Nicki Minaj Goes Off On Reporter For Allegedly Smelling Like “French Fries” And “Hot ASS”

Nicki Minaj went off on a reporter on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday after he asked her a question about “unity.” She had been speaking with DTLR radio host Fadam Got Da Juice when she argued that everyone will always have disagreements with one another. “Do we have unity amongst human beings? Like, if its eight billion people in the world, imagine thinking all eight billion people gon’ get along with each other,” Minaj explained. “I used to be a waitress. It was a bunch of people not getting along in there. I mean, no matter where you go, you’re going to be at odds with people. I think the point, though, is when you get to a place where nothing around you affects what’s inside of you.”

When Elliott Wilson congratulated him on landing the interview, he wrote back: “She ducked the smoke on the question man. I had to take the shot though.” Minaj eventually caught a repost of the comment online and wrote in response: “The obsession. Only thing I ducked was his fkng breath. Smelled like a double portion of 4 wings & some french fries hot ASS & ketchup n****.”

YG Leads Peace Walk With Rival Gang Members

YG organized a peace walk with rival gang members in his hometown of Compton on Sunday in an effort to promote peace and unity. Members of the Treetop Pirus and Fruit Town Pirus, who have been feuding for years, were both in attendance. The Game also showed up to support the Just Re’d Up 3 rapper.

“We came together. My hood and the Fruit Town Pirus across the street, we’ve been at war for, like, the last 10 years. We just enemies. So I felt like we all needed to come together and walk down our main street,” he told TMZ. “We all from Piru so we don’t really need to be beefing with each other. We’ve been doing that sh*t for years so it’s time to like… if we can clean it, clean it up. There’s been a lot of conversations about that sh*t so I put some energy towards it and we got it right.” He concluded: “It’s successful. All love and positive. We outside.” Together, the group stopped by Tam’s Burgers for a meal.

YG’s peace walk isn’t the first effort to promote unity this year. Back in June, Kendrick Lamar hosted The Pop Out – Ken & Friends with a similar goal in mind. “Aye, we ain’t never had this. We put this sh*t all together for motherf*ckin’ peace,” he said on stage at the event. “This sh*t is making me emotional, man. We’ve been f*cked up since Nipsey died. We’ve been f*cked up since Kobe died. Let the world see this. You ain’t seen this many sections on one stage keeping it together and having peace.” He brought out members of several rival gangs.

Remy Ma Says Female Rap Unity Started With Her, But Fans Aren’t Buying It

It’s been a few years since Remy Ma and Nicki Minaj were battling over wax, so much so that they both have bigger fish to fry at the moment. However, the former believes that she was among the first to really introduce the concept of female rap unity with her 2017 set at the Hot 97 Summer Jam. During that, she invited multiple other female rappers to come out and perform Queen Latifah’s classic hit “U.N.I.T.Y.” However, many fans didn’t really vibe with this statement, since the show was also heavily directed against Nicki herself. In addition, Queen did unity first, as Remy literally proved by paying homage during this performance.

“Catfight every time you turn around,” Remy Ma’s remarks began about starting female rap unity. “I feel like that’s something that, when I first came home and I started recording again, that I really aspired to be a part of and to make happen. I kind of feel like it started when we did Summer Jam that year. It was me, Latifah, Lyte, Cardi, Young M.A., Kim, Monie Love, Yo-Yo. Everybody -– Rah Digga -– from all the different generations. The past, the present, and the future on the same stage.

Fans Question Remy Ma’s Female Rap Unity Claims: See Comments

“From there, I feel like that kind of opened up the doors,” Remy Ma continued. “Not just for the artists themselves, but for people to see. I feel like people didn’t know they could have this many people that they like at one time. I even see it now even with some of the fans, because it used to be that everyone had their own fanbase. But now you see the fanbases combining. You know, it’s not just one or two anymore. That’s kind of what we need because of what I’ve been saying for years, before I got locked up, before I went away. Yo, it’s enough money.”

Regardless of the circumstances behind Summer Jam, what do you think about these comments? How do you think they fit into the current femcee landscape of today, especially as it relates to beef?
