Jalen Rose Rips Skip Bayless For Shannon Sharpe Diss

Jalen Rose has never been a big fan of Skip Bayless. Of course, the two got into a very infamous exchange on ESPN back in the day. Rose brought up the fact that Skip only averaged 1.4 points per game in high school. Additionally, Rose referred to Bayless as ‘Water Pistol Pete.”

Overall, this was a hilarious exchange that ultimately ended with some on-air discourse. It is something that Rose has never forgotten, and Skip has certainly never earned his respect. Since that time, Skip has moved on to FS1, while Rose continues to work for ESPN.

Jalen Rose Comments On Skip-Shannon Beef

Recently, Skip Bayless went way too far while debating Shannon Sharpe. They were in the midst of a conversation about Tom Brady, when Skip referred to the NFL star as jealous. Sharpe did not like this and mentioned that he is in the Hall of Fame. This led to a cheap shot from Bayless who told Sharpe that Brady is better than him.

This did not go over well with Sharpe, who became livid with Bayless. He took off his glasses and began to yell at his co-host, who continued to antagonize him. Overall, it was a bad look for Bayless, and now, he is getting criticism from the likes of Rose.

As you can see below, Rose took to Twitter and wrote “Wow what a bully tactic and clowns call him drip. Definition of a #culturevulture.” It was a pretty biting critique of Bayless, although it is one you would certainly expect given their past.

This situation has been a horrible look for Bayless, however, it doesn’t seem like he cares. He has yet to make any sort of apology, and on today’s show, the viral clip wasn’t even acknowledged.

Hopefully, Bayless sees the error of his ways soon.

Shannon Sharpe Yells At Skip Bayless After Being Disrespected

Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless have been working together on Undisputed for six years now. When Bayless left ESPN for Fox Sports 1, he brought Sharpe along for the ride. He knew that Sharpe was the right man for the job, and subsequently, Fox made the right call by bringing Shannon on board.

While these two have a great deal of respect for one another, it is clear that Bayless can go too far sometimes. Overall, Bayless is a huge troll, and there are times when he doesn’t realize how far he’s going. Today was a perfect example of that as he sent Sharpe spiraling.

Shannon Sharpe Lays Into Skip

During one of the first segments of the day, the two discussed none other than Tom Brady. Of course, Brady and the Buccaneers lost 35-7 against the San Francisco 49ers. However, Bayless was there to defend Brady all the way. Meanwhile, Sharpe had some harsh criticism for the Bucs star.

Bayless did not appreciate this criticism and ultimately took it personally. This led to Bayless calling Sharpe jealous. Shannon could not believe this and asked Bayless how he could say something like that. Sharpe mentioned that he is in the Hall of Fame, and doesn’t need to feel jealous. Subsequently, Bayless straight-up told Sharpe that Brady is better than him.

This eventually led to Sharpe yelling at Bayless. Shannon was livid that Bayless would disrespect him just so that he could praise Tom Brady. Overall, Sharpe had every right to be upset. However, Bayless did not seem to care one bit, as he continued to antagonize the three-time Super Bowl champion.

The segment is already going a bit viral on Twitter as many were shocked by just how reckless Bayless was with his disrespect. Not to mention, it isn’t every day that Sharpe gets this mad at his co-host.

Skip Bayless Claims Patrick Mahomes Is Worst Thrower He’s Ever Seen

Skip Bayless is almost cartoonish in the way he hates certain athletes. There is an argument to be made that Bayless sometimes purposely lies about certain guys just so that he can win a debate. The best examples of this are LeBron James and Aaron Rodgers, who Bayless seems to hate with a burning passion.

Another athlete that can be added to this list is Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes is one of the best QBs in the entire NFL and he has shown the world just how good he is. Despite that, Mahomes catches quite a bit of flack from Bayless, especially on Thursday as Bayless had a scathing critique of the Chiefs superstar.

While comparing Brady to Mahomes, Bayless tried to say that Mahomes is one of the worst throwers in the history of the NFL. If you know anything about football, you quickly realize how preposterous this statement is.

“Brady was graded No. 1 in the league last year, I guess he just fell off…Mahomes is one of the worst throwers I’ve ever witnessed,” Skip said. “The Chiefs just lost to the Colts, who looked pathetic. It’s Saturday Night Live-ish to me. Patrick Mahomes has the worse footwork aside from Aaron Rodgers.

Mahomes and Brady will play each other on Sunday night, and it is sure to be a good game. Brady has largely struggled this season, while Mahomes has been pretty good, albeit there have been signs of weakness.

Russell Westbrook Claps Back At Skip Bayless For Calling Him “Westbrick”

Russell Westbrook Said "He Was Disappointed" That He Was Benched In Latest Lakers Loss

Russell Westbrook has had it with the names.

Skip Bayless had taken to Twitter to take a dig at the Lakers for drafting former Michigan State guard, Max Christie, who is not the best 3-point shooter.

“Lakers acquire a 2nd-round pick, take Michigan State’s Max Christie, who shot only 32% from 3 last season,” Bayless tweeted. “Perfect! He’ll fit right in with LeBron and Westbrick.”

Westbrook, who has apparently had enough of the Skip Bayless slander, responded to the sports analyst on Twitter, telling him not to say anything he wouldnt say in person.

“Yoooo… watch your mouth. Don’t say anything here you wouldn’t say to my face.”

Bayless has not responded to Westbrook yet. He might bring it up on the next episode of Undisputed. However, this is not the frist time Bayless has been called out for calling Westbrook out of his name. Westbrook’s wife, Nina Westbrook, called out Bayless on Twitter a few months ago for referring to her husband as “Westbrick.”

“You’ve got to stop calling people out of their name,” Nina Westbrook said in reponse to a tweet from Bayless.

“You are very disrespectful and a bully. This is why so many young people think it’s okay to exhibit this type of behavior. Social media has become such heinous place because of people like you. My name is Westbrook,” she added.

“I’m tired you you @RealSkipBayless calling my husband out of his name. It is extremely childish. That is my name as well, and many other peoples name. You’re disrespectful, and I’m extremely offended by your behavior. You should apologize.”

Skip Bayless Said Lil Wayne Told Him Monty Williams Told Deandre Ayton ‘You Quit On Us’ In The World’s Weirdest Game Of Telephone

Of the many subplots of the Suns disastrous Game 7 performance against the Mavs on Sunday night, the one that has the most bearing on Phoenix’s future is that of Deandre Ayton’s standing with the team.

Ayton played just 17 minutes and when Monty Williams was asked why Ayton got benched after the game, he sternly replied “it’s internal” and moved on to other topics. On Monday, Williams and Ayton had still not sat down to discuss whatever happened 1-on-1, although Monty had spoken with the team and seemed ready to move on, but given Ayton’s status as a restricted free agent this summer set to command a max contract, that entire situation complicates the Suns’ summer plans.

There were rumblings on Twitter from some fans in the Footprint Center near the Suns bench of an argument in the second half between Ayton and Williams in a tunnel, but no visual confirmation from TV cameras or anything that was noticed by those covering the game live. As such, that hasn’t become the massive topic it would if there were such video evidence and mostly it’s been a lot of shrugging and speculating on Ayton’s future.

However, Skip Bayless had a man on the ground in Phoenix sitting across from the Suns bench, none other than Lil Wayne (who got roasted for his “Luka a ho” tweet from earlier in the series), and was willing to report that Williams and Ayton had a spat that led to them being separated after Williams, allegedly, told Ayton he “quit on us.”

Now, this is a wild game of telephone going from Lil Wayne seated across the court and either hearing this or lip-reading it (Bayless wasn’t sure which) and then relaying it to his close personal friend Skip Bayless who brought this information to a national TV audience. At some point, especially if Ayton departs Phoenix this summer, we will likely get some stronger sourced reporting on what exactly happened that got Ayton benched, but this would certainly explain why Monty was clearly upset about it after the game and not willing to discuss the matter.

If it ends up being the case, then everyone better credit pre-eminent NBA newsbreaker Lil Wayne for having the scoop first.
