New features and enhancements for The WNBA in NBA® 2K23 for PlayStation® 5 (PS5TM) and Xbox Series X|S gamers were announced by 2K today. The W will provide further brand-new content, community challenges, and new ways to manage the league’s growth.
“The WNBA is quickly growing and evolving, and we are ensuring that we also expand the breadth and scope of The W mode to bring fans of the WNBA more ways to experience it,” said Felicia Steenhouse, Senior Producer at Visual Concepts. “This year The W provides an even more authentic WNBA experience that players can enjoy, from choosing how to expand the league to leading the community to new heights.”
The W mode will have community goals, which the community can cooperate to achieve six weekly goals. Every NBA 2K23 player will be rewarded if the community meets the objective in four of the Season’s six weeks.

PGA TOUR® 2K23, the upcoming installment in the golf simulation video game series by HB Studios, has a tee time thanks to 2K. The release dates for PGA TOUR 2K23 Deluxe Edition and PGA TOUR 2K23 Tiger Woods Edition are set for Tuesday, October 11, 2022, and Friday, October 14, 2022, respectively. Tiger Woods is the cover athlete for the PGA TOUR 2K23 video game, which honors his career by including him as a playable in-game pro as well as an Executive Director who provides guidance to the game’s production team.
“It’s not only great to be back on the cover of a video game, but the Executive Director role makes this a truly unique opportunity,” said Tiger Woods. “2K is the perfect partner for me and I am excited to continue impacting the game and culture of golf beyond my play on the PGA TOUR.”
More than 14 male and female professionals, including Justin Thomas, Lexi Thompson, Tony Finau, Lydia Ko, Collin Morikawa, Will Zalatoris, Brooke Henderson, and others, are on Woods’ roster at launch*. In Exhibition, multiplayer, and Divot Derby play, players can take the tee as a pro, or in PGA TOUR MyCAREER mode, they can compete against pros to go up the leaderboard and win the FedExCup. Along with the professionals, Rich Beem, Luke Elvy, and English golf broadcaster Henni Koyack return for their broadcast-style presentation and analysis.
20 authorized courses will be available when PGA TOUR 2K23 is released. The South Course at Wilmington Country Club, The Renaissance Club, St. George’s Golf and Country Club, among others, are recent additions. Additionally, the market-dominating Course Designer is back, giving players the chance to create their ideal courses and share them with a large online community.
Players may outfit their MyPLAYERS like Tiger by purchasing Nike Golf, TaylorMade, and Bridgestone Golf attire and equipment. MyPLAYER customisation is back. Licensed clothing alternatives from companies including Callaway Golf, FootJoy, Malbon Golf, Nike Golf, PUMA, Titleist, TravisMathew, and others are also offered. Players may fill their golf bags with clubs and balls from companies like Bridgestone Golf, Callaway Golf, COBRA, Mizuno, Odyssey Golf, Scotty Cameron, TaylorMade, Titleist, and Wilson to keep them swinging with style. A three-click swing option is also offered for an additional level of customization so that players can play as they want in addition to the reintroduced analog stick swing.
While providing seasoned players with fresh challenges and chances to hone their skills, PGA TOUR 2K23 delivers new casual modes to help newcomers get into the game. With the launch of Topgolf, gamers now have a unique opportunity to simulate the well-known golf entertainment craze and compete for the greatest score. The various methods for skill development available in training mode include swing calibration, classes, chipping practice, a driving range, and a putting green.

The details and modifications coming to MyNBA* in NBA® 2K23 for PlayStation® 5 (PS5TM) and Xbox Series X|S gamers were revealed by 2K today. With the help of newly introduced Eras and NBA heroes and historic teams, you have the power to alter the entire course of NBA history.

Players have access to a time machine through MyNBA that enables them to start a new MyNBA save at a particular period in NBA history known as an Era. Players have the option of playing through single or with friends, and they can choose to either relive or redo significant scenes, including the Magic v Bird Era, The Jordan Era, the Kobe Era, and coming to The Modern Era.

Fresh off delivering a banger to Beyonce’s Renaissance in “THIQUE” and lacing The Game with some heat for Drillmatic, Hit-Boy is taking his talent to video games.
Madden NFL 23 has announced Hit-Boy as the curator for the video game’s soundtrack. The game releases this Friday and will feature a series of tracks hand-selected by the star producer.
Artists included in the game are Kendrick Lamar, Ty Dolla $ign, Cordae, and more. Hit-Boy will also contribute 33 new beats for the in-game experience.
“Madden been one of my great loves since day one,” Hit-Boy said. “Like music, I just couldn’t escape my obsession for the game. The way it brought to life the sights and sounds and feelings of a Sunday. The unforgettable music the game gave us.”

The Jordan Challenge mode for NBA® 2K23 has been updated with additional information and features, according to 2K. 15 selectable moments from Michael Jordan’s career are included in the game mode, allowing players to experience his history from his days as a collegiate star up until his game-winning jumper in the 1998 NBA Finals.
“The Jordan Challenge is an immersive experience unlike anything NBA 2K fans have seen, completely rebuilding the challenges from 2K11 and adding five new moments,” said Erick Boenisch, VP of NBA Development at Visual Concepts. “Our team took everything into consideration when constructing this game mode; the arenas, the players, the uniforms, the broadcast, and the play style of the era have been accounted for in an effort to give fans a truly authentic and unique playable Jordan experience.”
The Jordan Challenge features magnificent recreations of bygone eras, from the 1982 NCAA National Championship to the 1998 NBA Finals, as well as classic NBA moments and in-game advancements. Each challenge includes a pre-game interview with a famous person who contributed to what makes each game unique. A comprehensive presentational package that recreates the television experience of these games as they were originally broadcast during the 1980s and 1990s, showcasing the look, feel, and sound that transports players back to the original game, is available. This presentational package includes a complexly designed video filter system.
In addition, there are new distinctive style upgrades for legendary greats like Magic Johnson and Larry Bird, as well as increased physicality modeled on the court and in the paint, are included. These upgrades include all-new jump shot, layup, and slam packages.

The next installment of the Grand Theft Auto games will feature a female lead and less controversial humor. Grand Theft Auto 6 will feature its first ever leading lady, who will be Latina as part of a main duo inspired by the infamous Bonnie and Clyde.
The game’s developers, Rockstar Games, are also reportedly planning on cutting down on the amount of racist or misogynistic jokes. A report released by Rockstar Games said they are being cautious to not “punch down” on certain minority groups, according to Bloomberg.
The Grand Theft games have often gained controversy for their use of violent and explicit content, and many fans have taken to the internet to express their displeasure with the changes.
The game’s development has been slow going, and a release date for GTA VI is expected sometime after 2024.

Devin Booker, a shooting guard for the Phoenix Suns, is a three-time NBA All-Star and a member of the 2021–22 Kia All–NBA First Team, will be on this year’s Standard Edition and cross-gen Digital Deluxe Edition.
