Drake & J. Cole Fan Creates Amazing “Step Brothers” T-Shirt To Signify The Rappers’ Bromance

Drake and J. Cole have been friends for over 10 years now. Part of the reason for the continuing friendship is due to the fact that they are on a tour together. Of course, that would be the It’s All A Blur Tour — Big As The What? Currently, they are a little over halfway through their set of dates and they will be performing next on March in Belmont Park, New York. There have been some interesting headlines around it, including adding Lil Durk and Lil Wayne into the mix for a handful of shows. However, one we had to shed light on was a fan’s hilarious Step Brothers t-shirt with Drake and J. Cole on it.

The Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly comedy classic is iconic for their performances, but also because of the movie’s cover art. So, because of how close Drake and J. Cole are, he recreated the Step Brothers artwork. You can see the image of the ingenious creation below. According to Uproxx, Drizzy got a chance to see it during their show and his reaction is priceless.

Drake Couldn’t Help But Laugh At The Step Brothers Nod

He even called over a stage worker to see it while J. Cole was performing “No Role Modelz.” What is also funny about this is that Drake is actually a huge fan of Will Ferrell’s work. He was a huge Anchorman fan and he wound up reaching to see if he could land a role in its sequel. He would get a cameo in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, so this had to be a bit of a full-circle moment for him, on top of it being downright hilarious.

What are your thoughts on this fan’s Step Brothers-inspired t-shirt of Drake and J. Cole? Do you think this should become a merch item for the It’s All A Blur Tour — Big As The What?” Have you been able to attend any of the concerts? Do they have the biggest bromance in all of hip-hop right now? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. For over a decade now, Drake and J. Cole have dominated the rap game. Along the way, the pair have formed a close friendship outside of their in-booth competition. Now, the “First Person Shooter” rappers are on the road together as part of their collaborative It’s All A Blur Tour — Big As The What?

Fans and ticketholders alike are excited to see the buddies joining forces. But one concertgoers used Drake and J. Cole’s bromance as inspiration for their outfit. In a now-viral video, one supporter sported a customized t-shirt of the musicians’ faces. But the tee was just a normal top, the fan transposed Drake and J. Cole’s faces onto the promotional image for the 2008 movie, Step Brothers, starring Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly.

Immediately after spotting the fan and their shirt from the crowd, Drake couldn’t help but laugh at the hiliarous mashup. What makes it even funnier is Drake’s friendship with Ferrell.

In 2013, during an appearance on Chelsea Lately, Drake spoke about his cameo in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, which starred Ferrell. “I reached out to him [Will] because ‘Anchorman’ was a huge part of my life,” he said. “So I asked him if I could do it and him and [director Adam Kay] were phenomenal about it,” he continued. “They let me be part of the scene, I got to improve, I got to interact with [Christina Applegate] and [Will Ferrell].

When also gushed about being a fan of the film’s predecessor. “I used to have this car that would allow you to play DVDs illegally through the front dash,” he said. “It had a little screen where you could play movies. It would allow me to play movies so I would have ‘Anchorman’ on loop in my car. No music, just like ‘Anchorman’ consistently looping over and over and over. So, people would get in my car and you’d be mid-sex panther scene in ‘Anchorman.’”

‘Step Brothers’ Duo Will Ferrell And John C. Reilly Reunited To Perform ‘Boats ‘N Hoes’ With Snoop Dogg

Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly have starred in some iconic movies together: Talladega Nights: The Ballad Of Ricky Bobby, Step Brothers, and most recently, Holmes & Watson. Step Brothers in particular was a pop culture phenomenon, and one of the film’s most memorable moments remains the song “Boats ‘N Hoes.” All these years later, Ferrell and Reilly haven’t forgotten about the tune: This past weekend, the pair reunited to perform the song with Snoop Dogg.

This went down at the Best Night of Your Life 2 benefit show at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. The trio performed a verse of the song before transitioning into Snoop’s “Gin And Juice.” Ferrell and Reilly then surprised Snoop, whose 52nd birthday was on October 20, with a cake and a singing of “Happy Birthday.”

Snoop, meanwhile, recently spoke about how the last thing he wants to be is the smartest person on his team, saying, “What do I always say, y’all? I want to be the dumbest one on my team. I’ve always said that, I just said that the other night. Because if I’m the dumbest one on the team, I got some bad muthaf*ckas around me!”
