Bruce Arians Admits Tom Brady’s Divorce Impacted Buccaneers’ 2022 Struggles

Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians says that Tom Brady’s divorce from Gisele Bundchen played a role in the team’s struggles in 2022. Less than two years removed from a victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LV, the Bucs went just 9-8 while barely making the playoffs. Arians spoke about the tumultuous season during a recent appearance on The Rich Eisen Show.

Arians explained that injuries to key players had a major impact as well, but that he couldn’t recognize Tom Brady on the field. “The injuries to our leaders was really, really hard,” Arians said. “Tom wasn’t himself, you know, with all the things that were going on. And I got to give him all the credit in the world for battling through what he went through last year for his teammates. I think the world of him but it wasn’t the real Tom Brady out there.” Arians coached Brady from 2020-2021. He stepped away from coaching but remained with the organization as a Senior Football Consultant the following year.

Arians also says that Brady’s latest retirement will be his last. “I definitely think so,” Arians said regarding Brady’s retirement. “He’s spent a lot of time with his kids and just heading to the next chapter. He’s got so many things going on, you know, he’s one busy dude.” Brady previously claimed to be retiring in 2022, but reneged on his decision, returning to the Bucs for one more season. The decision is believed to be a factor in Bundchen’s divorce.

Brady finished the year with 4,694 yards, 25 touchdowns, and 9 interceptions. The team lost to the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs. He announced on social media he was retiring “for good” on February 1. Brady retires as arguably the greatest quarterback in the history of the NFL. He’s eligible for the Pro Football Hall of Fame starting in 2028.

Gisele Bündchen Celebrates Carnival In Brazil

Gisele Bündchen has been living her best life since her divorce from Tom Brady. In late October, the longtime couple called it quits on their marriage. Brady, who was entering his 23rd season in the NFL, seemingly chose football over Gisele. Instead of sticking to his 2022 retirement and living life with his wife and kids, he went back to football for one more season. Gisele decided that she needed to make decisions for her own happiness too. The divorce soon led to Bündchen doing many enjoyable things as a bachelorette. This included buying a new mansion, making red-carpet appearances, cozying up to her jiu-jitsu instructor, and more.

However, recent reports suggested that Brady plans to win Gisele back. Sources from Radar Online said around Valentine’s Day that Brady is taking a year to try to “get his family back.” He is slated to begin a new broadcasting job at FOX in 2024. But before then, he wants to win back his ex-wife. “The biggest obstacle between them was Gisele’s complaints about Tom was putting football before family, so he decided to show her he’s willing to focus on them before taking the job at FOX,” sources said.

Throughout all of his drama, Bündchen made an exciting trip back to her home country. The Brazilian model took a trip this week to Carnival back home, which is taking place in Brazil from Feb. 17-Feb 25. She first revealed this in an Instagram post on Feb. 20 while wearing a scintillating crop top and white pants. “It was so special to return to Carnival and honor this beautiful celebration of our Brazilian culture,” she wrote. While it is unclear how long Gisele plans to stay in Brazil, the 42-year-old appears to be living it up. So, Tom Brady will need to show her life with him can be just as fun as her current single stint.

Along with Gisele Bündchen, a few other celebrities have been hitting Carnival celebrations as well. Rap queen Nicki Minaj returned to Trinidad and Tobago for Carnival celebrations this week as well. Along with Nicki, actor Damson Idris also took a trip to the islands for Carnival. It seems like mid-to-late February is a huge celebration time for many countries, with even some of their most esteemed celebrities joining in the fun.

Tom Brady Under Fire Over Janet Jackson Wardrobe Malfunction Comments

Tom Brady has played in a lot of Super Bowls throughout his historic career. In fact, he has played in a grand total of 10 of them. Overall, he has won seven, which is an incredible record. Many of his Super Bowl appearances have been historic, for many reasons. His second Super Bowl was particularly historic, although not for the best reasons. That is because Janet Jackson had a wardrobe malfunction during the halftime show with Justin Timberlake. Subsequently, Jackson received a ton of backlash while Timberlake received nothing. As for Brady, his Patriots went on to win against the Carolina Panthers.

During the most recent episode of his Let’s Go podcast, Brady was asked about the Jackson moment. Although the whole world saw it take place, Brady really only found out about it after the game. However, he acknowledges just how big of a moment it was. That said, Brady doesn’t seem to think of it from Jackson’s perspective. In his eyes, this was simply just a huge moment for the NFL.

“It took a while for us to figure out exactly what had gone on,” Brady said. “I think in the end, it was probably a good thing for the NFL because everyone got to talk about it, and it was just more publicity and more publicity for halftime shows. Is any publicity bad publicity? That’s what they say, so, who knows?” Following these comments, Brady was immediately criticized on Twitter for his take. After all, these remarks came across as misinformed given everything Jackson went through. “Janet Jackson faced public humiliation and outright misogynoir resulting in her getting blacklisted by the former CEO of CBS, but Tom Brady thinks all of that was ok because all publicity is good publicity,” one user noted.

In the other responses below, you could tell that people were upset with what Brady had to say. To this day, Janet Jackson is still dealing with the fallout from that halftime show. Tom Brady Reportedly Has A Plan To Win Back Gisele

Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen have been divorced for a few months at this point. Overall, it appears as though these two ended up splitting due to Brady’s obsession with football. After retiring from the sport last Spring, the two seemed to be doing well. However, Brady changed course and came back to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tom Brady is currently enjoying retirement right now. Just a few weeks ago, Brady took to social media where he revealed that he would no longer be playing football. The quote reads “Love is not a transaction, it is a certain exuberance and sweetness of your emotion.” For now, it remains to be seen whether or not this was a subliminal message to Gisele. Although, it is clear that Brady has some unique opinions on what love is. Love is one of those concepts that has a whole plethora of different definitions. Joe Montana’s Negative Feelings Towards Tom Brady Revealed

Joe Montana used to be the greatest quarterback of all time. Overall, he has four Super Bowl titles and he acquired those rings in a short amount of time. Furthermore, he went to four Super Bowls, which means he never lost in the big game. It was a true testament to just how great of a player he was, especially under pressure. As soon as Brady got his fifth title, it became clear that Tom Brady deserved to be the number one guy. After all, he had more touchdowns than Montana at the time. Moreover, he has thrown for more yards and has way more completions. While they did play in different eras, it became clear that Brady was the guy you would want in a game to win it all. That said, one can imagine there is a bit of resentment from Montana towards Brady. This could be characterized in the same vein as what Kareem Abdul-Jabbar feels toward LeBron James.

According to reporter Wright Thompson, that resentment is, indeed, real. When Wright was asked about how Montana feels about Brady passing him in Super Bowls, the answer was simple: “he hates it.” Thompson went on to say that it all has to do with some jealous feelings about no longer being the GOAT. Montana is just that competitive and wishes he was still the one on top. “He’s less jealous of the rings, than he is of the fact he gets to watch someone else gets to live the life that got ripped from him,” Thompson said.

Now, Brady will get to enjoy being the GOAT in retirement. Unless Patrick Mahomes performs some miracles, Brady will not be dethroned for a very long time. Going back to Sanders, he was recently asked an interesting question about Brady. Essentially, reporters wanted to know if he thinks anyone will ever win seven rings again. Simply put, Sanders thinks it is impossible, according to Yahoo! Sports. His reasoning is due to the fact that players don’t take pay cuts to help the roster like they used to. “The reason it won’t happen for quite some time is that … we are at a financial state that I don’t believe that a guy is going to be as humble as Tom Brady and work with his team and take less (money), Sanders said. “This culture wants every darn dime they can get. You have to sacrifice some things to get to be in that position and I don’t think this culture is ready to make those sacrifices.”

Sanders definitely makes an interesting point here. Teams with high-paid quarterbacks have had some issues as of late. Tom Brady Believes He Can Still Play

Tom Brady has officially retired from the NFL, and he has made it clear that he will not be coming back. Overall, this was a huge decision that not everyone was expecting. For instance, some felt like it was a given that he would end up going to the Las Vegas Raiders. Tom Brady retired from the NFL last week, and now, he has all the free time in the world. Today, he decided to post a thirst trap, and overall, people are feeling as if Brady is already bored. However, it doesn’t seem as though Brady is rushing to cure that boredom. He has made it painfully clear that he has no plans for the immediate future. From dating to his professional life, Brady would rather just chill at home than really go out and do anything significant. As many fans already know, Brady is set to make $37.5 million per year, over 10 years with Fox Sports. This will ultimately have him in the booth doing color commentary like Tony Romo. This is a job that is perfect for Brady, although it is clear that he is no intentions of starting soon. In fact, Brady recently gave Colin Cowherd an exact timeline of when he intends to take the job.

So, even in the future I want to be great at what I do and that always takes some time and strategizing and learning and growing and evolving.”

Overall, it is hard to blame Brady for this. Being a broadcaster is a whole lot of work, and you don’t want to resent your job because you didn’t take enough time off.
