Stepson Of Missing Titanic Submersible Passenger Fires Back At Cardi B: “Shame On You”

Brian Szasz, the stepson of British billionaire Hamish Harding, who is one of the passengers on the missing submersible vehicle that went to explore the Titanic, has fired back at Cardi B on Twitter after the rapper called him out. Szasz made headlines for attending a Blink-182 concert while his stepfather is still missing. Cardi criticized the decision during a post on social media. On Wednesday, Szasz fired back.

“People was like, ‘Well, what is he supposed to do? Be sad at the house? Is he supposed to go look for him?’ Yes,” Cardi wrote in her initial tweet. She added that he should “be at the house, sad,” and should “be crying for me.”

Szasz responded: “@iamcardib What a pos trashy celeb. Cardi B trying to get clout off me and my families suffering. I went to a Blink 182 concert for coping rather than sitting at home and watching the news. Shame on you Cardi get some class!” He added in another tweet, “Cardi B We know all your latest releases are trash but is your career this desperate for attention now??”

Brian Szasz Fires Back At Cardi

Cardi isn’t the only rapper to speak on the missing vessel. Nicki Minaj also shared her prayers for those on board during her latest Queen Radio show. The submersible vehicle lost contact with its support ship on Sunday. It reportedly entered the water with 96 hours’ worth of oxygen available. Be on the lookout for further updates throughout the day.

The Blink-182-Loving Stepson Of A Missing Titanic Submersible Passenger Clapped Back At ‘POS Trashy Celeb’ Cardi B Over Her Video About Him

Recently, Brian Szasz attended a Blink-182 concert. Without context, that sounds like a fun and innocuous night out. However, Szasz is the stepson of British billionaire Hamish Harding, who is one of the passengers on the submersible vehicle from OceanGate Expeditions, which is currently missing after embarking on a journey to see the sunken Titanic. So, Szasz enjoying a rock show amid this serious situation raised some eyebrows, including those of Cardi B. It turns out Szasz didn’t care for what Cardi had to say.

In a video shared on her Instagram Story yesterday (June 20), Cardi said in part, “People was like, ‘Well, what is he supposed to do? Be sad at the house? Is he supposed to go look for him?’ Yes. You’re supposed to be at the house, sad. You’re supposed to be crying for me. You’re supposed to be right next to the phone, waiting to hear any updates about me.”

Szasz clapped back on Twitter today, writing, “@iamcardib What a pos trashy celeb.

Nicki Minaj Reacts To Missing Titanic Submarine: “In My Prayers”

Nicki Minaj discussed the missing submarine that failed to return from an expedition to the wreckage of the Titanic on her latest Queen Radio show. In doing so, she remarked that she is keeping the crew members in her prayers.

“No one should be hopping they ass on a submarine talking ’bout they going down to the Titanic,” she said, as noted by Uproxx. She added: “I’m keeping all five passengers in my prayers and wishing all the best to search and rescue teams. I just hope everyone stays safe.”

A submersible vessel used to take tourists to see the wreckage of the Titanic in the North Atlantic has gone missing, triggering a search-and-rescue operation, the US Coast Guard said on June 19, 2023. It was not immediately known how many people are on the vessel, operated by a company called OceanGate Expeditions. “Yes, we’re searching for it,” said an official from the US Coast Guard Rescue Coordination Center in Boston. It’s not technically the first time that Minaj has commented on the situation. She also addressed it in a since-deleted tweet. “Praying they make it back to their families,” she said in the post. “This is so scary and should not be allowed. Like wtf? I just assumed they were marine biologists…finding out this was a ‘tourist’ ‘Titanic’ thing??????”

The coast guard has said that the submarine lost contact with its support ship just one hour and 45 minutes into the journey below. It reportedly entered the water with 96 hours’ worth of oxygen available.

Nicki Minaj’s Initial Tweet

The latest update on the situation is that the Department of Homeland Security’s National Operations Center says a Canadian aircraft detected “banging” in 30-minute intervals coming from the area where the crew disappeared. As of noon on Wednesday, those inside the vessel reportedly have less than 20 hours of oxygen left.

Nicki Minaj Is ‘Praying’ For The Titanic Submersible Passengers, But Is Shocked The Voyage Even Happened In The First Place

The missing Titanic tourist submersible has everyone talking. While there’s still no telling where the five missing passengers, who took an undersea voyage in the submarine to see the remnants of the Titanic, may be, several people have taken to social media to express concern.

Last night (June 21), Nicki Minaj took to her Amp radio show Queen Radio to express concern and dismay over the idea of taking a submarine to see the remains of the sunken ship.

“No one should be hopping they ass on a submarine talking ’bout they going down to the Titanic,” she said.

But despite her disapproval of the activity, Minaj sent well wishes to the missing passengers and offered prayers for their safe return.

“I’m keeping all five passengers in my prayers and wishing all the best to search and rescue teams,” she said. “I just hope everyone stays safe.”

Earlier, in a since-deleted tweet, Minaj expressed shock that such a tourist activity was even open for people to participate in.

“Praying they make it back to their families,” she said. “This is so scary and should not be allowed. Like wtf? I just assumed they were marine biologists…finding out this was a ‘tourist’ ‘Titanic’ thing??????”

Cardi B Doesn’t Think The Stepson Of A Missing Titanic Submersible Passenger Should Have Gone To A Blink-182 Concert

Cardi B has an issue with the ongoing Titanic submersible situation.

In case you haven’t been on the internet at all over the past few days, here’s what’s happening: A submersible vehicle from OceanGate Expeditions set out on a voyage to view the underwater wreckage of the Titanic. The vessel, which has five people aboard, has since been reported missing. Given that there is a limited amount of air left inside the submersible, this has become a life-or-death situation. (We have a more detailed timeline and explanation of what’s going on here.)

Since that news broke, it was revealed that Brian Szasz, the stepson of British billionaire and currently missing submersible passenger Hamish Harding, attended a Blink-182 concert amid all this. He explained, “It might be distasteful being here but my family would want me to be at the Blink-182 show as it’s my favorite band and music helps me in difficult times!”

Cardi, it turns out, doesn’t quite agree with his reasoning.

In a video shared on her Instagram Story last night (June 20), Cardi (being virtually held by a skinless man, for some reason) said, “People was like, ‘Well, what is he supposed to do? Be sad at the house? Is he supposed to go look for him?’ Yes. You’re supposed to be at the house, sad. You’re supposed to be crying for me. You’re supposed to be right next to the phone, waiting to hear any updates about me. […] Like, isn’t it sad that you a whole f*ckin’ billionaire and nobody gives a f*ck about you? Like, you missing and motherf*ckers is ready to shake dicks at concert. That’s crazy. I’d rather be broke. I’d rather be broke and poor, but knowing that I’m loved.”

Cardi B Goes Off On Missing Billionaire’s Stepson For Going To Blink-182 Concert

Cardi B is someone who has never shied away from commenting on some of the biggest events of the day. Overall, she has a massive platform, and she uses it when she can. Just like many of us, she is riveted by the story about the men who are trapped on a submersible in the Atlantic Ocean. OceanGate Expeditions was on a trip to the Titanic wreckage. Within the submersible were a few billionaires who had paid $250K to be there. However, the sub has lost contact and no one knows where it is. This has subsequently led to a massive search party.

No one can stop talking about this on social media. However, most people are making light of the situation. Although there are people taking it seriously, there is no doubt some don’t care for the well-being of these men. Not to mention, the stepson of a lost passenger Hamish Harding, went to a Blink-182 concert in the middle of this fiasco. Overall, some felt this was in poor taste. Interestingly enough, Cardi B agrees with that sentiment. Below, she revealed that if she were in that situation, she would want all of her family and friends to be focused on finding her.

Cardi B Sounds Off

“People was like, ‘Well, what is he supposed to do? Be sad at the house? Is he supposed to go look for him?’ Yes. You’re supposed to be at the house, sad. You are supposed to be crying for me,” Cardi B said emphatically. “You’re supposed to be right next to the phone, waiting to hear any updates about me. […] Like, isn’t it sad that you a whole f*ckin’ billionaire and nobody gives a f*ck about you? Like, you missing and motherf*ckers is ready to shake dicks at concert. That’s cr*zy. I’d rather be broke. I’d rather be broke and poor, but knowing that I’m loved.”

Ultimately, the rescue mission for these men has not gone extremely well. They are still missing, and while there is hope they are saved, things aren’t looking good. Overall, it’s been quite the news cycle. Let us know what you think of Cardi’s comments, down below.

“Avatar 2” and “Titanic” Fight For Third Spot On All-Time Box Office Chart

The re-release of Titanic in 3D has brought the movie’s gross box office earnings to $2.217 billion globally. This means that it still stands as number three in the top worldwide releases of all time. Avatar: The Way of Water is coming closely behind at 2.213 billion. It is still the fourth movie on the list of top worldwide releases, but the gap between the films is smaller than ever at just $4 million through Sunday. The Avatar sequel will surpass Titanic, it is just a matter of when. Regardless, James Cameron owns the box office once again. Titanic‘s rerelease has earned $22.3 million and Avatar: The Way of Water has earned $25.8 million.

As far as the international box office goes, Avatar: The Way of Water has had a 35% drop in 52 material markets for an additional $18.8 million. It is still the number one non-local grossing title in France, Germany, Spain, and several other countries. The top five grossing markets are China ($242.6 million), France($144.9 million), Germany ($135 million), Korea ($106.9 million), and the UK ($89.7 million). When it comes to IMAX, Avatar: The Way of Water has hit $252.2 million in its final weekend. The film’s international cume is $164.6 million. This includes $52.2 million (the second-highest IMAX result ever) from China.

Like Avatar: The Way of Water, Titanic‘s rerelease for the film’s 25-year anniversary had impressive numbers. The film was number one in Italy, Belgium, Bosnia, Slovenia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Bolivia, Ecuador, and Central America. Additionally, it made $15.9 million internationally from 51 markets. It also debuted in the Top 4 in Korea, Japan, India, Spain, Mexico, the UK, Australia, France, Germany, Brazil, and more. Korea ($2.5M), France ($1.6M), Mexico ($1.2M), UK ($1M), and Japan ($1M) were the Top 5 booking passages. Additionally, IMAX generated $2M globally.

The media is buzzing about Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania‘s global release this coming week on February 17. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever rolled out in the PCR starting on February 7 after a long break from Marvel movies in the market. It grossed $12 million across its extended opening session. Black Pather: Wakanda Forever was never expected to be the high-grossing Marvel return that it was. However, the film’s international cume is now at $401.4 million for $885 million globally.

Earl Sweatshirt Drops ‘Titanic’ And Shares The ‘Sick!’ Tracklist

The January 14th release date for Earl Sweatshirt’s new project Sick! is fast approaching. We’ve already heard two cuts from Sick! in the out spaced-existential “2010” and the sprawling “Tabula Rasa” featuring Armand Hammer. Now today, Earl has dropped a third cut in “Titanic,” and shared the tracklist to the project due out next week.

Produced by Black Noise, “Titanic” is a succinct statement, with Earl spitting straight through the under two minute cut with gems like: “Yes sir, think I already feel it. Sweatshirt, ’cause you know how revenge, is best served / Cold dish.”

The ten cuts on the tracklist show only two guest features. Along with Armand Hammer on “Tabula Rasa,” Detroit rapper Zelooperz appears on a track called “Vision.” And for what it’s worth, considering both “Titanic” and “2010” come in at around two minutes, and one of the album’s tracks is an intermission (“Lobby”), what comes out on the 14th could very well be the 21-minute album that the Alchemist referenced last September when he said “I couldn’t even describe it… that would be a disservice to it.”

Listen to “Titanic” above and check out the Sick! tracklist below.

1. “Old Friend”
2. “2010”
3. “Sick!”
4. “Vision” Feat. Zelooperz
5. “Tabula Rasa” Feat. Armand Hammer
6. “Lye”
7. “Lobby (Int)”
8. “God Laughs”
9. “Titanic”
10. “Fire In The Hole”

Sick is out 1/14 via Tan Cressida/Warner Records. Pre-order it here.
