Shaquille O’Neal On Losing “Two Perfect Women” & Advising Sons To Avoid That

Shaquille O’Neal is one of the most famous figures in the NBA world, whether for his time on or off the court. However, as magnanimous as his public image is, he’s always shown himself to be a humbled and principled human being above all. Moreover, this seems to especially be the case with his previous romantic relationships, which he believes he fumbled. During a conversation with Monica on Mo Talk Radio, Shaq spoke on how he teaches his sons to avoid such mistakes when it comes to their personal lives. Overall, it was quite the emotive and sweet sentiment, despite the difficulty and animosity that can arise when a partnership comes to a close.

“I had two perfect women and I messed it up,” Shaq expressed. “My first one was my baby mother, Arnetta [Yardbourgh], and then I met Shaunie [Nelson]. Shaunie was also a perfect woman and I messed it up. Yeah, you know, we were young and always just doing d*mb stuff. But, you know, the good thing about our relationship is that they forgave me and we have a good relationship now. But when you ask me about the perfect woman, I had two perfect women and I messed it up. Just by, you know, being d*mb.

Shaq’s Advice To Sons Based On His Past Split Relationships

“I tell my sons all the time: ‘A man has three jobs when it comes to a woman. Protect, provide, and love,” Shaq continued. “Some men can only offer two, for whatever reason, but I’ma teach you how to offer all three.’ And that’s what I try to do. Even though I don’t have a relationship with the women that I let get away, I will always PPL: protect, provide, and love.

“Whatever they need, they get it from me,” he concluded. “Shaunie’s married, I’m happy for her. I hope this gentleman treats her the way she’s supposed to be treated, and I’ma still love her. She’s still my wife, I will always protect, provide, and love for her, married or not. No, it’s just how I was raised. You protect, you provide, and you love your woman.” For more news and the latest updates on Shaq, log back into HNHH.

Rapper Offset recently took his three sons to see the new film Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. He joined them at the premiere last night, where they all wore coordinating red and black outfits. He took his 13-year-old and 8-year-old sons, Jordan Cephus and Kody Cephus, as well as 20-month-old Wave, who he had with his wife Cardi B. Offset stood out in a bold, red and black number while his kids sported mostly black, with red and leather details. Angela White, AKA Blac Chyna, also attended the premiere, along with Metro Boomin and several collaborators on the film’s soundtrack.

Offset is no stranger to going all out with his children for movie premieres. Earlier this month, he accompanied his two daughters at the premiere of The Little Mermaid. Offset wore a formal white jacket with gloves, while his daughters each wore extravagant, princess-inspired ball gowns.

Biggie & Diddy’s Sons Speak On Continuing Their Fathers’ Legacies

Bad Boy Records was unstoppable in the 1990s, and thought tragedy struck them, their impact and artistry persevered throughout generations. Moreover, Biggie and Diddy’s sons recently reflected on what their fathers’ legacies mean to them. Furthermore, the reflections relate to the Paramount+ series titled “Family Legacy,” in which children of the world’s most revered artists give insight to their stories. During a conversation with Entertainment Tonight‘s Kevin Frazer, Quincy Brown, Justin Combs, Christian “King” Combs, and Christopher “CJ” Wallace’s statements formed part of a segment highlighting the show.

“Being able to look back on those things, it feels good to be a part of history, and just be a part of something that was so special,” Justin remarked. “I’m just so grateful that I was a part of that and was there to witness these things.” In addition, Quincy expressed that “[Diddy] knew what he was doing having us in the office [and letting us see] the good, the bad, the ugly, between all the businesses.”

“Family Legacy” To Feature Biggie & Diddy’s Sons

“I remember I used to just be getting babysit in the office, like, all day, and [would hear] Pops on the phone, yelling and just handling business,” King stated. “Like, it was serious. It made me learn growing up that he’s really building an empire and a whole legacy for us, and that it’s not a game, he’s really working. And then when I go outside and see all the fans and all the love he gets, I see how it pays off.” Meanwhile, even though CJ didn’t grow up with his father Biggie, shows like “Family Legacy” give him some sense of closure. “Anytime I get to see any type of home footage of my dad, it always sort of adds another piece of the puzzle of me figuring out what he was really like as a person,” he shared. “So I always appreciate those moments.”

Meanwhile, the sons also spoke on how hard Biggie’s death was for Diddy. “For [his murder] to come at such a quick moment, and in the midst of his success, to only put out two albums and have that amount of success, I guess it really just showed how early he was,” CJ said. “He was really thinking way ahead of the game. I felt like he was way before his time, obviously. His impact, we’ll never be able to really quantify it, because he’s not here today. So I feel like it’s just important to always continue the legacy like we’ve been doing, and push it into the areas that nobody could have imagined.” For more news on Biggie and Diddy, stick around on HNHH.
