Tory Lanez’s Lawyer Reacts To Megan Thee Stallion Revealing She Lied About Sleeping With Lanez

Today, Megan Thee Stallion finally unveiled her new Prime Video documentary, In Her Words. The doc arrived along with some unexpected revelations, including that she once lied to Gayle King. According to the femcee, she wasn’t totally truthful when asked about the extent of her relationship with Tory Lanez during their 2022 interview.

“Yes, b***h, I lied to Gayle King, b***h,” Meg stated. “First of all, I ain’t know that b***h was even going to ask me about that s**t, b***h. I thought we was going to talk about the shooting. Tory Lanez Lawyer, Ceasar McDowell, Claims Megan Thee Stallion Revelation Makes Her An Allegedly “Unreliable Witness”

Meg’s admission has unsurprisingly earned big reactions on social media, and even from Lanez’s lawyer, Ceasar McDowell. During a recent chat with TMZ, he shared his take on the debacle, suggesting that it could allegedly say something about Meg’s overall honesty. “The fact that Megan lied about her sexual relationship with Tory obviously makes her an unreliable witness,” he alleged in his statement. “If someone lies in front of millions of people, how can you trust what they say any other time?”

While some social media users feel the same way, many are coming to her defense, and noting how she admitted to sleeping with Lanez during her testimony at his trial. Chris Brown Accuser Shares Disturbing New Details Of Alleged Rape At Diddy Party

Later this month, Investigation Discovery is set to unveil its new documentary, Chris Brown: A History of Violence. The doc will explore the allegations of abuse coming from several women, including one alleged victim who accuses Brown of sexual assault. According to the Daily Beast, the anonymous woman claims that the alleged assault took place at one of Diddy’s yacht parties.

At the event, she alleges that Brown led her to a bedroom where the alleged assault took place. “Chris Brown raped me… And I can say that, and I know it for a fact. Instead of telling myself that it wasn’t. It was. It was rape,” she alleges. She also alleges that Brown drugged her, and kissed her repeatedly in attempts to stifle her cries.

The woman went on to hit Brown with a $20 million lawsuit after the alleged assault, which was eventually dismissed. This was due to “conflicting text message records,” according to the Daily Beast, and her lawyer Ariel Mitchell withdrawing from the case. At the time, Brown had fired back at the woman’s lawsuit by alleging that texts and voicemails she sent after the alleged encounter proved that she was lying. Allegedly, these messages showed her trying to hang out with Brown again, saying positive things about their alleged encounter, and more.

While this particular accuser has chosen to stay anonymous, not all of them have. Earlier this month, one of Brown’s alleged victims Liziane Gutierrez came forward, explaining why she chose to participate in ID‘s documentary. “Several women agreed to participate and share their stories. We all went through a similar situation,” she alleged. “We can’t be against domestic violence and simply ignore some cases or even worse blame the victim.” What do you think of the disturbing new details revealed by a woman who was allegedly assaulted by Chris Brown? Beyonce’s “Cowboy Carter” Inspires New Documentary, “Call Me Country”

Beyonce’s new country album, Cowboy Carter, and its impact on the genre will be the focus of an upcoming documentary from CNN FlashDocs titled, Call Me Country. The production is expected to be available later this month, according to The Tennessean. John and T.J. Osborne of Brothers Osborne, Rissi Palmer, Aaron Vance, and Denitia will all sit down for interviews during the piece.

“Beyoncé’s highly anticipated album Cowboy Carter, released March 29, arrived during a revolution within country music as the latest arena of the culture wars in America,” Warner Brothers Discovery said in a statement as noted by HipHopDX. “Some in the industry are welcoming more diverse artists, while others stick to a much narrower view of a genre that predominately centers around straight, white men.”

Despite ample praise for Beyonce’s newest effort, several voices have derided the project publically. Most recently, Courtney Love admitted she didn’t like the album during an interview with Standard. “I like the idea of Beyonce doing a country record because it’s about Black women going into spaces where previously only white women have been allowed, not that I like it much. As a concept, I love it. I just don’t like her music,” the Hole singer explained. Before that, Azaelia Banks made headlines for criticizing Beyonce’s project. “Sis, I live for Whiteyonce Donatella Bianca Bardot DOWN, but I’m kind of ashamed at how [you] switch from Baobab trees and Black Parade to this literal pick me stuff,” she wrote on Instagram back in March.

Cowboy Carter debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, with 407,000 album-equivalent units, after releasing on March 29. Country legends Dolly Parton, Linda Martell, and Willie Nelson appear on the project. Be on the lookout for further updates on Beyonce on HotNewHipHop.
