shake The Snow Globe Tour for 2022. Check out the music video for Russ’s “Bankrupt” and let us know what you think.

BROCKHAMPTON’s “Count On Me” Visual Stars Lil Nas X & Dominic Fike

We have Lil Nas X news that doesn’t involve Satan shoes or “MONTERO” being stripped from streaming services. BROCKHAMPTON recently released their album ROADRUNNER: NEW LIGHT, NEW MACHINE, one of two projects that they plan on delivering this year. Their “COUNT ON ME” single has been a favorite among fans, so it’s only appropriate for them to drop off a music video that stars the likes of Lil Nas X and Dominic Fike. The visual opens with the two artists making their way into the woods before things start to take a strange turn.

In true BROCKHAMPTON fashion, everything becomes a tad trippy as the visuals begin to warp. Things get frisky between Nas X and Fike, as well, as they are seen getting close and making out in a few steamy scenes. The visual ends on a brain-melting note as NasX and Fike’s animated nude bodies intertwine. “I guess i’m a video vixen now,” Lil Nas X tweeted. Check out the music video for “COUNT ON ME” and let us know what you think.
