Lil Dicky Was Humiliated By Chris Brown, John Wall, And Deontay Wilder At A Celebrity Basketball Game, And The Story Is Hilarious

Lil Dicky joined Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce for this week’s episode of New Heights, and the episode was packed with Lil Dicky’s signature self-deprecating charm. Around the 40-minute mark, Jason asked Lil Dicky whether he’d had a “welcome to the industry” moment.

“Another story I’ve never told that just came into my head that’s perfect for this moment,” Lil Dicky said. The Dave mastermind then took the audience back to the 2015 BET Experience Sprite Celebrity Basketball Game. Back then, Lil Dicky still had imposter syndrome and did not feel like he belonged on the same roster as Floyd Mayweather, Snoop Dogg, Chris Brown, and John Wall.

“I don’t know how I got in the game to the point where I actually put a lot of stock and import in this game,” he explained. “I got there an hour early to warm up because I literally thought a way that I could get ahead in this industry faster will be, like, scoring 30 points in this game.”

Instead, Lil Dicky was on the bench, and while Chris Brown called Lil Dicky “a dope rapper” pre-game, he also rained on Lil Dicky’s parade. John Wall was the team’s coach and eventually told Dicky he could go in as a substitute for Brown.

“I walk up to Chris, and I’m like, ‘Yo, I’m in for you,’” Lil Dicky said. “And he goes, ‘I’m not coming out.’ Then, there’s 11 guys on the court. Everyone is matched up. I’m clearly the odd man. I look to John Wall, like, ‘Coach!’ And John Wall brings me back over. [The] first thing I say is, like, ‘John, get a grip and have some authority on your team.’ It’s humiliating to send me out there and then pull me back in. It’s so emasculating.”

Once Lil Dicky finally got in the game, he was rewarded by getting “fouled so hard by Deontay Wilder — at the time, heavyweight champion of the world.” He concluded, “I get up. I missed two free throws, and then I played one more meaningless minute. I moved to the end of the bench and just chose not to even make myself available for the rest of the game.”

Travis Kelce And Brother Jason Address Kansas City Chiefs Parada Shooting

Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs were looking to celebrate their Super Bowl last Wednesday in Kansas City. They got to do this with their parade that goes across the city. At the end of the parade, the team had a speech on a stage and it was all supposed to be celebratory. However, things got out of hand when shots rang off. Numerous people were shot and one person was killed. Overall, it was truly a tragic event and it had many in the community reeling. Even now, people are looking for answers as to what happened.

Furthermore, some fans have been waiting for the team’s stars to speak out on what went down. Travis Kelce is one of them. Well, on Monday, he and his brother released a clip from New Heights in which they discuss everything that went down. You can tell that Travis and Jason were pretty shaken up about the whole thing. However, Jason was impressed with the resiliency of the people in the city. “One of the things that’s evident is how much Kansas City is coming together and rallying around the people that have been affected by this,” he said.

Furthermore, the two brothers noted that it would be good to donate to the victim’s fund. Overall, that money will do a great deal for the families that have been affected. Travis also went on to thank the fans in Kansas City, noting that they will be back stronger than ever. “92%ers, we appreciate you. Kansas City and Chiefs Kingdom, we love you guys. We’re with you guys and we’ll see you guys soon,” the tight end explained.

Travis Kelce Declares “Kelce Halloween” After His Taylor Swift Romance Inspires Countless Costumes

Travis Kelce loved seeing the number of people who dressed up as him for Halloween. “It was a Kelce Halloween. So cool,” Kelce said on the podcast he does with his brother. However, Jason Kelce wasn’t so enthused about the idea. “It was pretty creepy watching that many people be us, but it was awesome,” the Eagles center said.

Traylor costumes could be seen all over the country, as well as in the mainstream media. Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuela donned the outfit for Live With Kelly & Mark. Meanwhile, Bradley Cooper dressed up as Kelce while his 6-year-old daughter took inspiration from Swift’s video for “22”. Kelce and Swift reportedly spent Halloween together. However, there’s no word on what the duo themselves dressed up as. Despite this, Travis did do the New Heights episode dressed as the sun. Jason, however, chose not to dress up for the episode.

Kelce Family Strained By Traylor Attention

However, Jason’s reaction to “Kelce Halloween” might be indicative of a wider issue. According to a TMZ report earlier this week, immediate members of the Kelce family, namely matriarch Donna, patriarch Ed, and the aforementioned Jason, are all starting to be a little worn down by all the constant attention the couple is receiving. Personal phones won’t stop ringing and their social media is a constant wave of DMs.

Despite this, they are reportedly willing to endure because Travis is so happy with Taylor. Swift is currently in tour prep mode as they prepares to head to South America for a handful of Eras Tour shows to close out the year. She wasn’t at the Chiefs last game, ironically their first loss since she started dating Kelce. Furthermore, she’s unlikely going to be at the Chiefs’ next game – a trip to Frankfurt, Germany to place the Dolphins. While the Chiefs are on a bye after their Germany trip, Kelce is not expected to join Swift in South America.

Travis Kelce Breaks His Silence On Taylor Swift, Plays Coy About Relationship Status

Travis Kelce is the talk of the town right now. Overall, there is a very good reason for this. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is seemingly dating Taylor Swift. Rumors of a romance between these two began swirling just a couple of weeks ago. Subsequently, things got more intense as Swift showed up to a Chiefs game and watched it next to Kelce’s mom, Donna. It was a whirlwind at Arrowhead Stadium that helped propel the team to an incredible 41-10 victory against the pathetic Chicago Bears.

Following the game, it was reported that Kelce and Swift showed up at a restaurant together. Moreover, some of his teammates ended up joining them as they rented out the entire restaurant. Now that Swift has gone back on the road and Kelce looks forward to his next game, the tight end is breaking his silence on everything that went down. On the new episode of New Heights, Kelce broke down the situation.

“Shout out to Taylor for pullin’ up; that was pretty ballsy, that was pretty ballsy, yeah. I just thought it was awesome how everybody in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her, you know?” Kelce said. “The friends, the family. She looked amazing, everybody was talking about her in a great light, and on top of that, the day went perfect for Chiefs fans, of course. We script it all, ladies and gentlemen. It was just impressive. It was impressive. To see the slow-motion chest bumps, to see the high-fives with mom, to see how, you know, Chiefs kingdom was all excited that she was there, that sh*t was absolutely hysterical, and it was definitely a game I’ll remember, that’s for damn sure.”

Following these comments, Jason asked Travis if he cared to comment on the state of their relationship. In the end, Travis politely declined, noting that he wanted to be respectful of both of their personal lives. Additionally, he is going to do a lot of NFL media this year, and he doesn’t want to put himself in a position where it is all he talks about.
