Island Boys’ Franky Venegas Arrested In Florida For Reckless Driving, Etc.: Details

The Island Boys are one of the most unsolvable cases in hip-hop culture. Twin brothers Franky and Alex Venegas have made the rounds on the internet over the last few years for all the wrong reasons. While they are classified as rappers, they are not really recognized for that. They are mostly known for their unspeakable antics that are painfully obvious attempts at clout chasing. For example, they went viral for kissing each other and pretending to perform oral sex. Additionally, the Island Boys have had their fair share of run-ins with the law with Franky’s reckless driving arrest now the most recent.

According to TMZ, Franky was handcuffed in his home state of Florida on Friday night. Currently, he is being held in Broward County Jail. On top of the reckless driving charge, he was also hit with operating a motor vehicle without a valid license and false ID provided to a law enforcement officer. However, the official details are not yet available. But TMZ was able to speak with the police about the situation.

The Island Boys Cannot Stay Out Of The News

As we mentioned, the Island Boys are no strangers to arrests. Around this time last year, Franky obtained a domestic battery charge to his record. Reports said that his then-girlfriend accused him of assault after she allegedly threatened to break up with him. She was allegedly slapped and thrown into the shallow end of a pool at a Pompano Beach Airbnb the two were staying at. Later on, she was treated at a hospital for injuries seen on her chin, legs and arms.

What are your thoughts on Frank Venegas, one half of the Island Boys, getting arrested for reckless driving and more? Are they the most confusing set of hip-hop celebrities in the industry right now? Tiffany Haddish Accepts Plea Deal In LA DUI Case

In November of last year, Tiffany Haddish was arrested and hit with her second DUI. The arrest reportedly took place after the comedian fell asleep behind the wheel of her car, where authorities found her parked improperly. She was released only hours later, and back onstage doing stand-up in record time, despite facing two misdemeanor DUI charges. “I prayed to God to send me a man with a job, preferably in uniform. God answered my prayers,” she joked onstage that same evening.

Luckily for her, however, those misdemeanor charges have since been dropped. The Haunted Mansion actress appeared in court in LA today where she accepted a plea deal. As part of the agreement, Haddish was convicted of reckless driving and pleaded no contest to the traffic violation, according to TMZ.

This means that Haddish won’t be spending more time behind bars any time soon, though her Georgia DUI case is still up in the air. “Ms. Haddish has agreed to a simple vehicle code violation – not driving under the influence, which has been dismissed — and looks forward to this being behind her,” her attorney Alex Spiro says. Following her arrest, Haddish shared plans to “get some help” in order to avoid something similar happening again in the future.

“This will never happen again,” she told ET in November. “I’m going to get some help so I can learn balance and boundaries.” It’s unclear what exactly Haddish has in mind in terms of help. In recent weeks, however, she appears to be back to her typical online antics. What do you think of Tiffany Haddish getting her two misdemeanor DUI charges dropped? What about her accepting a reckless driving conviction? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

DaniLeigh Receives Sentence For DUI Hit & Run

In May of 2023, DaniLeigh was arrested for a DUI hit-and-run near Miami Beach. The performer was reportedly seen speeding and swerving in and out of lanes and eventually struck someone riding on a motorized scooter. She dragged the individual for almost a block before witnesses alerted a nearby police officer, who pulled her over and conducted various field sobriety tests.

Unfortunately, she didn’t pass and blew almost twice the legal limit. An empty bottle of vodka was also found in the back of her vehicle by an officer on the scene. Her victim received treatment at a local hospital, where he was diagnosed with a kidney laceration and a spinal fracture. She was handed multiple felony charges including driving under the influence, DUI damage to property, and causing bodily injury. Shortly after her arrest, she was released on a $1K bond.

DaniLeigh Sentenced To Five Years Probation

Now, the 29-year-old learned her fate. According to The Neighborhood Talk, she appeared in court today where she was handed her sentence. Reportedly, she’s been ordered to five years of probation. Luckily for her, DaniLeigh won’t be spending any more time behind bars. That doesn’t mean, however, that her consequences end there. Her victim has also filed a civil lawsuit against her, which is still pending.

This isn’t the only legal trouble DaniLeigh has found herself involved in as of late, either. Aaron Hernandez’s Brother Secures Deal In Reckless Driving Case

Aaron Hernandez remains one of the most infamous players in the history of the NFL. Although, this is not for the best of reasons. As we all remember, he was convicted of murder. Subsequently, he went to prison and eventually died by suicide in 2017. Overall, it was a very sad saga that weighed heavily on his family. Now, his brother DJ is going through his own subset of legal issues, albeit on a much lower scale. For instance, back in March, DJ Hernandez was met by police on two separate occasions.

The first time police came into contact with him was on March 8th during a high-speed chase. Following the chase, Hernandez got hit with one count of failure to drive in a proper lane and one count of failure to use traffic control signals. According to TMZ, DJ has subsequently pled guilty to these charges. However, this was all part of a plea deal. Now, the charges are officially dropped, and Hernandez will only have to pay some fines.

Although, this does not mean he is out of the woods in regard to his legal woes. On March 23rd, the brother of Aaron Hernandez got a misdemeanor charge due to a situation at the ESPN campus in Connecticut. He reportedly threw a brick onto the premises with a note attached to it. The note had something to do with the network’s coverage of his brother. Since that time, he has been told to stay away from the campus, or he could face severe punishment. The trespassing case has yet to be dealt with.

Regardless, this is a very sad story for a multitude of reasons. It is clear that the Aaron Hernandez case has had an effect on his family members. Hopefully, DJ can get the help that he needs.
