Kanye West And Ty Dolla $ign To Host Two More Listening Parties In Italy

Last week, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign finally dropped their new album VULTURES 1. The project was teased for months as one release date after another passed. Eventually it was announced that the project would be split into three volumes. The first chance fans had to hear the final project came during a listening party the duo threw in Chicago that fans online could also pay to tune into.

Despite the album now having already been released, they just announced some new listening parties to play it for fans in person. The two shows will bring VULTURES to Italy later this month. The first event will take place in Milan on February 22. The second will take place in Bologna a few days later on February 24. Some fans may want to attend a listening party with the future of the album’s availability on streaming services in question. The album was absent from Apple Music for multiple hours earlier this week following a dispute with the distributor for the project.

Kanye West Taking “VULTURES” To Italy

For fans who want to hear the duo perform the songs from VULTURES 1 rather than just listening to the album, they just made a big announcement. The pair will be headlining Rolling Loud California later this year. While there, the pair are likely to make the live debuts of many of the songs from the album. One of the songs on the album is currently unavailable on streaming. “GOOD (DON’T DIE)” was subject to a copyright claim made by the estate of Donna Summer.

It wasn’t the only issue taken with the album’s sampling. Ozzy Osbourne personally tweeted at West for using an uncleared sample during one of the listening parties. The sample in question was eventually replaced on the album itself. What do you think of Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign hosting more listening parties for VULTURES 1 even though it’s already be released? Do you think the album will be able to stay on streaming services permanently? Let us know in the comment section below.

Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign’s “VULTURES 1” Removed From Apple Music Amid Distribution Issues

Hours ago, there was a real possibility that Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s joint effort VULTURES 1 could be taken down from streaming services again. When the album initially came out, it made onto every DSP except Spotify. Shortly after fans got a chance to hear the record, it was suddenly off Apple Music without any explanation. Now, those suspicions were proven to be correct. If you head over to Apple Music right now, VULTURES 1 will have all of its songs removed.

The reason why numerous sources were predicting this was because the distributor of the record, FUGA, wanted it to be taken down. A client of theirs went above their word and helped release the record. According to Billboard, they received a direct message from a FUGA spokesperson. “A long-standing FUGA client delivered the album VULTURES 1 through the platform’s automated processes, violating our service agreement. Therefore, FUGA is actively working with its DSP partners and the client to remove VULTURES 1 from our systems.”

Well, their goal was achieved as Apple Music is without the record. However, at the time of writing, the record is still on Spotify and Amazon Music. The outlook for Ye and Ty’s album was already gloomy, especially with all of the copyright issues with sample clearances. That is especially true of the feuds with Ozzy Osbourne and Donna Summer. There is no telling what will happen to the rest of the DSPs, so enjoy it while you can.

What are your thoughts on Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s album, VULTURES 1, being taken down from Apple Music exclusively? Do you think it will be back on the platform soon or at all? Will this affect the next two installments, why or why not? What are your opinions on VULTURES 1 and why? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign Single Pulled from Streaming After Complaint From Donna Summer’s Estate

Ye and Ty Dolla $ign Release Trailer for "Vultures" Video and Announces Three Release Dates

You won’t be able to stream Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign’s “Good (Don’t Die)” on Spotify. The single was removed from the app following a Donna Summer Estate complaint.

According to Billboard, the single interpolated parts of Summer’s 1977 “I Feel Love.” After the release, the estate claimed copyright infringement and disapproved of the use.

“Kanye West… asked permission to use Donna Summer’s song I Feel Love, he was denied… he changed the words, had someone re sing it or used AI but it’s I Feel Love… copyright infringement!!!” the estate wrote online.

Earlier in the week, Ozzy Osbourne revealed he would not clear a sample for Ye and Ty Dolla Sign because the former was an “antisemite.”

The newly released album “Vultures” has already garnered significant popularity shortly after its release, sparking curiosity about how much the artists have managed to earn on music platforms in this brief period. According to the comparison team at CasinoSpotNL, on Spotify, Ty Dolla $ign’s top favorite tracks include “CARNIVAL” with 20,882,946 streams, “TALKING” with 15,416,080 streams, and “FUK SUMN” with 14,608,812 streams, collectively earning $205,776.93. This remarkable achievement is from just one music platform and only three tracks.

“Vultures”: A History Of Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign Collaborations

After pushed-back release dates and cryptic posts, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign released their collab album Vultures 1 on Friday, February 9. Over the past few years, Kanye has been consistent with having unconventional or in some cases, inconvenient releases. For this one, the album was only on Apple Music for hours. It took hours to appear on Spotify, pulled from Apple Music then re-uploaded with a slightly different album cover. The album’s release was preceded by several listening parties that were open to the public. This has been Kanye’s method for the last few years which has gotten mixed reception due to the often chaotic outcome.

This collab album from Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign comes after years of developing their chemistry. The first time they worked together on wax was in 2015. However, the subsequent collaborations honed into various styles so fans went into the album with a rather open mind. These collabs had a variety of production styles and tones so listeners went into the new album with open minds on how it would sound. Ye and Ty Dolla $ign’s ability to perform on a variety of prediction styles is a testament to their skill and range as artists. We’re looking at some of their collabs across the years and how they led to their collab album.

2015-2016: Free TC & The Life Of Pablo

One could say that Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign have been day one collaborators. They worked together on Ty Dolla $ign’s debut album Free TC which was released in 2015. Their collaborative track “Guard Down” was an emotional effort that paved the way for their collab on Kanye’s The Life Of Pablo on the track “Real Friends.” This TLOP track was even more emotional as Kanye shared glimpses into his personal life on the track. During 2016, Kanye posted several tracklists for The Life of Pablo – originally titled SWISH – and “Real Friends” was there every time.

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign also collaborated on another song from The Life of Pablo titled “Fade” which also featured Post Malone. This track found the duo on a house sample, something that audiences did not expect. In an interview with W Magazine, Ty$ spoke on how the song came to be. “We came up with that song in five minutes—the lyrics and the idea. He did the beat on the spot, like from scratch. It was really dope.”

Prior to Pablo, Ty Dolla Sign landed writing credits on two surprise releases from Ye, “FourFiveSeconds” and “Only One.” In an interview with Billboard, Ty$ spoke about the process of creating the tracks with Ye: “[In] like 24 hours, [we recorded] seven songs or nine songs that day…He was open to my input, like, ‘do whatever you want to do. Here’s your mic. Do you need anything?’ I’m like ‘Awesome! Let’s get it!’”

2018: The Wyoming Sessions

Ty Dolla $ign is one of the main people who ventured to Wyoming to record with Kanye for The Wyoming Sessions. Ty Dolla $ign made appearances on two of the five albums from these sessions. He has writing credits and provided vocals for Kanye’s album Ye and did vocals for his collab album with Kid Cudi, KIDS SEE GHOSTS.

In an interview with HipHopDX, he spoke on how the Wyoming sessions went and how he admired Ye’s process during them. “I went up there for two days and did every song that you heard from all those projects…It was a movie out there. He [Kanye] always picks dope locations to record from…It was basically his bedroom where he had the studio set up and it was overlooking this big-ass field and all these mountains. It was beautiful…”

2019-2020: JESUS IS KING & Featuring Ty Dolla $ign

Several of the songs Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign made had some emotional weight to them. Many have likened Ty Dolla $ign’s vocals to a gospel singer’s whenever he links up with Ye. Evidently, their collaborative streak continued once Ty Dolla $ign appeared on Ye’s gospel album JESUS IS KING. “Everything We Need” went through a variety of changes but Ty$’s vocals stayed on them through the track’s entire transformation process. The original title of the track was “The Storm” and allegedly came from the sessions for the scrapped Kanye album, Yandhi.

Then, Kanye West made two appearances on Ty Dolla $ign’s creatively titled album, Featuring Ty Dolla $ign. These came on “Track 6” and “Ego Death.” The latter finds the duo – along with vocals from FKA Twigs and production from Skrillex – rapping and singing on a groovy house-esque beat. Boogzadabeast and Ty Dolla $ign himself also have production credits on the song. Meanwhile, “Track 6,” was another song where different versions with different people contributing to it. One demo version made its rounds online as “Thank You Vol. 2” and actually featured Kid Cudi. Some sources have stated the track was originally created for the KIDS SEE GHOSTS album.

2021: Donda

Donda is another unique release in Kanye’s discography that Ty Dolla $ign appears on. He appears on “Junya pt 2” which is a different version of “Junya.” The only thing different from the original is Ty$’s verse being on it. This track is one of several “pt 2” versions on the deluxe edition of Donda. With Kanye and Ty$’s history at this point, it seemed right to still have him be on the album in some form instead of leaving his verse on the cutting room floor.

2024: Vultures

Often during Kanye West’s outbursts, rants, monologues, etc, he names specific people. When he does this, he’s either condemning them, praising them or comparing himself to them. Ultimately, Ty Dolla $ign has remained in Ye’s good graces throughout it all and vice versa. Despite the controversies, Ty Dolla $ign didn’t stray from Ye’s side, leading to the release of their collaborative album.

While it’s almost guaranteed that working with Kanye would be anything but smooth sailing, Ty Dolla $ign remained committed to the process and provided fans with updates since they told fans Vultures would be “coming soon” in November 2023. Though the album faced a multitude of setbacks, the two came together strong on the first installment in their series of projects. With two more volumes in the trilogy reportedly coming, only time will tell if this remains the case going forward. There’s also allegedly another solo Kanye album coming and listeners are wondering if Ty$ will be on that one too or rather, if any songs from the Vultures sessions will appear on that album.

The Best Features On Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign’s “Vultures”

This past weekend, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign unleashed their debut collaborative album, Vultures 1. After a rocky rollout of listening parties and constant changes, including its release date, the album materialized with 16 tracks and a brand-new cover. Officially titled Vultures 1, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s full-length collaboration is reportedly the first of three separate volumes, with Part 2 expected to arrive on March 8 and Part 3 on April 5. These dates are to be considered in the context of Kanye’s notable history of delaying album releases. Vultures 1 may be a collaborative album between Kanye and Ty, but the duo also recruited numerous other guests throughout its tracklist. Today, we are ranking the best features on Vultures 1 from least to greatest.

5. “Talking” – North West

Featured on “Talking” is none other than Kanye West’s 10-year-old daughter, North West. She may be young and her appearance on the album is short, but her contributions are better than many other professional recording artists featured on Vultures 1. Her feature is not to be judged like the other musicians on the album, as she is simply having fun on the song. North’s quick verse is cheerful, catchy, and a wholesome moment between her and her father. She even emulates Kanye with her inflections and melodic rapping. Again, North West’s feature is meant to be a lively moment on a song about fatherhood.

4. “Do It” – YG

“Do It” includes a short posthumous intro from Nipsey Hussle, as well as a guest verse from YG. The Compton native sticks to Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s lyrical themes of sex and money but has a moment to shine on his own. A prominent sample of Juvenile’s “Back That Azz Up” gets incorporated into the fast-paced instrumental as YG spits his verse. His West Coast gangsta rap style is perfect for the beat as he skips right across it. The addition of the sample makes his feature more effective, complimenting his flow and lyrics. Also, his and Ty Dolla $ign’s chemistry and deep collaborative history make for a standout moment on Vultures 1.

3. “Paperwork” – Quavo

Quavo has worked with Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign on separate occasions. This time, they recruited the Migos member for “Paperwork,” a bizarre blend of hip hop and Brazilian funk. The production is quite abrasive with its distorted bassline, but Quavo’s auto-tuned melodies and ad-libs cut right through the beat. Out of the three, he sounds the most comfortable over the instrumental, floating over it with a catchy melody. Quavo often sounds great over light and airy production, but on “Paperwork,” he sits right on top of the beat as he provides his signature melodic bars.

2. “Beg Forgiveness” – Chris Brown

Chris Brown is one of the standout features on Vultures 1. He and Kanye previously created magic on “Waves,” and he worked with Ty Dolla $ign on tracks like “Only 4 Me.” “Beg Forgiveness” is a six-minute highlight that allows him to occupy the spotlight alongside Ty. His acapella introduction starts the song on a heartfelt note. Futher, “Beg Forgiveness” builds around Chris Brown’s pitched-down vocals, matching the spacious production. Before Ty tests himself vocally towards the end of the song, Brown occupies the almost first three minutes with a rendition of Joe Goddard’s “Gabriel.” It makes for easily the album’s most soulful and musically compelling moment.

1. “Back To Me” – Freddie Gibbs

By a wide margin, Freddie Gibbs has the best verse on Vultures 1. While Kanye spends most of the song talking about how “beautiful, big t*tty, butt-naked women just don’t fall out the sky,” Gibbs completely reimagines this ridiculous refrain. He makes the song his own, smoothly flowing over the hard-hitting drum break. Freddie repurposes Kanye’s lyrics into a skillfully-crafted verse. He not only sounds good but drops some clever punchlines as well. Gibbs raps, “Just turned a bird b*tch to my ex like I was Elon” and “Standin’ at the plate, your ho catchin’ balls like a bat catcher.” He even switches his flows and rhyme schemes, impressing as he transitions between each line. Gibbs completely stole the show with his verse on “Back to Me,” outshining every other feature on Vultures 1.

Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign Drop “Vultures 1” Amid Tons Of Controversy

Vultures 1 is finally in fans’ grasp. After months and months of pushback and tweaks, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign have just dropped their eagerly-awaited collaborative album. Once thought to be a singular project, is now three volumes. This was announced back in late January with releases dates of February 9, March 8, and April 5. Many were expecting the first entry to drop on Friday. However, this is Kanye West we are talking about.

Naturally, fans were upset but not surprised by this. But, the reason for this was due to those reworks we mentioned. After the Chicago listening party, Ye and Ty made some last minute adjustments before the New York showcase hence the Saturday release date. This has all caused an uproar, particularly with Black Sabbath legend Ozzy Osbourne. Sampling clearing has been another big issue with Vultures as a whole, not just this first installment. However, Kanye removed the once-believed “War Pigs” sample from “Carnival” featuring Playboi Carti and Rich The Kid.

Listen To Vultures 1 By Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign

The actual sample was from “Iron Man,” according to Rolling Stone. If all of this turmoil was not enough, Spotify listeners are really having a rough go of it right now. Vultures 1 is out on Apple Music, Tidal, Amazon Music, Deezer, but not arguably the biggest of them all. As you can see above, it is becoming a trend on X (formerly Twitter) as people are hilariously poking fun at the users of the streaming giant. There is no true reason as to why it is not there yet, but hopefully it will be up later today. There is still so much to come from HNHH about Vultures 1, so be sure to stick around.

North West Impresses Fans With Her Drawing Of Kanye West And Ty Dolla Sign

North West is already no stranger to the public eye. That comes through her appearances at fashion events, basketball games, and other events alongside her celebrity parents. It also comes from her joint TikTok account with Kim Kardashian where it seems like everything they post goes viral. She’s used that platform to share some of her art over the past year. First, she impressed fans with a drawing of Ice Spice, whom North is notoriously a fan of. She followed it up with a painting that’s pretty impressive for such a young artist.

Now her newest art piece is making the rounds online. It’s a drawing of her dad, Kanye West. Also included in the drawing is Ty Doll $ign, who West has been paling around with quite a bit recently. North shared a pencil drawing of the pair that is impressively convincing. In the comments of a tweet sharing the work, fans shared their admiration for her artwork. “No lie she Drew her pops kinda decent” one response reads. “She’s good!” another agrees. Check out the full drawing below.

The album was first announced last year with its first planned release date in December. Shortly after the announcement, a version of the album leaked online which likely led to the numerous delays it’s gone through since.

Now, West and Ty Dolla $ign are planning on releasing three full volumes of the album. The first volume is due out next month on February 9, with the next two volumes following in March and April. Despite the announcement and a formal trailer even accompanying it, any fans are still skeptical that the projects will be released on time now. Kanye West’s Money Troubles Continue With Millions In New Taxes And Lawsuit

Kanye West has a long history of financial instability for somebody with such a high profile. Rumors of his debt have gone back years and reportedly date all the way back to the music video for his 2005 single “Touch The Sky.” Now amid a myriad of other problems for the rapper including multiple lawsuits and accountability for some of the statements and actions he’s made in recent years. And piling on top of it all is even more money troubles.

West is reportedly on the hook for more than $1 million in unpaid taxes in the state of California. The taxes come from a pair of places starting with his Yeezy brand and two properties he owns in the state. On top of that pile of owed taxes, West is also now subject to a $4.5 million lawsuit from his former business manager Thomas St. John. West reportedly hired him as a financial advisor in 2022 and signed an 18-month contract. But after 3 months St. John was abruptly fired. Now he’s suing the rapper for breaching their contract and seeking all of his unpaid wages.

Kanye West’s Tax And Lawsuit Burdens

That might have sometime to do with why the album wasn’t released on its previously announced New Year’s Eve date. It has also now had its next release date of January 12 deleted.
