Jets Add Another Aaron Rodgers Link As Trade Talks Continue

Aaron Rodgers will be a Jet…eventually. As the veteran signal caller’s divorce from the Green Bay Packers continues to drag out, his likely new team is continuing to make all the preparations necessary for his arrival. However, when that arrival may occur is a complete unknown. Neither side appears especially rushed to make a decision, even with the 2023 draft and its all-important capital quickly approaching.

So far in the offseason, as the Jets prepare for Rodgers’ arrival, they have made a multitude of moves to make the new quarterback comfortable. They signed Wide Receiver Allen Lazard, formerly of the Packers and a so-called dealbreaker for Rodgers. They also nabbed Nathaniel Hackett to run the offense. Hackett was Green Bay’s OC between 2019 and 2021. They also have four top-100 picks in the upcoming draft and could add yet more talent to build around Rodgers. Furthermore, with a mid-first-round pick and two second-round picks, the Jets have the ability to be aggressive in moving up. And while the quarterback they signed Thursday was not Rodgers, it was yet another piece in the Rodgers’ puzzle.

Jets sign QB Tim Boyle

Career backup Tim Boyle signed a one-year deal with the Jets, becoming the third quarterback on the roster alongside Chris Streveler and Zach Wilson. The 28-year-old Boyle spent the 2022 season with the Bears and has thrown three touchdowns and eight interceptions in 16 career games. Boyle went undrafted in 2018 and signed as a free agent with the Packers. He stayed in Wisconsin until 2020, backing up Rodgers and Jordan Love. Boyle has three career starts, all coming in 2021 with the Lions.

It’s more evidence of the Jets making moves to give Rodgers an offense he can slot right into upon his arrival. Rodgers called Boyle “just a really special guy” in 2021, “I watched him grow and develop over the years with us, not just as a person, but as a player. He’s got a big-time arm, and he’s very athletic, as well.” While the move may seem inconsequential to most, it’s another clear sign that the Jets want the roster Rodgers-ready when he eventually arrives.

Former Jets QB Shoots Down Latest Aaron Rodgers Rumor

Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets feels like a done deal. Rodgers has recently admitted that he intends to be with the team this upcoming season. However, with the delay, there are some wondering if other teams would be interested. On Tuesday, rumors were reported that the San Francisco 49ers were now in the mix for Rodgers. Now it feels like that report is beginning to lose steam. For one former Jets QB, he doesn’t believe Rodgers ends up anywhere but New York.

Boomer Esiason, who spent a few years in New York, still believes the Jets are the landing spot. On his hit radio show, Boomer & Gio, Esiason gave his thoughts on the recent 49ers rumors. “That’s just not the way you want to conduct business — especially when you get an owner involved. [Woody Johnson] has got to get on his plane… and go talk to Aaron Rodgers, and Aaron Rodgers says he only wants to play for the Jets.” Esiason believes the motion has already been placed for the Jets to receive Rodgers.

Aaron Rodgers Will Be With The Jets Next Season

The idea of the Jets adding Rodgers has had fans in a frenzy. Jets fans are constantly looking for updates on the potential move. It seems as if compensation is the hold between the Packers and Jets. Green Bay can string this deal along until the Jets sweat a little. However, it seems as though the Jets are just waiting on word from Green Bay. The Packers-Aaron Rodgers relationship ended in a free fall. Rodgers has been frustrated with the organization in recent years regarding the draft and free agency.

The worst-kept secret in the league is still holding fans on edge. That is why reports of a new team entering the mix brought out many emotions. Seeing Rodgers in another uniform will take the entire league time to get used to. The situation mirrors the same predicament the Packers faced with the QB prior to Rodgers, in Brett Favre. Will the move make the Jets one of the favorites for next year’s Super Bowl? Or will the deal end up hurting both teams? Let us know your thoughts on the matter in the comment section below. Aaron Rodgers Potential Trade Deadline Revealed

It’s no secret that Aaron Rodgers is ready to move on from Green Bay. The Packers quarterback has stated his intentions to play for the New York Jets this coming season. While it seems both sides are ready to move on, nothing has yet to materialize. The season is still a few months away. However, it feels as if everyone involved is becoming impatient with the situation. The Jets and Packers would like to have their quarterback rooms ready before training camp. Nonetheless, the Packers could be letting this sit just out of spite.

The marriage between the Packers and Rodgers has been on the rocks for some time. Rodgers has had complaints about the team not drafting receivers early in the draft. Whereas the Packers have been frustrated with Rodgers’ recent playoff performances. Additionally, with the recent selection of QB Jordan Love, it feels the Packers have been ready to move on. While there seem to be a few moving parts before a deal can be set in stone. NBC Sports Peter King believes we finally have a date for the Rodgers-Packers finale.

Aaron Rodgers Heading To New York Is Inevitable

King is reporting what he believes will be the time frame fans will finally see the big deal be done. “I think the over/under date for the Aaron Rodgers trade is early evening April 28,” King wrote. “That’s when the second round of the NFL Draft begins. That’s when the first of likely two or three draft choices to be exchanged would happen. The Jets have the 11th and 12th picks in round two, 42nd and 43rd overall, and I’d bet one of those picks will be the key to this trade getting done.”

It looks as if fans will have to wait until the NFL Draft to see Rodgers in New York. The Packers have the opportunity to hold out for more draft capital. A great business decision for a team looking to rebuild. The Packers will more than likely be handing the offense over to an unproven Jordan Love. Just as they did a few years back for a quarterback named Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers’s time in Green Bay has come full circle. Now we wait to see another legendary Packers QB in a Jets uniform. Do you think the deal will go down during the draft? Should the Packers wait and see if New York becomes desperate? Sound off in the comment section below. Odell Beckham Jr.’s Most Likely Landing Spot Revealed

Odell Beckham Jr.’s last appearance on a football field was in 2022, helping the Los Angeles Rams win the Super Bowl. Unfortunately, Beckham tore his ACL in the game and missed all of last season. Beckham is still held in high regard among free-agent receivers looking for a home. According to Dan Graziano of ESPN, Beckham is fielding plenty of offers. While he may have his offers to choose from, who will land the superstar receiver?

Beckham has been a star in every stop he has made. He burst on the scene as a New York Giant. Then, created a tough tandem in Cleveland with Jarvis Landry. Beckham’s stop in Los Angeles seemed like the perfect opportunity for him. A chance to play with a high-caliber QB in Matthew Stafford. At the same time, he was lining up on the same side of the ball as Cooper Kupp. If reports are accurate, Beckham’s next stop may also include another high-caliber QB.

Is Odell Beckham Jr. Heading To The Concrete Jungle?

So Beckham has offers. Which of those deals looks the most appealing to the hungry receiver? The one team who seems most likely to land him would be the New York Jets. When the deal is inevitably done for Aaron Rodgers to be in New York, Odell could soon follow. However, the Baltimore Ravens are reportedly lying in the shadows waiting for OBJ. If the Ravens were to sign Beckham, it would be a huge reason for Lamar to stay. The Jets are looking to go from pretenders to contenders in just a calendar year.

Beckham is probably in no rush to decide his future. He certainly wouldn’t make a decision before seeing where Rodgers ends up this season. However, if the Jets score this duo, it could make them instant AFC East favorites. Although, the Dolphins and Bills won’t go down without a fight. Do you think the Jets are making the right decisions with OBJ and Rodgers? Just how far would the Jets go with them? Let us know in the comment section below. Aaron Rodgers Rumors: Packers Change Trade Demands

The Aaron Rodgers trade saga has yet to find its ending. Rodgers has expressed his intent on being a New York Jet this upcoming season. However, the Green Bay Packers want a good return on their investment. Rodgers made his decision to seek a trade after a darkness retreat. Yes, a darkness retreat, where he found the answers he had been looking for. Both sides in the trade talks seem to be in no rush to hurry the process. However, Green Bay may be changing its tune.

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk has revealed what he believes the Packers will receive in the trade. “I think they’re going to get a second-round pick from the Jets in this year, a second-round pick next year that can become a first-round pick depending upon what the Jets do with Aaron Rodgers this year, and on the back end, possibility that the Jets get something back from the Packers if he only plays one year, in 2025,” Florio said. While it may not be the haul Green Bay is expecting, both sides seem ready to move on.

When Will The Aaron Rodgers Trade Saga End?

Florio does seem to think that the Jets aren’t willing to give up the 13th pick in this year’s draft. The Jets may have a fear that the veteran QB will not be with the franchise long. A situation that has burnt the Jets in the past with Brett Favre. Just like Favre, the Rodgers-Packers marriage is ending in a blaze of glory. Rodgers brought the team one Super Bowl victory and countless playoff mishaps. A change of scenery could be a great decision for both.

It seems as if the Aaron Rodgers trade drama will never end. Maybe one day soon, the world will awake to the news that Rodgers is finally a Jet. Until then, the speculation will continue to grow. For a guy who claims he doesn’t want the spotlight, it seems to be on him a lot. What are your thoughts on the Aaron Rodgers trade demands? Is Green Bay asking for too much? Are the Jets getting a steal with the veteran QB? Please leave us your thoughts in the comment section below. To stay on top of all the Rodgers and NFL news, stay with us here at HNHH.

Odell Becham Jr.’s Feelings About Playing With Aaron Rodgers Revealed

Odell Beckham Jr. is one of the best wide receivers on the market. However, he has gone through some pretty significant injuries over the years. Overall, this has made it hard for some teams to sign him. OBJ believes he should be paid like a top-tier talent. That said, his ACL tears are driving down his value, and it remains to be seen if he will accept that. Either way, there is a market for Beckham Jr. and fans are excited to see where he may end up.

One team that could use Odell is the Kansas City Chiefs. Mecole Hardman recently signed with the Jets which means Patrick Mahomes needs some weapons. OBJ would be perfect for that offense and we’re sure Mahomes agrees. Although now, another team has entered the OBJ sweepstakes. Ironically enough, that team is the Jets. They are on the cusp of landing Aaron Rodgers who has made it abundantly clear that he would love to play with Odell. These two would make an incredible duo and Jets fans are just salivating at the possibilities.

Odell To The Jets?

On the latest episode of Get Up!, Jeff Darlington spoke about the Jets’ situation. Based on the clip above, it is clear that the interest between both sides is mutual. Overall, this should be music to the ears of Jets fans everywhere. In fact, Darlington went so far as to say that he would be surprised if Odell ended up anywhere other than the Jets. The team knows that bringing him in will make Aaron Rodgers happy, and if there is anything we’ve seen over the past few years, it’s that Rodgers always gets what he wants.

While OBJ to the Jets is a real possibility, it could be a while before it happens. There are still some evaluations that need to take place first. Moreover, there is always a chance for another team to swoop in and give him a better offer. Let us know where you want to see Odell go, in the comments down below. Aaron Rodgers has emerged from the darkness and will join the New York Jets. Appearing on his weekly segment with Pat McAfee, AR12 revealed that he will “play for the New York Jets.”

According to ESPN, Rodgers is still a member of the Green Bay Packers for now, but both teams are currently discussing a deal as the Wisconsin team wants to move on.

“I made it clear my intention was to play and to play for the New York Jets, and I haven’t been holding anything up. It’s the compensation that the Packers are trying to get. … The Packers want to move on and have let me know that in so many words,” Rodgers said.

Rodgers revealed when he began his darkness retreat, he was leaning 90% toward retirement but opted to return to football. Rodgers also stated the return to Green Bay was a “bittersweet” decision.

“I f—ing love that city. I love that organization and always going to have love for that organization. The facts are right now they want to move on, and now so do I,” Rodgers said.

The quarterback noted the Jets have his offensive coordinator from the Packers and more as reasons to come over. The Jets have already added his Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard on a four-year, $44 million deal.

During his time on the show, Rodgers detailed he was agitated by the reports about his decision and demands, specifically from ESPN reporters Diana Russini and Adam Schefter. Rodgers revealed that Schefter reached out for insight, which he received none of.

“Ask Schefter what I texted him when he somehow got my number… LOSE MY NUMBER.”

Schefter confirmed the message.

For the Jets, their Super Bowl odds have skyrocketed to +1400. Do you think the Aaron Rodgers and Jets experiment will work out?

Aaron Rodgers Confirms He Wants To Play For The Jets

Throughout this entire week, fans have been wondering what Aaron Rodgers is going to do next. Of course, he is one of the most polarizing players in the league. Moreover, he is a phenomenal quarterback who can do incredible things on the field. However, every single offseason, he takes some time to reflect on whether or not he wants to play again. Just a few weeks ago, he did just that by going into a darkness retreat. Subsequently, Rodgers came out of the darkness and fans were even more confused than they were before.

Last week, it was revealed that the New York Jets had actually traveled to meet with Rodgers as they wanted to trade for him. Overall, the meeting seemed to go quite well. This was backed up earlier in the week when premature reports stated how a Rodgers trade to the Jets was imminent. Since that time, fans have been waiting for Rodgers to make up his mind. Yesterday, it was revealed that he would give his decision on The Pat McAfee Show today at 1 PM EST. In the end, he revealed that his mind was made up days ago as Rodgers does, indeed, want to play in New York.

Aaron Rodgers Tells All

Overall, Rodgers went in-depth on the past few weeks. Essentially, he went into his retreat thinking he would retire. However, he came out and saw that the Packers wanted to shop him. That’s when he decided that maybe it would be best to play for at least one more year. He liked what the Jets were promising him, and so he told them his intentions. As for the trade. Rodgers says it is just a matter of time before it happens. The Packers just want to get what they believe Rodgers is worth, which means there could be a few more negotiations.

Regardless, it has become clear that Rodgers and the Packers are no more. Overall, it was an amazing relationship that led to one Super Bowl. Now, Rodgers will get to turn the Jets into playoff contenders. Whether or not they contend for the Super Bowl, is still up in the air. Let us know what you think about all of this, in the comments below.

Premature Aaron Rodgers Trade Report Sends Twitter Into A Frenzy

Aaron Rodgers is currently the biggest story in the NFL world. Overall, this is because he could very well be going to the New York Jets. For the third-straight offseason, he is teasing a departure from the Green Bay Packers. However, he always seems to go back to his former team. Although, it seems like this time is actually a whole lot different. For instance, last week, he met with the Jets and made it seem like he is actually very interested in what they have to offer.

Today is the start of NFL free agency, which means players can sign with whomever they want. Consequently, all of the insiders on Twitter want to get that first scoop. Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport are the GOATs when it comes to NFL scoops. Although, there are some up-and-comers who are trying to take the crown. Unfortunately, this has led to some misinformation. For instance, earlier today, Dov Kleiman took to Twitter and said Aaron Rodgers to the Jets was a done deal. Moreover, he used Trey Wingo of all people as the source.

Aaron Rodgers To New York…Not!

As you can see above, Kleiman quickly retracted his reporting as soon as Ian Rapoport refuted it on the NFL Network. Despite this, the damage was done for about 10 minutes as fans acted as though Aaron Rodgers had, indeed, been traded. The reactions were a huge frenzy of football fans who could not believe Rodgers was going somewhere other than the Packers. Additionally, it led to jubilation among Jets fans. However, these same Jets fans had their hearts ripped out when they found out that the report was truly bogus.

Now, the Aaron Rodgers saga only gets that much more frustrating. Every offseason we are left waiting on whatever Rodgers wants to do. It is almost as if he is holding all of us, including the franchise that drafted him, hostage. Hopefully, we get some more clarity on all of this throughout the week. Stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news from the sports world. Additionally, let us know what you think of this saga, down below.

Aaron Rodgers Is Reportedly Down To Two Options

Aaron Rodgers is someone who is always making headlines. Overall, the quarterback is in a unique situation. He can either stay with the Green Bay Packers, or he could go elsewhere. Additionally, he could even just retire and go to the woods to do shrooms. The possibilities are truly endless for the Green Bay Packers quarterback. However, as we already know, Rodgers is someone who is truly indecisive. He never knows what he wants to do, and it makes it difficult for his team to prepare for the future.

This past week, Rodgers met with the New York Jets. The Jets are a team that is in need of a quarterback, and Rodgers fits the bill. Overall, many from the Jets organization were confident following their meeting. Furthermore, the Packers and Jets have reportedly agreed to a potential trade in case Rodgers decides he wants to go to New York. Although, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Rodgers still hasn’t made his decision. This is problematic for the Jets, who could lose out on other free-agent QBs if Rodgers ultimately decides not to go to New York.

Aaron Rodgers: The Decision

Additionally, based on Schefter’s reporting, it seems like Rodgers has just two options. Those options are to go to the Jets or to retire altogether. The Packers are already talking about Rodgers in the past tense, which showcases how they are ready to move on. After all, they have Jordan Love who is ready to begin his journey as the team’s starting quarterback. Either way, Rodgers is taking up a lot of space right now, and many are sick of it.

The Jets were a great team this past year, however, their quarterbacks were awful. If they had someone like Rodgers, they could easily get back to the postseason. Until then, they will be destined for 8-9 and 9-8 finishes within the AFC East. With free agency off to a hot start, it will be interesting to see where Rodgers shakes out. Let us know what you think the QB should do, down in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from the sports world.
