Britney Spears Footing $10K Rent Bill On Sam Asghari Bachelor Pad

Britney Spears is reportedly covering the $10,000-a-month rent on the new apartment of her soon-to-be ex-husband Sam Asghari. Asghari filed for divorce last week, citing “irreconcilable differences”. However, despite reportedly saying that he “wishes her best”, Asghari has also claimed she cheated on him and physically abused him. Furthermore, Asghari is allegedly trying to seek an agreement outside of a prenup that would see Spears give him nothing. Several outlets have reported that Asghari is threatening to release private and compromising information about Spears to achieve this.

The divorce proceedings remain in limbo but Asghari doesn’t appear to be sweating it. Per TMZ, he has moved into one of the most exclusive apartment buildings in Los Angeles and even negotiated one of the better suites for the price of a basic one. What’s more, as mentioned, Spears is reportedly the one covering the rent at the moment. While communication between the two has not opened, they have at least agreed to split their dogs. Asghari will get their Doberman while Spears will keep the four other dogs.

While Asghari is living large, Spears appears to be struggling amid the divorce. It has been reported that her support network has been reduced to just her lawyer and her manager. While fans have rallied around her, seeing Asghari as just another man trying to take Spears’ money, it appears that the pop superstar might be struggling.

Additionally, TMZ also broke the surprise story that Spears might be looking to reconcile with her estranged father, Jamie. Last week, rumors hit the news that a divorce between Britney Spears and Sam Asghari was imminent. Unsurprisingly, the formal announcement of their separation came just a day later which didn’t give fans much time to wrap their head around how things had gone wrong so quickly. The couple were only married for 14 months and Asghari often made public statements in support of Spears. But in the wake of their divorce some concerning news stories have emerged.

The first was that Britney Spears still wasn’t close with her family. An insider described her as “isolated” from family in the wake of the divorce stripping her support system down to the bone. Even more concerning news began to leak out of Asghari’s camp in the following days. One of which detailed instances where Spears would physically attack Asghari at night while he slept. Sam Asghari Gets Nothing Under Britney Spears Prenup

Sources have claimed that Sam Asghari has filed for divorce after 14 months of marriage to Britney Spears. This comes after a “nuclear” fight in June led to the couple separating. The couple was married in a star-studded wedding in June 2022. Furthermore, the wedding came six months after Spears was formally released from her 13-year conservatorship. While things seemed idyllic for the couple, it reportedly came crashing down after Asghari accused Spears of infidelity.

Furthermore, a handful of sources claim not only that Asghari has filed for divorce. They claim that he will also seek to challenge his prenup. The agreement, that Spears insisted Asghari sign, maintains her assets as “separate property”. Additionally, the terms of the prenup leave Asghari with nothing. This is according to a source with “knowledge of the situation”, per TMZ. As mentioned, Spears kept her assets separate from the marriage. Furthermore, the prenup waives Asghari’s right to claim spousal support.

It’s unlikely that a judge would amend the prenup outside of mitigating circumstances. Many people online believe that the infidelity rumors on the part of Spears are being circulated as infidelity on her part would weaken the prenup. Furthermore, challenges over things like spousal support and “quasi-community property” are legal buzzwords designed to stir up a challenge to the document that Asghari agreed to and signed. However, it is believed that the more likely outcome would be Spears writing Asghari a one-off check. But that brings into play other reports that has since emerged.

According to TMZ‘s sources, the prenup contains an “extensive confidentiality clause”. This prevents Asghari from divulging details about his relationship with Spears. However, Page Six has reported that Asghari is “attempting to negotiate concessions beyond his prenup and threatening to go public with extraordinarily embarrassing information about Britney unless he gets paid.” This suggests, again, that Asghari has no intention of going to court to fight this. An insider to the situation recently spoke with Page Six explaining how things have been within the Spears family following the divorce news.

“Her meeting with her mom went OK, but there’s still a lot of hurt there, so they haven’t quite reconciled. Britney is still very angry with Jamie Lynn, too,” the insider explains. Britney Spears Reportedly Divorcing Husband After a Year of Marriage

Oops…she (may have) did it again! Rumors are swirling that pop star Britney Spears and husband Sam Asghari are headed for divorce court.

While neither of the two has made a public statement, sources have said that the couple’s problems started following the end of Spears’ conservatorship from her father in which she began to behave erratically on social media and in person, culminating in a bizarre accident with NBA player Victor Wembanyama’s security guard earlier this summer. Her recent Instagram posts have been a haphazard collection of her displaying bizarre behavior and looking unkempt.

More recently, rumors have started to swirl that Spears had been physically abusive towards Asghari and that he had not been sleeping in the couple’s home. There are also rumors that she cheated on him, but so far there are no specific allegations as to when or with whom.

(Spears has not posted Asghari on her Instagram since June 22nd and Ashgari has not posted Spears on his Instagram since Valentine’s Day of 2023.)

The two met in 2016 when Spears chose Asghari to appear in her music video for “Slumber Party” featuring Tinashe. The couple got engaged in 2021 and married in June of 2022. (Spears’ conservatorship ended in November of 2021.)
