Czarface & Kool Keith Rap Over One Of The Weirdest But Coolest Beats All Year On “Rocket Science”

Over this past weekend, CZARFACE did something pretty exciting. You already know the underground trio as constructed with 7L, Esoteric, and Inspectah Deck. However, they now have another alias that they go by, and it includes a different rapper. We’d like to introduce to you, Stress Eater. This threesome now consists of 7L and Esoteric, but instead of Deck, Kool Keith enters the fray. He’s another respected name in this scene and is honestly a perfect with this group. CZARFACE is known for their sometimes-outlandish lyrics and wacky production choices. Those are two things that Keith can get down with, especially since he’s one of the first to introduce horrorcore.

Instead of just dropping a single to warm the CZARFACE fans up to this idea, they went all in. Their full-length debut, Everybody Eats! is 13 songs and 34 minutes, and it’s a blast. It still has some of that charm that you come to expect, although it’s going to take some time for them to truly create a new identity. “Rocket Science” though is a great start to getting there, as it features a truly otherworldly beat. The Czar-Keys, the production duo of the trio, lays down an instrumental that sounds like time is warping. It’s nasty, distorted and truly inventive. Check it out, as well as the rest of the album on all DSPs.

Quotable Lyrics:

My DNA and ID, I pee and I see units for metaphor
China flow, Singapore, who want more?
I can tour in Ecuador, open doors, dissect
Podcast, tell the truth, lie jest tax friend
Biggie will reverse, what the deal, cut the deal
Other deals, keep em on high, one (one one)

Czarface Creates A New Hip-Hop Trio With Kool Keith With Their Debut “Everybody Eats!”

CZARFACE is shifting around some pieces for this latest project, Everybody Eats! This is 7L, Esoteric, and Inspectah Deck’s 14th release, however, this one doesn’t include one of the members. The Wu-Tung Clan member is the odd man out in this case. Some of you may disappointed to learn that, however, the “replacement” is not one to sneeze at. Kool Keith, another underground legend hailing from The Bronx, steps in to fill some big shoes. But given his stature in the game, 7L and Esoteric don’t miss a beat with him in the fold. We say “replacement” though for Keith because he’s actually joining the CZARFACE family to an extent.

He’s here to help create a secondary rap group called Stress Eater, hence the title, Everybody Eats! So, in a way, this is a debut project of sorts. If you aren’t familiar with Keith’s work, him being a part of a hip-hop posse is nothing new. In fact, he’s been a founder during his 40 plus year career. Back in the 1980s, he formed Ultramagnetic MC’s. Ced Gee, DJ Moe Love, and TR Love are his compatriots, and they are still going today. They last released music back in 2023, but they were much more active in the 90s and 80s. Their last full-length, The Best Kept Secret, dropped in 2007. Listening to Everybody Eats! and seeing the reception it’s gotten so far, Stress Eater could become another successful venture for Esoteric, 7L, and Kool Keith.
