Gunna’s Attorney Debunks Wack 100’s Claims About There Being An Interrogation Video

Gunna’s attorney, Steve Sadow, has fired back at Wack 100, who recently claimed to have a video of the rapper speaking with the prosecution for an interrogation. Responding to a clip of Wack attempting to blackmail Gunna with the video, Sadow wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “Never met with the prosecution and never spoke to investigators.” He also confirmed that no such video exists to ThuggerDaily.

As for the clip of Wack 100, he demands Gunna admit to snitching in the YSL RICO case. “But Gunna, you know that interrogation? Yeah, guess who got it,” Wack said. “Two hours? N***a, you was in there talking more than Hurricane Katrina.” Afterward, Wack shared an image of a man who didn’t appear to actually be Gunna speaking with authorities. ThuggerDaily shared the post and added: “Found the source of the screenshot, we seen this video in trial already it’s from someone else and 100% not gunna [laughing emoji] someone must have told him it was a ‘ysl member’ and he ran with it.”

Gunna was initially arrested alongside Young Thug and other members of YSL, but accepted a plea deal in December 2022 and was released from prison. The move quickly resulted in viral rumors about him having allegedly snitched on his associates, but he consistently denied that being the case. It took until last month for Young Thug to finally get out on a plea deal of his own.

Gunna’s Attorney Comes To His Defense

Shortly after getting out of jail, Thug posted on X, “Gunna stop acting like we friends on the internet, I don’t know u my guy,” although he quickly removed the diss. In turn, fans have theorized it could’ve been the work of a hacker. Check out Steve Sadow’s response to Wack 100 below.

Lawyer Who Got Gunna Out Of Prison To Represent Donald Trump

Donald Trump is expected to turn himself in at Fulton County jail today August 24). The former U.S. president is facing 13 felony counts surrounding his attempt to overturn the 2020 election. Trump was previously represented by Drew Findling, the “Billion Dollar Lawyer.” He’s worked with the likes of hip hop artists like Gucci Mane, Cardi B, and more. Now, however, the 77-year-old is looking to switch things up. He’s bringing attorney Steve Sadow onto his team, who famously got Gunna out of prison at the end of last year.

“I have been retained to represent President Trump in the Fulton County, Georgia case,” Sadow told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “The president should never have been indicted. He is innocent of all the charges brought against him.” Incidentally, this isn’t Trump’s only tie to the YSL RICO case. He was indicted on RICO charges by the same DA as Young Thug. The rapper has been behind bars since May of 2022. Gunna is famously accused of “snitching” on the YSL figurehead, making for quite the controversy in the world of hip hop.

Gunna took a plea deal last December. The rapper maintained his innocence while accepting a guilty verdict on one racketeering charge. He was given a four-year suspended sentence and was ordered to special conditions, like 500 hours of community service, amid his release. The terms of Trump’s surrender are currently unknown, but the former president is not expected to be held.

Trump has maintained his innocence, calling the investigation a “witch hunt.” “We look forward to the case being dismissed or, if necessary, an unbiased, open minded jury finding the president not guilty,” Sadow explains. “Prosecutions intended to advance or serve the ambitions and careers of political opponents of the president have no place in our justice system.”

Gunna’s Lawyer Reiterates That He Won’t Cooperate In YSL/Young Thug Case

Gunna was not the only co-defendant in the YSL trial to cop a plea. However, he certainly caught the most heat. Since his release in December, the rapper faced incredible scrutiny from fans, peers, and fellow members of the YSL label. Lil GotIt aired out Gunna online after bringing up his late brother, Lil Keed. Around the same time, former close friends and collaborators, like Lil Baby, seemingly distanced themselves from him. Still, Gunna and his attorney have pushed back against claims of cooperating with authorities.

Over the weekend, a bombshell video of YSL Woody in the interrogation room emerged. Woody didn’t hold back, detailing crimes allegedly committed by YSL and even offering to FaceTime someone to prove his claims. He discussed the YSL and YFN feud, and even claimed Thug was moving “reckless.” The video went viral and shed brand new light on the YSL case, especially as Young Thug awaits for the trial to begin. Though Gunna frequently faced accusations of being a snitch since December, the video of YSL Woody appears to be far more damaging to Young Thug’s case than any Alford Plea.

Gunna Won’t Take The Stand In YSL Trial, Lawyer Says

Jewel Wicker’s in-depth analysis of Gunna’s Alford Plea for OkayPlayer caught the attention of Gunna’s attorney, Steve Sadow, who once again, made it clear that his client will not be testifying. “After reading Ms. Wicker’s outstanding, insightful article, I am obliged to say for the record one more time: Gunna has never been interviewed by or cooperated with law enforcement or prosecutors in the RICO case,” he said. His statements push back against claims made by individuals, like Boosie, who haven’t been forgiving towards Gunna’s plea.

Sadow further stated that Gunna’s own deal with the D.A. won’t impact YSL trial. “Nor have his attorneys proffered information on his behalf. What was said at his Alford plea hearing was solely to resolve his own case. It cannot be used by the prosecution against Young Thug or any defendant,” Sadow added. Check out his statement above. We’ll keep you posted on anymore updates on the YSL case.
