Snoop Dogg, like every other Los Angeles Lakers fan, is feeling the sting of the recent loss. The Lakers fell to the Memphis Grizzlies in Game Two of their playoff series on Wednesday night. After a dominating Game One performance, the Lakers looked like a different team on Wednesday. Lakers fans were on a massive high after Game One. Now it looks like the team is starting from scratch, heading into Game Three. However, Snoop knows one thing the team needs to work on before their next game.
In a post-game Instagram post, Snoop didn’t hold back his feelings on what he saw from the Lakers. Including the shooting performance of Troy Brown. Snoop let Brown know where he should be until the start of Game Three. “You done missed every three this series, cuz. Every one! Get yo ass in the gym and make them threes.” The rap legend didn’t hold back on the problems he noticed during the loss. The Lakers were trending in the right direction after the Game One win. Including the Grizzlies being without star player Ja Morant in Game Two.
There’s plenty of blame to go around for the Lakers Game 2 loss. Including from star forward Anthony Davis. Davis was nowhere near the player many know him to be in his Game 2 performance. The Lakers big man only scored 13 points in his nearly 40 minutes of playtime. However, LeBron James was the player everyone knows him to be. James gave his all in the losing performance. But that isn’t the biggest takeaway from Wednesday night’s game for James.
Memphis forward Dillon Brooks has made a big splash in calling the NBA legend old after the game. The comments have sparked a lot of discussion on how the Lakers will react in Game 3. Love isn’t a potent enough word to describe Snoop Dogg’s relationship with cannabis. The iconic West Coast rapper serenaded Tom Brady with a Christmas carol while lighting a blunt. During the same appearance on the Let’s Go! podcast, Snoop relayed the “most stoned” he’s ever been was with Willie Nelson in Amsterdam on 4/20.

Alongside Gamma, the Death Row Records owner re-released his debut Doggystyle album as a limited-edition vinyl box set:
“Happy 4/20 — the most important holiday of the year for us stoners — we have a special announcement, and a rare gift for you,” reads the caption to Gamma and Snoop’s joint Instagram post. “To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the legendary Doggystyle album, we’re dropping a box set of only (!!) 420 copies of very limited edition, numbered vinyl on 4/20 at midnight.”
It continues, “It features never-seen-before artwork for every song on the album by the original illustrator Joe Cool, white smoke 180 gram vinyl, and limited edition Death Row rolling papers for you to roll up while listening to one of the most important hip-hop albums of all time.”
The post was later updated to boast, “SOLD OUT IN 30 SECONDS.” The official product listing on Gamma’s website confirms it is indeed sold out, but Doggystyle: The 4/20 Vinyl Box Set was on sale for $104.99, and those lucky enough to land one can expect it to ship by June 20.
Doggystyle was released in November 1993. Snoop Dogg shared with Stephen A. Smith on the September 30, 2022 episode of the K(no)w Mercy podcast how he planned to commemorate the album’s precise anniversary.
“Me and Dr. Dre been working on an album for the past two months, and it’ll be done in November,” he told Smith. “And it’s produced by Dr. Dre. It’s our 30th anniversary to Doggystyle. And the name of the album is Missionary.”

Since his untimely death in 1996, many rappers close to Tupac Shakur continue to preserve and defend his legacy. Among those industry ties is fellow Death Row Records rapper Snoop Dogg, who carries Pac’s memory with stride and continually honors him. However, according to MC Napoleon of the Outlawz, the Long Beach native was actually jealous of the Harlem-born star. In a recent interview with The Art Of Dialogue, he spoke on how Snoop has to navigate Tupac’s death in almost every media conversation he has.
“Maybe some of the things he couldn’t tell Pac face-to-face, you know, he can do it in these interviews,” Napoleon said about Snoop Dogg. “It’s sad. And one of the reasons why I always try to correct this is because him and Pac were friends. I already know why he doin’ that, bro. Imagine if you’re the biggest star on Death Row, and Pac come and take all your shine, you understand? And 25 years later, Pac died, and every time you do an interview, that name is brought up. So maybe he’s just trying to take that shine from Pac. You know what I mean?”
Also, Napoleon said that the “What’s My Name?” MC was wrong to express his dislike of Pac’s diss track “Hit ‘Em Up” and should only focus on the positive side of him. “Man, I’d say a week before he died, we was best of friends,” Snoop Dogg told Big Boy on Untold Stories. “Two days before he died, I don’t think he liked me. Because we was in New York and s**t had happened. New York n***as had shot at me and did all kinds of s**t to me, just the worst s**t you could think of, and I forgave ’em. Then I went and did an interview and was asked how did I feel about Puffy and Biggie. I was like, ‘I like them n***as, I wanna do some music with ’em.’
“And that just rubbed cuz the wrong way, like, ‘N***a, f**k them n***as, them n***as tried to kill me,’” Snoop continued. “‘N***as shot at you, and you talking about you wanna do a song with them n***as?’ Even when he played the video for me to ‘Hit ‘Em Up,’ even when he played ‘Hit ‘Em Up,’ the song, I didn’t like the song. I didn’t like it. I didn’t like the s**t. It wasn’t the s**t to me. Like, you buying more problems, cuh. You buying problems. Gangstas is everywhere. Napoleon of Tha Outlawz has commented on Snoop Dogg saying he didn’t like the late Tupac Shakur’s landmark diss record “Hit ‘Em Up”, which was aimed at his friend-turned-nemesis Notorious B.I.G.
Napoleon said Snoop never expressed that sentiment before now, adding, “For Snoop to say he never liked ‘Hit Em Up,’ he never expressed that. You got videos of him on stage with ‘Pac, Pac rapping ‘Hit Em Up’ and he’s rapping right along with him.”
He went on to say that Snoop was even singing the lyrics with him while at the House of Blue performance and bobbing his head in the studio.He says it’s strange that Snoop would say all of these things that he’s never say if’Pac was alive.

Leading many people to feel a lot better about their predictions of the Lakers pulling the upset. Snoop quickly took to social media to celebrate the game one victory. In typical Snoop fashion, the celebration was pure comedy. The legendary rapper even dubbed his Lakers with a new nickname. The Lakers will now be known as the “United Nations.”
“We got United Nations over here. We got Asians, white boys, — boy, we cold! The Lakers got a cold squad, baby. We on it like we want it. Ay Bubba, let me hear from ya, punk. Lakers in six, punk,” Snoop stated in his Instagram post. It will be hard to tamper with the expectations of Lakers Nation after their dominating game one performance. The team was rolling on all cylinders on Sunday. Including big performances from Austin Reaves and Rui Hachimura.
The Lakers faithful are finally seeing their teams somewhat healthy, and it’s paying off. However, there was a scary moment with Anthony Davis on Sunday night. The Lakers star injured his arm before halftime, telling trainers he couldn’t feel it. But Davis returned and helped lead his team to the victory over the Grizzlies. Snoop Dogg’s daughter, Cori Broadus, shared her experience with internet trolls since announcing her engagement to Wayne Deuce. The 23-year-old CEO of the Choc Factory appeared on Karamo and revealed how bullying has affected her.
Karamo shared how he saw the comments on social media about Cori’s complexion and people claiming Deuce is only with her because her father is Snoop Dogg.
“Just being in the public eye. People are going to say things, whether you are posting something good or you posting something bad. There is always going to be somebody negative. So it brought me to a place that I don’t wish on anybody,” Broadus said.
Broadus told Karamo that she waited a day to post about her engagement because she knew the folks were about to go in.
“This is supposed to be the happiest moment in my life. When I look at the comments, it makes me the saddest girl in my life,” Broadus said, referring to people calling her ugly in her engagement photo. “When people say those things, and you’re already dealing with insecurities, it triggers it because you already have someone online saying this about you, and I’m like, damn, that’s how I feel.”
She also revealed she is battling depression and lupus that started when she was a child.
“I got sick at the age of 6. Imagine being sick that young. I don’t know what’s going on. I’m just going to the doctor. I’m taking all these medications, and medications make you mentally feel some type of way as well,” Broadus said. “It was just a lot to go through as a little girl, and I’m still going through as an adult.
“I felt like when I was a kid. I was always an outcast. My brothers are light skin. They are slimmer. Even my friends, I have light skin friends with curly hair. I just was always different,” she said.
Broadus told the daytime host that although she is becoming better at brushing off the haters, receiving hateful comments still hurts.
“I’ve been bullied all my life, so like, when I first got social media, it is like I get more negative love than positive love,” Broadus said. “It’s always bout how I look, and what size I am, and my skin, and it just brought me to a place where I just didn’t want to be here no more.
She plans to help young people find their inner power to turn negative feelings into positive changes for themselves.
“If I had all of this instilled in me when I was younger. Whatever anybody had to say about me would not have even mattered,” she added.

In an exclusive interview with Big Boy for the Untold Stories of Snoop Dogg, the Doggfather himself delved into the strained relationship between him and Death Row labelmate Tupac Shakur in the months leading up to his untimely demise in September 1996.
He says he and ‘Pac were on good terms the week before his death, but the public comments made about Puff Daddy and Biggie made things more complicated for the Long Beach newcomer.

Snoop Dogg recently shared his thoughts on one of the 90’s most famous diss tracks. Tupac’s “Hit ‘Em Up” was released in 1996 and featured disses of several prominent East Coast rappers. Most notably, Pac took aim at friend turned rival Notorious B.I.G.. Pac’s bombastic takedown of all things East Coast earned many fans and detractors alike. Moreover, the song has gone down as one of the most indelible tracks of both the decade and hip history. Indeed, It speaks to the track’s longevity that it still gets play to this day. However, Snoop now admits that he wasn’t a fan of the track.
Snoop recently sat down with Big Boy TV to discuss his relationship with Tupac. During the conversation, Snoop recalled being shot at while visiting New York. Despite this, he would later express an interest in working in New York artists after the incident. Snoop revealed that this angered Pac. “I went and did an interview and was asked how did I feel about Puffy and Biggie. I was like, ‘I like them n-ggas, I wanna do some music with ’em,’” he said. “And that just rubbed cuz the wrong way, like, ‘N-gga, fuck them n-ggas, them n-ggas tried to kill me. Meanwhile, Snoop also spoke on his relationship with Pac in the weeks leading up to Pac’s death. Snoop revealed that the relationship with his Death Row Label mate was unpredictable and could change quickly. “I’d say a week before he died, we was best of friends,” he said. “Two days before he died, I don’t think he liked me,” Tupac was killed in Las Vegas in September of 1996. Additionally, Notorious B.I.G. was murdered the following March. Subsequently, many have speculated that increasing hostility in hip-hop may have played a role in the two legends’ untimely deaths.
