The suspects also allegedly used the victim’s key FOB to go into his apartment and steal an assortment of items, including electronics and jewelry.
Teklemariam’s phone last pinged near Taylor’s D.C. apartment.
Police also learned that before his death, Teklemariam reported Taylor to the authorities for stealing his phone and Cashapping money to herself without his permission. Taylor and Miller were both charged with first-degree murder and armed felony murder. One of the men caught on camera with the two suspects was also arrested, but has not yet been charged with a crime.
