It goes without saying that it’s been a tough few months for Wendy Williams. The personality’s Lifetime docuseries came out last month and has since resulted in a great deal of controversy. Just ahead of the doc’s release, it was also revealed that Williams has been diagnosed with dementia and aphasia. In the doc, for example, Williams opens up about her financial struggles, revealing that she’s not bringing in the kind of money that she used to. There have also been various reports that people in her life, including her own family members, have stolen money from her. According to TMZ, the federal government recently hit Williams with a tax lien on her New York City condo. This means that if she doesn’t pay up soon, they can start foreclosure proceedings, and take ownership of the property themselves. According to legal docs filed in January, she currently owes them $558,451.57 in unpaid taxes. Records show that she purchased the condo back in 2021 for roughly $4.5 million. This latest development has only increased fans’ concerns surrounding Williams’ team.

The outlet reports that her financial guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, was appointed in the spring of 2022. It’s unclear at the time of writing whether or not she, or Williams, is handling the violations. What do you think of reports that Wendy Williams owes over $500K in unpaid taxes? Are you surprised? “Making music, you think about things that go on in life and things that happen in your life, and you dial in on things,” Scott explained “That moment for families, for the city, you know, it was devastating. And when it came to making, like even finishing the album…I got back into it probably like, I don’t know, months and months and months after. And the idea of just even getting back into music, working on music and just even getting into that, was therapeutic of being able to channel some of the energy into production and sounds and finishing it.”

Lil Pump Facing Massive Tax Bill

Nobody likes tax season. In the United States, federal taxes are confusing and stressful. This is because tax accountancy companies like Intuit and H&R Block lobby the federal government to keep tax filing complicated so that you’ll continue to pay them to do your taxes for you.

However, contrary to popular belief, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is actually pretty reasonable if you mess up or file late. That is until you start owing them a lot of money which you continually refuse to pay what you owe. One method of punishment is through the filing of a tax lien. In short, this grants the government a legal claim to your property in order to settle your tax debt if you do not pay.

Lil Pump Issued Second Tax Lien Over $2M Tax Bill

That is exactly what has happened to Lil Pump. According to Radar Online, the rapper has been issued two tax liens over the past two months. Both liens relate to unpaid taxes over the last four years. Pump purportedly owes a hair under $1.95 million after paying just $90,000 in taxes since 2019. The vast majority of this bill comes from the $1.65 million in unpaid taxes for 2018. Furthermore, this number likely does not include his 2022 taxes, whose filing deadline was last week Pump’s reported net worth is somewhere in the region of $12 million.

However, the rapper seems unfazed by both his tax bill and the mounting efforts of the US government to get what they are owed. Pump has not released a statement regarding his tax bill. Furthermore, he is not trying to hide his earnings. He recently performed at Penn State University, who reportedly shelled out to bring him to the school. An Instagram post about the show asked which college he should visit next. Additionally, recent Instagram posts include trips to Thailand, claims he was going to drop “40k” at a strip club, and a post showing large piles of cash and jewelry. It’s unclear what the next step for the federal government will be. However, Lil Pump may soon be facing legal action over his unpaid bill.

Chris Brown Hit With $4M In Taxes As He Unveils Huge Clothing Collection

Chris Brown had a huge year in 2022, with the release of his latest album, as well as the subsequent supporting tour alongside Lil Baby. However, it looks like Uncle Sam is on the hunt for his cut.

Per TMZ, the IRS and the state of California hit Chris Brown with a $4M tax bill for 2022. The publication said that he was federal tax liens for $2,245,561.50 and $1,059,967.78 for the past year. Additionally, the state of California filed another state tax lien against the singer for $739,067.48. All in all, Chris Brown is facing nearly $4M in taxes for the past year.

However, it doesn’t appear that it could be a huge issue for him. The singer revealed that he needed to build a department store at his home to hoard all of his clothing. In a video shared on Instagram, the Breezy artist revealed racks upon racks of clothes in a long storage space. It kind of looks like he has a Marshall’s for designer streetwear on his property.

Though he can surely sell some of the clothes off — which he’s done in the past — if needed to foot the tax bill, it doesn’t seem like it would be a huge issue for him to cover. The singer’s on pace to head on another tour in support of his new album. This time, he’ll be hitting dates across Europe. So far, the majority of the shows are sold out, including four dates in London, two in Amsterdam, and another two in Paris. The demand was so high that he added more dates. Needless to say, he’ll be caking it once the tour is over.
