Peezy is the latest rapper to endorse Donald Trump after seeing his new, gold, U.S flag-donning, $400 sneakers. Moreover, he took to social media to share his desire to cop a pair and his support of No. 45, while dissing current president Joe Biden and his VP Kamala Harris. “I’m tying to find my n***a Donald Trump’s gym shoes, man,” the Detroit rapper shared in a new clip. “The Trump 1s, man. If anybody got them b***hes in 13, call me. F**k Joe Biden, I’m rocking with Trump. F**k Kamala Harris, I rock with Trump. Free Trump! Free Big Slime! If you got the motherf***ing gold 1s, call me! I want them right now!”

Furthermore, this is what Fox News’ Raymond Arroyo said about the shoes and about how he thinks folks will react. “This is connecting with Black America because they love sneakers. This is a big deal, certainly in the inner city. So when you have Trump roll out his sneaker line, they’re like, ‘Wait a minute, this is cool.’ He’s reaching them on a level that defies and is above politics.” Needless to say, Peezy is the exception and not the rule, because Arroyo got absolutely cooked for this take.

In fact, you may recall another curious rap crossover that happened concerning these new Trump sneakers. Kanye West apparently shared a clip of the shoes’ reveal on Instagram with the caption along the lines of “This made me smile.” That’s because the clip in question made it seem like the indicted former president played Ye’s song “CARNIVAL” over the reveal. It’s unclear whether he edited this himself or he fell for someone else’s trolling, but it definitely wasn’t the song that the 77-year-old played.

Meanwhile, another recent endorsement of the Republican candidate came from none other than Snoop Dogg, who had dissed him before. Actually, this comment almost prevented Snoop’s Death Row affiliate Harry-O from receiving his presidential pardon. We’ll see what other rappers decide to give in and wear their ugliest red hat for this surely chaotic upcoming election. Kanye West Remixes Donald Trump Sneaker Reveal With “CARNIVAL”

If you didn’t already hear, Donald Trump bizarrely unveiled his new sneaker line at Sneaker Con in Philly on Saturday (February 17). Apparently the 1,000 available pairs already sold out at about $400 each, and the “NEVER SURRENDER HIGH-TOP” is a pretty ugly golden shoe with a U.S. flag plastered onto it. But that’s not what caught a lot of hip-hop heads’ attention about these shoes. Instead, it has to do with one of the disgraced former president’s strongest allies, and former competitor, within pop culture: Kanye West. According to The Neighborhood Talk, he posted a clip of Trump’s sneaker reveal on his Instagram Story with the caption: “This made me smile.”

Furthermore, since this clip is not on Ye’s IG page at press time, we can’t confirm for sure whether he really posted this or this is just an edit. Regardless, it was particularly notable because the video included a snippet of Kanye West, Ty Dolla $ign, Rich The Kid, and Playboi Carti’s song “CARNIVAL” instead of the actual music Donald Trump played during this reveal. It would’ve still made sense if he played the track, though. After all, what better way to soundtrack a bigot than with another?

All that aside, the Chicago artist did legitimately establish his support of Donald Trump for the 2024 election recently. This is after his own presidential campaign for this season failed to materialize, and following an unsuccessful run back in 2020. Kanye West doesn’t seem to be harping on this as much as he was a couple of years ago, which is at least an improvement. However, with all the controversies involved with them right now, we can’t say that this is a net positive reunion for anyone.

Meanwhile, with more listening events on the horizon for the 46-year-old, we’ll see what else is in his antics bag. As for No. 45… we can’t wait to laugh at how he will style his sneakers with a regular suit. Should make for a nice meme, at least. Nike Air Humara Returns In OG Colorway

Initially hitting the shelves in 1997, the Nike Air Humara has continued to remain a pertinent staple dad shoe. For decades following its debut after a brief hiatus, the Air Humara is set to make yet another iconic return later this month. Several collaborations were released featuring the Air Humara prior to the announcement of this newest sneaker release.

Supreme released a Supreme X Air Humara collab back in 2017. The collab offered four different colorways including black, pink, blue, and green. Last December, Nike and French label Jacquemus collaborated on an Air Humara. Made out of sustainable materials, the sneaker debuted in two colorways including Light Bone and Gold and Pink Flash/Pink Prime/Gold. This original colorway of the Air Humara is from 1996. Now classic colorway is back in a modern light.

A navy blue and silver hue is across the overall presentation of the shoe. The hues are seen decorating the smooth leather overlays as well as the midsoles. The latter is complemented by solid black checkered pattern designs. Navy blue mesh makes up the tongues, toe boxes, heels, and quarter panels. Additionally, notes of bronze are sprinkled across the Swooshes on the lateral and medial panels.
