LeBron James Praises Savannah: “Without her, I wouldn’t even be in this position.”

Even LeBron James is faced with the rumor mill but the arguable GOAT isn’t letting chatter distract him from celebrating the very woman who has been the cornerstone of not only his family but his illustrious career.

King James is hot off winning a gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The NBA superstar gave praise to his wife, Savannah James, acknowledging that she is the true MVP.

Here’s what he said:

“My wife takes care of the business, man. She’s the best,” James expressed during an emotional post-game interview with “Andscape” after Team USA’s victory over France secured the gold. “Without her, I wouldn’t even be in this position to be able to do what I do and love the game. I love it.”

LeBron, is 30. He turns 40 in December. In Paris he was surrounded by his family in what is likely his final Olympic appearance. But he didn’t hold back in sharing how much Savannah means to him, particularly in light of recent unfounded rumors.

“It’s why I do it. I do it for my family,” James emphasized. Savannah, along with their three children, was by his side.

The couple, who have been married for over a decade, but together since middle school. continue to be a source of inspiration for James.

Get this, when it comes to LeBron, this likely last Olympic journey was about more than just winning – it was about honoring those to matter, the people who made it worth while. Savannah, is on top of that list and remains undeniably LeBron’s main support at this stage in his life.

Admirable. Goals. Plain and simple.

See it: Player From France Who Dunked on King James is Coming Back to the NBA

Screen Shot 2024 08 20 at 3.23.28 PM

French basketball star Guerschon Yabusele just snagged a return contract back to the NBA after a standout game at the 2024 Paris Olympics. If ya’ll remember he dunked on Bron. Not the biggest of deals but it definitely made noise.

So Yabusele signed a one-year, $2.1 million minimum contract with the Philadelphia 76ers, marking his first NBA stint since leaving the Boston Celtics in 2019. Good for him!

Yabusele, 28, made a significant impact during France’s Olympic campaign, averaging 14.0 points per game on 51.9% shooting.

If you don’t know buddy, he was originally drafted by the Celtics in the first round of the 2016 NBA Draft, Yabusele had a limited role during his time in Boston, averaging 2.3 points and 1.4 rebounds per game. He was waived in the summer of 2019, leading him to continue his career overseas in China, France, and Spain, where he most recently played for Real Madrid.

Now with the 76ers, Yabusele aims to establish himself in head coach Nick Nurse’s rotation as he makes his return to the NBA.

How do you say best of luck in French?

Here’s that dunk in case you missed it at the Olympics:

Simone Biles’ Estranged Birth Mother Expresses Desire for Reconciliation and Financial Help

Screen Shot 2024 08 21 at 6.38.45 AM

Last week, Shannon Biles, the birth mother of Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles, expressed a desire to reconnect with her daughter, whom she has been estranged from for decades. Shannon, who lives in poverty, also shared that she would welcome financial assistance if offered by Simone.

In an exclusive interview with the Daily Mail, Shannon, 52, opened up about the strained relationship between her and Simone. “Of course, I would accept her help,” Shannon stated, adding that Simone has not extended any financial support to her thus far. “I’m here. I’m okay,” she said, reflecting on her situation.

Simone, now an accomplished and celebrated Olympic gymnast, was separated from her birth mother as a child due to Shannon’s struggles with substance abuse. Shannon lost custody of her four children, including Simone, who was later adopted by her maternal grandfather Ron and his wife Nellie Biles, who raised her in Texas. Despite her remarkable success, Simone has chosen to maintain her distance from Shannon, who continues to live in the same modest row house in the crime-ridden neighborhood of Franklinton, Ohio.

While Simone’s life has been marked by extraordinary achievements, it has not been without its share of scrutiny. Recently, Simone found herself addressing criticism from online trolls after sharing a video of herself enjoying a luxury shopping spree following her victorious performance at the Olympic Games. Some critics took issue with her flaunting her wealth, particularly after she was seen with an Hermès handbag. Simone responded to the backlash on Threads, cheekily clarifying that the expensive handbag was actually a gift from her adoptive parents, writing, “My parents bought me my Hermès bag. Don’t be mad at me, be mad at your parents.”

Shannon, who has been sober for years but continues to struggle financially, has expressed her desire to mend the broken relationship with her daughter. However, Simone has yet to show any interest in reconciling with the woman who abandoned her during her early years.

As Shannon navigates life with little to no contact with Simone, the question remains whether the two will ever find a way to reconnect, or if the rift between them will continue to grow.

The story will explore much of Hernandez’s complexities, including allegations of affairs with men while engaged to Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez, who supported him through his conviction for the murder of Odin Lloyd.

During the trial, Hernandez was also indicted for the 2012 double homicide of Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado, though he was acquitted in 2017.

Tragically, just days after his acquittal, Hernandez was found dead in his jail cell, an apparent suicide.

That was just crazy.

SOURCE SPORTS: Rich Paul Reportedly Not Here For Any LeBron to Warriors Trade Talk

Screen Shot 2024 08 18 at 5.34.26 PM

Before anyone gets carried away about the idea of LeBron James wearing a Warriors jersey, take a moment and relax. After Bron and Curry’s gold medal-winning performance at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, there has been a lot of chatter about the two future Hall of Famers paring up in the NBA. Like we said. Chill out.

According to reports, the Warriors attempted to make a blockbuster trade to acquire the four-time NBA MVP before last year’s trade deadline, but discussions didn’t progress far. A major reason for this was the strong opposition from James’ agent, Rich Paul.

So, NBA insider Marc Stein, who cited league sources in his latest Substack, revealed that Paul was “adamantly opposed” to James leaving Southern California for Northern California. Paul was particularly concerned about how the NBA community would perceive James if he switched teams for the fourth time in his career.

“Sources say Paul implored both teams to scrap the concept — despite some owner-to-owner dialogue between the Warriors’ Joe Lacob and the Lakers’ Jeanie Buss and Green’s determination to lobby James to push for relocation to the Bay Area — largely because he wanted to insulate James from potential backlash over switching teams for the fourth time in his career,” Stein wrote.

Aside from Paul’s opposition, the likelihood of LeBron moving to the Warriors seems even more improbable now that his son, Bronny James, was drafted by the Lakers this summer and signed a four-year contract with the team. It would pretty much negate the novelty of the father-son duo we pretty much entertained all summer long.

‘Drake curse’ Is Undefeated: Drizzy Loses Massive Wager On Israel Adesanya Who Loses UFC 305 to Du Plessis

image

Drake can’t get a break in gambling that is. Drizzy Just took another gambling ‘L’ this time after losing a bet on Israel Adesanya to take down Dricus du Plessis.

The 6 God dropped $450K on the bet hoping “Last Stylebender” Israel Adesanya would pull out a victory versus UFC middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis. The fight was the main event, and unfortunately for Drake, Adesanya was out of commission after a vicious choke submission.

Screenshot 2024 08 18 021238.jpg

Many Drake haters who watch his losses, probably keep up with how many times he loses in the world of gambling. Drake lost a bet on Israel Adesanya during his last UFC fight against Alex Pereira. Adesanya was knocked out just minutes before the end of the match.

Drake did manage to recoup some of his losses later, though, when he placed a $400K bet on Adesanya to knock out Pereira in their rematch, which proved to be a winning bet.

It’s up and down with sports betting but we think Drake can afford it. Low key play money for him TBH.
