Cardi B Fans Think She Just Dissed Nicki Minaj & JT During Her Instagram Live

While most of the Nicki Minaj and Cardi B beef is a battle between the Barbz and the Bardi Gang, sometimes these artists can fuel it too. Moreover, a lot of the latter group thinks that their fav sent shade to the Trinidadian superstar and to her former collaborator, JT. For those unaware, Nicki apparently unfollowed the former City Girl on Instagram (and Ice Spice, for that matter), which prompted someone to ask about that situation during Cardi’s recent Instagram Live. While it’s technically still up in the air whether she meant to address them, she did mention this commenter by name, and the comments themselves explicitly name these femcees.

“Freaky Marko, can you stop f***ing – I love you, but please stop mentioning these b***hes on my s**t,” Cardi B expressed during her IG Live, responding to @freakymarko’s question about Nicki Minaj and JT. “I love you to death, but don’t mention these h*es on my s**t. That s**t is just messy.” Interestingly enough, Nicki recently enlisted BIA for her upcoming tour, whom dissed Cardi on a track earlier this year.

Cardi B Seems To Shade Nicki Minaj & JT

Elsewhere, another possible development in this long-running beef came from Nicki Minaj, as she took to Twitter to seemingly respond to Cardi B flaunting her top status following her Inspiration Award win at the Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards. “Hi so let’s get into this right now,” Nicki tweeted. “I’m that Btch. That’s Number 1. Number 2. Revisit number one. If it means you gotta revisit that s**t 500 times a day, DO IT!!!!!!!! Before you EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! Think bout playing pon MY BOMBOROSCLOT HEADTOP!!!!!”

“I’m really my biggest critic and I always say this,” Cardi B said in her Impact Awards speech. “Nobody has it harder than in the industry and in every genre than a female rapper, and I’m going to tell you why. You have to have the best verse. Not only that, you have to kill the charts. On top of that, your personal life has to be perfect, or then the opp b***hes are going to use that against you.” We’ll see what happens next between these warring femcees.

SZA Geeks Out Over Fan-Made Bjork Mashups Of Their Biggest Hits

SZA is absolutely losing her marbles over discovering some fan-made Bjork mashups. According to Uproxx, the Icelandic singer was actually the one to unearth this frankly impressive concoctions. She sent them out on her X account and the St. Louis, Missouri product was in shock, but in a good way. ““I’M SORRY WHAATT?? I BEG UR F***ING PARDON !???”, and “DAAAAAAHHHH”, were her animated responses to learning about these two tracks. “PAGAN BARRYMORE” and “Hunter”/ ”Seek & Destroy” have both been on YouTube for several months to a year. However, its pretty cool that these two respective superstars are reacting to their fans in this manner.

It’s worth noting that SZA is a massive fan of Bjork’s. About two years ago, the SOS hitmaker went onto label her as the G.O.A.T. in her eyes. “I’ve always loved Björk. She’s the GOAT to me. From the way she was beating up reporters to the way she emotes in her music, she’s just the realest b**** alive”.

SZA Is A Bjork Superfan

In that same interview with EW, SZA recalled where her fandom started. “[An] iPod I found had a bunch of music, and [Bjork’s] music was on there. But I had already been listening to it because we did dances to it in high school. I was part of a company called Special Dance, and we did a dance to ‘Jóga’”. Additionally, around the release of her future SOS track “I Hate U”, she tweeted out in 2021 about talking with Bjork and how surreal it was. “Day 6 at number one and I’m texting Bjork rn . Life is as it should be .. sensational… I love you all so much . Please have a fire day”.

Prince Fans Slam John Legend For DNC Tribute

Yesterday, John Legend took the stage at the Democratic National Convention at Chicago’s United Center. He delivered a lively performance of Prince’s “Let’s Go Crazy,” joined by the late icon’s frequent collaborator Sheila E. The duo went on just before Tim Walz accepted the nomination for Vice President, though some believe they missed the mark.

Of course, Legend’s talent is undeniable, but social media users argue that the song simply wasn’t a good fit. Many think Sheila E would have been better off going solo, or alongside someone else entirely. Disgruntled viewers are sounding off about the tribute on X, calling the moment an “insult” to Prince’s legacy.

John Legend & Sheila E’s DNC Prince Tribute

“Who the hell decided that John Legend was the perfect pick to perform Let’s Go Crazy? Don’t do that sh*t again. Sheila E. and that guitarist alone was fire! #DNC,” one user writes. “I’m sorry but John Legend doesn’t have the singing style or voice of Prince. They should’ve got someone else to cover his song,” someone else claims. Fortunately, many others are coming to Legend’s defense, arguing that it was a fun tribute despite all the controversy it’s stirred up.

One part of the tribute that’s receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback is Ari O’Neal’s guitar performance. Fans think she stole the show and took the performance to the next level. “I don’t know who the guitarist was who was absolutely shredding with John Legend and Sheila E on ‘Let’s Go Crazy’ but I think I’m in love,” one supporter says on X. John Legend and Sheila E. weren’t the only artists to grace the stage at the event, as Lil Jon, Patti LaBelle, Mickey Guyton, and more have also performed. What do you think of John Legend and Sheila E’s Prince tribute? What about some fans claiming Legend was the wrong choice for it? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Snoop Dogg Commends Kendrick Lamar For Promoting Gang Unity In L.A. After Drake Beef

Snoop Dogg is one of Kendrick Lamar’s biggest West Coast elders in the rap game, and he couldn’t be prouder of his “Institutionalized” collaborator. Moreover, during a recent interview with Complex alongside Dr. Dre, he spoke on K.Dot’s recent “The Pop Out” event (which Dre was a special guest performer at) and how it promoted the unity of all of Los Angeles’ gangs. Specifically, Tha Doggfather responded to Vince Staples’ recent comments about how this peace process was in effect well before this Juneteenth show, which took place after Kendrick’s Drake beef. Still, Snoop explained how the former TDE lyricist publicized this solidarity even further.

“What Vince is saying is that a lot of neighborhoods have been uniting for a long time behind closed doors,” Snoop Dogg remarked. “But what Kendrick did was, he united the whole city, based off him being a king. Taking this violent situation, which is a rap beef, and creating peace and giving the homies an opportunity to come on stage, to engage in his video, to be a part of his movement, and to also move like he moves.

Their thoughts on K.Dot begin at the 9:50-minute mark.

“Because if you’re going to move with Kendrick, you got to move like Kendrick,” Snoop Dogg continued. “He’s about peace. He’s about love. He ain’t from no gang. He’s from a city full of gangs and he unites cities. So that’s what this was about. It’s a good move for the whole West Coast culture as far as rap is concerned because violence has always been a lead thing for us on our side. So if you can take a violent rap or a violent song and create peace out of it, he should be commended for that.”

“This s**t making me emotional,” Kendrick Lamar expressed while onstage with representatives of many different gangs at “The Pop Out.” “We been f***ed up since Nipsey [Hussle] died. We been f***ed up since Kobe [Bryant] died. This is unity at its finest. We done lost a lot of homies to this music s**t, to this street s**t. For all of us to be together on stage, that s**t is special. Everybody on this stage got fallen soldiers.”
