Kendrick Lamar Brandishes A Shotgun With His Family In New “Mr Morale” Cover Shoot Outtakes

Kendrick Lamar allegedly left a lot of Easter eggs in his 2022 album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers that fans still haven’t discovered, or at least, that’s what one of its mixers Manny Marroquin thinks. But there are also plenty of details that didn’t end up manifesting, and many different ideas that were swapped out for others. For example, we now have a look at some more outtake pictures from Mr. Morale‘s cover shoot from photographer Renell Medrano, the same session that gave us the official artwork. In them, K.Dot holds his son Enoch (in a weirdly warped and pic-combining edit), stands over his partner Whitney and the little one, and also holds a shotgun while standing behind Whitney and their two kids on the couch.

Maybe this last one was too heavy or tonally clashed for the final cut. Nevertheless, it’s still interesting to see what other creative ideas were floating around the “Not Like Us” MC’s head, and what his team was bringing to the table. Medrano showed off these newly unearthed pictures from the Kendrick Lamar Mr. Morale shoot at a New York City exhibition.

Elsewhere, though, Kendrick Lamar is focused on the future rather than his past work, and wants to cement his recent releases into the history books… Well, more than they already are, anyway. He recently submitted both “Not Like Us” and his Future and Metro Boomin collab “Like That” for consideration at the 2025 Grammys in various categories. These are Record/Song of the Year and Best Rap Song/Performance, with the former also up for consideration as a Best Music Video nominee. However, just because he submitted these picks doesn’t mean that the Grammys will actually give him the nominations.

Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar will probably spend a lot of time preparing for his Super Bowl halftime show performance next year. Maybe this comes along with an album or new release at some point, but at press time, that’s only for fans to speculate. We don’t actually have any concrete information on what will happen next. But these old snapshots of the Mr. Morale days made us wonder as to what other curious diversions, alternate takes, and scrapped ideas are within this discography.

Diddy & Justin Bieber Throwback Pictures Resurface Amid Mogul’s Allegations

Given the federal case and various allegations against Diddy, many online are looking back throughout history to make note of his movement. They also seek out more celebrity connections in speculative fashion, as anyone talking about the Bad Boy mogul or interacting with him faces a very different context these days. This is the case for his bond with Justin Bieber, as TMZ recently obtained some throwback pictures of the two which have some fans raising their eyebrows. These old photos come from the Haiti Benefit Concert in Miami back in 2010 and a 2016 Grammys afterparty in Los Angeles. Check them out by clicking the “Via” link down below

While the two appear quite close, with Sean Combs’ arm around the pop star in both instances, the connotations spreading online are all the product of allegations and speculation, so the snapshots don’t reflect any proof. Many theories emerged in recent months as to Diddy’s alleged relationship with Justin Bieber, which some out there believed turned inappropriate. However, the Canadian singer is not a part of any current lawsuit or charge against Combs, whether as a passing mention or a key figure.

With this in mind, take the pictures and what some fans are interpreting them as online with a huge grain of salt, as they only reflect allegations, not evidence. For those unaware of Diddy and Justin Bieber’s history, the latter was a second-generation protégé of the former for a bit, with Usher being their common link. They even collaborated sometimes, like on “Moments” off of The Love Album: Off The Grid. With this new wave of allegations and federal criminal charges, many online users scrutinized and called into question their relationship.

Meanwhile, Diddy’s ex bodyguard Gene Deal recently alleged that he sent Usher to the hospital, although none of Deal’s claims have been proved true at press time by a court of law. As such, there are a lot of other stories like this that are still just allegations. We’ll see what other celebrity connections fans draw and how else they react to and assess the whole situation. The past can illuminate some things, but it can also obfuscate them.

Sexyy Red Reminisces On Her High School Days With Slew Of Throwback Photos

Happy Back to School Day, as proclaimed by Sexyy Red. While not every student out there starts today, she took it upon herself to celebrate the new season by sharing a boatload of throwback pictures of herself in her high school days. This is far from the first time that the St. Louis femcee has done so, but we have a lot of new snaps to look at now. Even Metro Boomin and other celebrities pulled up to her comments section to laugh or reminisce themselves. It’s oddly jarring but nonetheless heartening to see this rise from hallway beginnings to superstar status and even an NSFW beauty brand.

Jokes aside, not all of Sexyy Red’s reflections are light, but she always rises above the hardship at the end of the day. “STORY TIME: The night get it sexyy was made I was goin thru a lot,” she captioned an Instagram post celebrating the Gold certification of her hit “Get It Sexyy.” “Just had my baby felt depressed and was goin thru postpartum. My team in Miami would leave me in the studio to write songs. I would just b in there crying thinkin about life. I finally said send me back to St. Louis so I can b around the ones I love and get back to me!

Meanwhile, there are still fans demanding answers as to one of Sexyy Red’s recent online antics. Is she really dating Chief Keef, is Kayla B actually Sosa’s partner, or both? Nevertheless, the “Bow Bow Bow” collaborators apparently have a joint album on the way. As such, romance or not, we can expect a lot more bombast from them in the near future.
