Nick Cannon Pursuing Child Psychology Degree

Given that he’s welcomed 12 children into his life from six different mothers, Nick Cannon has a lot to learn about fatherhood. Moreover, he spoke on his progress on The Language Of Love podcast with Dr. Laura Berman on Sunday (June 18). In fact, he wants to take that learning process to the next level and actually hit the books. Furthermore, the multi-hyphenate entertainment figure revealed his pursuit of a master’s degree in child psychology. During their conversation, he mentioned some of the things that stick out in his mind the most in his early stages of advanced education.

“Oh, the presence of a father and how much will they need you,” Nick Cannon remarked. “The Freudian aspect of reverting back to your childhood trauma, or the lack thereof. Nature vs nurture. These are conversations I have several times every single day. I’m living, whether in therapy on my own or even just wanting to make sure that every single child has what they need, developmentally and emotionally. I’m studying the brain and at what point does sensory matter.”

Regardless of his studies, the “Wild ‘N Out” host is also taking other steps to develop his relationship with his children- or rather, with each other. “As much as that may be a wish of mine, I’ve got to respect that’s not a wish of everyone’s,” Nick Cannon said of bringing all his kids together. “I think that we’ll get there. One of the things I’ve witnessed from some of my elders in the game, once the children get of age to make their own decisions, it’ll happen. Because they’re currently under their mothers’ jurisdiction, I’m trying to play by the moms’ rules. But once they can make their own decisions, I would hope and pray that we’ll have established a strong enough relationship that they’ll want to come hang out with me.

“I think he’s kind of already figured it out,” he said of his six-year-old son Golden. “He knows he has other siblings. Even within his own house, he’s not an only child,” Cannon continued. “He knows about his older siblings. He’s been around the younger ones. He’s been around them, just nobody talks about it. It’s not like, ‘This is your brother or your sister. And I think the school that he’s in, he’s on the internet. He knows his dad is known for having a lot of kids.” For more news and the latest updates on Nick Cannon, stay up to date on HNHH.

Nick Cannon Reveals He’s Preparing To Start Introducing His Kids To Their Siblings

Nick Cannon has a lot of kids. 12 is the exact number at the time of writing. A lot has been said about Cannon’s proclivity for procreation, especially by Cannon himself. This has often landed him hot water, when he has joked about impregnating women like Taylor Swift and Bianca Blair.

What has also gotten him in trouble is the issues that come with having so many children with so many women. In chronological order from the last few months, Cannon has forgotten the name of one of his children. Furthermore, he admitted that he may have sent some Mother’s Day cards to the wrong people. Additionally, he’s been accused of not paying child support to certain women because of how many kids he has.

However, Cannon is having to navigate the waters of telling his kids that they have a lot of siblings. “As much as that may be a wish of mine, I’ve got to respect that’s not a wish of everyone’s,” Cannon said about getting all 12 kids in the same room. “I think that we’ll get there. One of the things I’ve witnessed from some of my elders in the game, once the children get of age to make their own decisions, it’ll happen. Because they’re currently under their mothers’ jurisdiction, I’m trying to play by the moms’ rules. But once they can make their own decisions, I would hope and pray that we’ll have established a strong enough relationship that they’ll want to come hang out with me.”

Apparently, the issue has come up recently regarding his six-year-old son Golden. “I think he’s kind of already figured it out. He knows he has other siblings. He knows his dad is known for having a lot of kids,” he noted, though he said the second grader has never asked. The time is now before another kid at the school says [something],” he suggested. “But I think it’s not going to be a difficult conversation.”

Nick Cannon Compares Himself To Bob Marley & Muhammad Ali

Nick Cannon is notorious for his large family, but he doesn’t see that as any reason for people to criticize him. In a recent interview with The Los Angeles Times, he addressed his perceived role as a deadbeat dad and recent reports that he pays $3 million a year in child support. “That’s not a lot of money,” he remarked. “When you think about my lifestyle, I have to generate at least $100 million a year… Everybody thinks Ryan Seacrest has tons of money. I do everything that he does times 10. Well, not times 10- times three. Because he does a lot. I’ve been villainized. I hear all the time: ‘You can’t be present for all those children.’ So, therefore, I get this deadbeat dad title.

“Right now, the narrative is, ‘He has a bunch of kids,’” Nick Cannon continued. “But I’m really at a place now where I don’t care what people know. I’d rather just operate. It’s more about really being a good person instead of telling people you’re a good person. I mean, Muhammad Ali had a bunch of kids, and he was the greatest fighter there ever was. Bob Marley got more kids than I got. These are great men.”

In another interview with Jason Lee, the “Wild ‘N Out” host spoke on why his twins with Mariah Carey, Moroccan and Monroe, aren’t on social media more often. “The few times we have let [Moroccan] go, he does it so classy,” Nick Cannon remarked. “They said something about his mom, and he said, ‘Hold up.’ He was on Twitch. He’s like, ‘First of all, I don’t discuss any of my family issues and I feel like you’re being disrespectful right now. That’s not why I’m here, so if you’re going to continue to ask me questions, I’m going to ask you to remove yourself.’

“I love it, but Mariah is more of a private person, which I understand,” he continued. “So it’s a balance, it’s alignment. I let them run. They make TikTok videos with me and do all this stuff. And they do it with Mariah too, but I let them have a little bit more freedom, especially stepping into the place of being almost teenagers.” For more updates and the latest news on Nick Cannon and his family, stick around on HNHH.

Nick Cannon Reveals Why He Has So Many Kids

Nick Cannon has addressed his public image surrounding his many children. He says that despite what people may think on social media, he is not a “deadbeat dad.” Nick was recently interviewed by the LA Times. There, Cannon talks about his approach to fatherhood and how social media can often misconstrue things. In the interview, he clarifies that he is there financially for all his kids and their mothers. Additionally, he says that he is often villainized because of the number of children he has. However, he believes it is not about what he does or says to his kids. Instead, it is how they feel when they are with him that matters.

Cannon explained that many of his partners are in the same age group. As such, he says they expressed anxiety about their biological clocks during the pandemic. So, he wanted to give them what they desired. He mentioned that they were all aware he had no interest in a traditional relationship before having children with him. He did not want to give half of what he built to someone he barely knew. Therefore, he would rather have an honest relationship than be with someone who claimed to be in love but still slept with others. Cannon has also bought homes for all the women he shares children with. Apparently, there is nothing they could ask for that he would say no to.

Nick Blames His Exes For His Toxicity

Nick Cannon is not perfect. However, the 42-year-old father of 12 does try to be present for his kids when he can. Recently, he rented out the entirety of Six Flags Magic Mountain for the twins he shares with Mariah Carey. However, Nick does often display some toxic behavior in the public eye. On May 4th, he took to his Twitter to place the blame on his exes for his toxic “origin story.”

“Shout out to all my toxic people that ever broke up with Somebody because they thought Somebody was about to break up with their Somebody!” Nick said, speaking in circles. “To all my ex’s Thanks for my toxic Origin story! Gladly turning into the Villain all y’all want me to be!!” It is unclear what he means about turning into the villain. While he is often trolled for having so many kids, he is generally not seen as an actual bad person. What do you think about Nick’s new interview and tweets? Is he a villain? Nick Cannon Claims He Has “Super Sperm”

Nick Cannon’s proclivity for having children seems like the primary thing the musician and television host is known for these days. Cannon has 12 children with six women and recently managed to forget one of their names while on Howard Stern. Her mother was sure to call him out over it on social media. His children’s names vary from Morrocan to Onyx to Halo. One of Stern’s children tragically passed away from cancer at just five months old.

Cannon’s children range from his 11-year-old twins with Mariah Carey to his four-month-old daughter with Alyssa Scott. However, Cannon has four kids all born since September 2022. Cannon also recently said that he wouldn’t want to live with all 12 kids at once. Now 12 kids probably do a lot of things to your way of thinking, but Cannon made an especially bold claim in a recent podcast episode.

“Super Sperm”

Appearing on the Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast, the conversation inevitably turned to the topic of Cannon’s large family. In regards to how he ended up with so many children, Nick Cannon had a simple (and tongue-in-cheek) answer. “I’m gonna be honest, I got some super sperm or something, ’cause I’ve practiced birth control, and people still got pregnant,” Cannon said. Someone should warn Taylor Swift, who Cannon has (jokingly) eyed as his next baby mama. By comparison, interviewer Howie Mandel has three children.

There is a lot to break down there. First, we would not be doing our due diligence as journalists if we didn’t note that birth control is not 100% effective. While birth control greatly reduces the likelihood of pregnancy, it does not eliminate it completely. But “super sperm” is a bold statement from the 12-time father, though one that’s surprisingly hard to disprove. However, if that’s the case, maybe Cannon could help with NASA’s reported plan to send millions of sperm to the moon. Despite this, Cannon’s 12 children is a modest number. Wikipedia only tracks men who have had 25 children or more. Though to be clear, we are not encouraging Nick Cannon to have 13 more children. But if he does have “super sperm”, that might be out of his control.

Nick Cannon Doesn’t Want All Of His Kids Under One Roof

In a recent interview with People, Nick Cannon revealed that he wouldn’t want to house his 12 kids under the same roof. Of course, that sounds like a logistical nightmare to begin with, but maybe some fans take that to mean he doesn’t care enough to bother. However, in his breakdown of his take, he explained that it would be more self-serving for him than anything else. Given that he recently raised some eyebrows for forgetting his daughter Onyx’s name, maybe this is also a reflection of him not wanting to spread his time too thin. Still, it’s quite an interesting reflection from someone who seemingly would rather put in extra work on his end to connect with his children.

“Only person that would benefit from having everyone in the Sam Rosa would probabaly be me,” Nick Cannon expressed to the publication. “I actually love stepping into their world– going to their sports games or giving them their personal time for the holidays. So I have no problem with bouncing around. It works to be able to take the time trying to go to them and show the value of being with them and not forcing anyone to come to me.”

Nick Cannon Doesn’t Want A House Of 12 Kids

On that note of forgetting Onyx’s name, her mother LaNisha Cole offered some love for her on Instagram. “It’s not normal to have your life play out in front of an audience, but this is the age we live in,” she wrote. “That being said… no person’s path is linear. There’s going to be blind curves, peaks, valleys, and sometimes we make wrong turns or run into dead ends. Simply correct course and get back on your forward moving path.

“I pray every day for strength, guidance, and peace,” Cole continued. “Regardless of where I’m at on my path I know that God’s got me. And I’ve got Onyx. To all the Moms out there… take care of your heart with the same love and patience you have for your babies. It’s not always easy but we were built for this.” Regardless of your take on this, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Nick Cannon.

Nick Cannon Forgets Daughter’s Name In Stern Interview

Nick Cannon’s large family is a topic that has been covered extensively. The musician and television host currently has 12 children with six women. As Howard Stern put in a recent interview, “If he’s not working, he’s fucking.” Cannon’s oldest children are his twins Moroccan and Monroe, who are 11. His youngest child is 4-month-old Halo. Over the weekend, Cannon shared Easter-themed photos alongside his son, Legendary.

Cannon has typically taken the conversation about his family in stride. Last year, he released a shopping channel parody in which he joked about his “big ass family”. However, 12 kids means 12 names to remember. And for a man as busy as Cannon, that can be a big task. Especially when you’re on national radio suddenly being asked to name all 12.

Nick Cannon Forgets Daughter Onyx’s Name

Appearing on the Howard Stern show on Tuesday, the topics of conversation ranged from whether Cannon would get a vasectomy to wanting kids with Taylor Swift. As the conversation stayed on Cannon’s large family, Stern asked the TV star to name all 12 of his children. Cannon began to list his children in age order but was stopped when Stern told him he had “missed one”. When Cannon repeated part of the list, Stern informed him he had missed Onyx Ice Cole. Onyx is Cannon’s daughter with LaNisha Cole, born in September 2022.

Cannon, who was able to name all 12 last month on The Shade Room, tried to deflect the mistake, saying Stern had “threw him off.” Stern briefly lamented “poor Onyx” and joked that the mistake would likely land Cannon in trouble before the conversation moved on. Previously in the interview, Stern had joked about the “theory” that Cannon has so many kids so he can find a kidney donor. It was a small hiccup in a long and wide-ranging interview, but social media was quick to jump on Cannon’s omission. However, there has not been a report of any public backlash from Cannon’s family. It was like a mistake made in the pressure of the moment and Cannon was big enough to own up to when called out. Maybe Cannon needs to carry a list around with him, just in case he is asked again.

Nick Cannon Is The Easter Bunny In New Pics With Bre Tiesi & Son

Nick Cannon and Bre Tiesi just posed for some cute photos celebrating Easter with their son Legendary. Moreover, the little one was surprised to see his father underneath his Easter Bunny costume, and they took some pictures in a yard strewn with eggs of all different colors. Of course, given that Cannon has to divide his time amid a lot of families, many think that this might anger his baby mamas. However, the real estate agent was quick to defend him, for example, when people accused him of skipping out on Valentine’s Day with Tiesi. Sure, he didn’t pop by physically from what she said, but Bre still expressed gratitude for the gifts he sent her.

Ain’t nobody miss s**t,” she responded to online detractors of Nick Cannon’s time management skills. “We celebrated each other over two days. You want so bad to make him a bad dad and partner y’all pathetic. And you follow me? So WEIRD.” What’s more is that this is a stance Bre Tiesi has often taken regarding her baby daddy. “Creating memories with my Cannon boys all season long!” she captioned a post of some family holiday pictures. “Legendary didn’t even bat an eye at Santa! He did love daddy burying him in the beans! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.”

Nick Cannon & Bre Tiesi Share Easter Pics With Son Legendary

Furthermore, she reportedly responded to a fan who praised Nick Cannon for always trying to support each of his twelve children. “Nick always shows up,” she allegedly shared. “Always present, happy, consistent, [a] loving parent and an even better person! We love you.” In yet another instance defending the Wild N’ Out host, she slammed claims that he was just a sugar daddy to Bre.

“KEEP MY PARENTING, MY KID, AND MY BABY DADDY’S NAME OUT [YOUR] MOUTH,” she vented on Instagram. “Nick is NOT my sugar daddy. Nick is MY F***IN CHILD’S FATHER. THAT IS ALL. Watch your f***ing mouth when you speak on mind.” Despite criticism that often comes Cannon’s way, at least he has people there to support him through it all. Whether it’s the best situation for each respective family is up to personal opinion, but it certainly shouldn’t be up to Twitter to decide whether he’s a bad dad. Regardless, there are some caveats to that narrative of constant support, so he remains as notorious as ever for all his love to give.
