Cher & AE Edwards Share A Passionate Kiss During Red Carpet Debut

Sparks flew between music icon Cher, 76, and her latest beau, music executive Alexander “AE” Edwards, 36, during their red carpet debut at Versace’s Fall/Winter 2023 fashion show. The “Believe” signer was stylishly clad in a flashy skintight royal blue jumpsuit with a corseted bodice that was decorated with studs and crystals. She completed the look with a metallic blue jacket that also sparkled with studs and crystals, plus a pair of electric blue platform boots.

The UMG producer was not to be outdone. He came clad in a full black ensemble that featured a dress shirt and pants, as well as a chunky pair of square-toed black shoes. He brought the outfit together with a Versace jacket, embellished with gold Medusa buttons and accessorized with sunglasses and earrings. His stud and hoop combo matched the jewelry encrusted in his teeth.

Cher recently revealed that she had two new albums planned with her new fiancé.  The singer was all smiles when talking about Alexander’s talent. “I’m going to England to make two albums,” she gushed. “Some of the songs Alexander gave me, so I’m pretty excited about that. He’s a producer and a writer, and he does everything, so I’m happy about that.” The pop legend also spoke about the age difference between her and Edwards in December on The Kelly Clarkson Show.

The star said, “On paper, it’s kind of ridiculous. But in real life, we get along great. He’s fabulous. And I don’t give men qualities that they don’t deserve.” This isn’t the first time the star has spoken out in defense of her relationship. In a now-deleted tweet, Cher responded to the back by saying, “LOVE DOESN’T KNOW MATH, IT SEES ❤ ❤.”

She also defended Alexander from fans who doubted his sincerity. The pop icon tweeted, “As we All Know… I WASNT BORN YESTERDAY, & What I Know For Sure… There Are No Guarantees. Anytime you make a Choice You Take a Chance. I’ve Always Taken Chances… It’s WHO I Am” in response to a fan who said she wanted to see the star happy and not taken advantage of.

It’s been all of two months since romance rumours surrounding Lori Harvey and Damson Idris began making rounds online. At the time, the actress appeared to have fully moved on from her last serious relationship with Michael B. Jordan, which many fans previously thought would ultimately end in an engagement. While many thought she looked happy with her new lover at first, some are speculating that their union may be approaching its expiration date.

Earlier this week, the famous duo celebrated their first Valentine’s Day together with a dinner date. Afterward, they stepped out for something even more exciting – their red carpet-debut. For the season six premiere of Snowfall, which chiefly stars Idris as Franklin Saint, Harvey joined him as his date for the evening.

They looked as glamorous as ever in their coordinated outfits, the actor sporting a dapper dark suit while the model’s curves shone in a sleek black dress. Their outfits were certainly on point, but the internet has noticed that their body language looked obviously off in some of the circulating photos and videos. Specifically, many are noting that Idris appears afraid to touch Harvey, or as if they’re preparing for an impending split.

“No chemistry,” one Instagram user wrote after seeing the couple’s latest content. “Look how far apart they’re standing lol.” It certainly didn’t take long for the Memphis native to catch wind of the comment, and she promptly offered an explanation to shut the troll up. “Or maybe I just had on body makeup and told him don’t stand close to me because I didn’t want to get it on his suit lol,” the 26-year-old began.

“Y’all try to find a problem with everything,” she then clapped back. In the past, Idris has also used his social media platform to defend his new romance, chiefly calling out the “miserable people” hating on him and his partner.
