Metro Boomin Responds To Sexual Battery & Sexual Assault Allegations

Metro Boomin has reportedly broken his silence on the lawsuit against him via a statement to Billboard from his lawyer. For those unaware, he received a suit in Los Angeles court from a woman alleging battery and sexual battery stemming from a 2016 incident in which he allegedly sexually assaulted her and impregnated her. Per Billboard and TMZ, plaintiff Vanessa LeMaistre claims that she visited the producer’s studio in September of that year, took a shot of alcohol with half a Xanax pill, and blacked out. Then, she alleges, he sexually assaulted her, and she allegedly got an abortion in November after learning that she was pregnant.

Not only that, but Vanessa LeMaistre alleges that Metro Boomin indirectly referenced this alleged incident on his 21 Savage and Offset collab project from 2017, Without Warning, specifically the track “Rap Saved Me.” “She took a Xanny, then she fainted / I’m from the gutter, ain’t no changing / From the gutter, rap saved me / She drive me crazy, have my baby,” 21 spits on the chorus. Even though Metro himself doesn’t rap this and it’s unclear who wrote the lines, they are still allegedly a source of “further trauma” for her.

“These are false accusations,” Metro Boomin’s attorney Lawrence Hinkle III reportedly stated to Billboard concerning these sexual assault allegations. “Mr. Wayne refused to pay her months ago, and he refuses to pay her now. Mr. Wayne will defend himself in court. He will file a claim for malicious prosecution once he prevails.” Vanessa LeMaistre claims that she met him during an emotional time in her life shortly after her 9-month-old son passed away. They allegedly met in Las Vegas, which led the 21 Savage collaborator to allegedly invite her to his Los Angeles studio in September of 2016.

In addition, LeMaistre allegs that Metro Boomin was ingesting a lot of codeine before she blacked out on a couch. She alleges that she woke up on a bed, where he was non-consensually performing oral sex on top of her. The next morning, LeMaistre alleges that the 2024 rap beef participant told her to leave his hotel room. As for the pregnancy, she alleges that it was Metro who impregnated her because she hadn’t had sex with anyone else.

The Game Gets Served By Private Investigator In Sexual Battery Case

Back in 2015, a former contestant from The Game’s VH1 reality show She’s Got Game, Priscilla Rainey, sued him. She accused the rapper of sexual battery, alleging that he groped her under her clothing without consent during an off-camera date. A jury later awarded her about $7 million, a judgment he insisted he would never pay.

“Don’t be fooled by these accusations or the dollar amount in the headlines,” he wrote at the time. “Cause I put that on my favorite aunties poodle this broad ain’t gettin sh*t! Every girl on that show will tell u I never touched this chick or ever desired to be anywhere near her.” Now, however, AllHipHop reports that he’s been tracked down by a private investigator who served him with multiple legal documents.

A proof of service filing obtained by the outlet shows that The Game was served earlier this month. The documents included a notice of a right to a homestead exemption hearing, an order regarding the proposed sale of a dwelling, and more. The news arrives shortly after it was revealed that Rainey plans to seize the rapper’s Calabasas home as part of her asset collection approved by the court. It also comes after she subpoenaed his children’s school district for proof of residence and attendance records in July, seized his publishing and label, and more.

The Game is currently scheduled to appear in court on October 7 to argue against the possible home seizure. What do you think of The Game getting served by a private investigator earlier this month?
