LeBron James Teases His Return To The Court

LeBron James has missed some action over the past couple of weeks. Of course, this is due to the fact that he has been dealing with an ankle injury. Overall, this is an injury that could have derailed the Lakers’ season. However, in the aftermath of this injury, the Lakers have actually been quite good. As it stands, they are in the play-in, which is great news for their fans. Once the play-in comes around, it will be anyone’s game, and the Lakers certainly have the pieces to shock a few people.

Regardless, everyone wants James to return before the playoffs. If this team has any chance of truly making a solid deep run, then they will need LeBron to be healthy. Unfortunately, James is now 38 years old which means he cannot heal as fast as he used to. Either way, there is a hope that he will at least return by the play-in. This is when James truly shines, and the Lakers feel like they can shock some of the teams at the top of the Western Conference standings.

LeBron Takes To The Gram

On Tuesday, LeBron decided to surprise some fans with a unique post on social media. In the Instagram image above, you can see LeBron in some sort of cryo-chamber with a mask on. This is an AI-generated image, and the caption is simply a king’s crown emoji and an hourglass emoji. Overall, it is hard to say what LeBron is truly trying to convey here. However, using context clues, you might be able to guess that he is healing up and trying to get back on the court. Unfortunately, an exact timeline for this still eludes us.

LeBron recently broke the NBA scoring record, and fans want to see him run his numbers up. Although, for LeBron, the goal right now is to make an improbable playoff run. After missing the playoffs last year, he wants to prove to people that he can lead a championship contender. Let us know what you think about all of this, in the comments down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the basketball world.

Kendrick Perkins Delivers Reality Check To The Warriors

Kendrick Perkins is one of the more polarizing figures on sports talk television. Overall, he was making headlines for all of the wrong reasons last week. This was due to the fact that he said that Nikola Jokic is a stat-padder. Moreover, he insinuated that the MVP voters are racist. This eventually led to a callout from JJ Redick that went viral. Needless to say, not everyone respects Perkins’ opinion. However, he is someone who can make for great ratings at ESPN, and that is why he remains employed.

With the playoffs on the horizon, there are now plenty of hot takes floating around. This is especially true as it pertains to the Western Conference. There are plenty of teams that could contend, and First Take is trying to figure it all out. For instance, today, Stephen A. Smith and Perkins had a debate about the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers. Overall, they were trying to decipher which team has the best chance at going far in the playoffs.

Kendrick Perkins Speaks

Ultimately, Perkins came through with some love for the Los Angeles Lakers. Of course, he typically does this because LeBron is on the team. Over the years, Perkins has been incredibly biased toward LeBron, and today was no exception. Consequently, Kendrick Perkins even tried to hit the Warriors with a reality check. Simply put, he thinks their time in the spotlight is officially over. “The Golden State Warriors, their championship days are OVER!” Perkins explained. However, this is a team that always finds a way to win, so perhaps Perkins is getting too far ahead of himself right now.

Overall, the Warriors are sixth in the West. Meanwhile, the Lakers are in 10th. Despite this, there are only about two wins separating these two teams right now. It just goes to show that the Western Conference is incredibly open this season. Whether or not the Lakers or the Warriors go further than one another, still remains to be seen. Let us know if you think Perkins is right, down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from the sports world.

Ja Morant Strip Club Photos Surface Online

Ja Morant is currently in the news for all of the wrong reasons. As it stands, he has been suspended indefinitely for wielding a gun at a strip club. Moreover, he has been accused of threatening teenagers on multiple occasions. Overall, it is a fairly dangerous trend that has many of his fans worried about his future in the NBA. However, Morant has since taken accountability, and there is no doubt that he will work hard at rehabilitating his image. After all, big brands like Powerade have already put the kibosh on some of his advertisements. This is a big deal that could ultimately cost him money.

These days, it is fairly hard to find a positive story about Morant. Although, it seems as though he is finally catching a break. Recently, the New York Post obtained images from the strip club that Morant went to in Colorado. Below, you can see Morant receiving a lap dance, while dollar bills are spread all over the floor and furniture. Additionally, Morant received a glowing review from the owner of the establishment, who said “This kid, real young, was exceptionally respectful, and sweet and he did not drink, he’s marvelous.”

Ja Morant Blows A Bag

Unfortunately, these photos are a huge invasion of privacy and make the strip club itself look bad. You can’t be out here exposing your clientele, especially when they are high-profile people. As many fans exclaimed on Twitter, revealing these photos to the public could very well hurt their business. If you’re famous, why even risk going there and having your business flaunted all over social media? That said, it seems like Morant is getting some positive attention here, which isn’t so bad.

Overall, the Morant situation has been pretty hard to watch. He is an amazing player, and you hate to see a great player go down a dark road. However, the path to redemption is there, and we hope to see him succeed. The league is a lot more fun when he is playing. Let us know what you think of the situation, down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from the sports world.

Dillon Brooks Claps Back At Draymond Green After Grizzlies Blow Out Warriors

Dillon Brooks of the Memphis Grizzlies has been embroiled in a pretty heated beef with none other than Draymond Green. Overall, it is very clear that these two men do not like each other. In fact, Green recently made some scathing comments on his podcast. Following some less-than-favorable remarks from Brooks, Green subsequently lambasted the Canadian baller.

“If you ever wondered why the Memphis Grizzlies is not ready to compete for a championship, look no further than this idiot right here,” Green said. “They’re actually depending on this guy to help them win a championship. And he says his game is cool. Quite frankly, that just shows how little you know about basketball. … Your level of understanding the game of basketball is at a fan level.” On Thursday night, Brooks was given a chance to respond on the court. Although he scored two less points than Draymond, his team came through with a blowout win. Moreover, Brooks was a pest all game long and it left Green frustrated. This then led to some great comments from Dillon Brooks after the game.

Dillon Brooks Responds

“You should give the mic to Draymond,” Brooks told the reporter. “Make him keep talking about me so I can play better.” While some fans might be rolling their eyes at these words, you cannot deny how great this rivalry is. The Grizzlies and the Warriors hate each other a lot. Furthermore, they are the third and sixth seeds which means they would fight it out in the postseason. The last series between these two was very fun, and we would get to see it all over again.

If you are Draymond, you cannot help but feel a bit punked in this situation. He talked a whole lot of smack about Brooks and ultimately lost the day after. Overall, it is a pretty embarrassing way to go out. That said, the next game between these two will be even better. Let us know your thoughts on this rivalry, down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from the sports world.

Zion Williamson Gets More Bad News

Zion Williamson is a player who has struggled quite a bit when it comes to injuries over the years. Overall, this is incredibly unfortunate as Williamson is a tremendous talent. He is someone who can change the game in an instant, and his athleticism is unmatched. However, Pelicans fans haven’t been able to see much of this due to his frequent injury status. Every year, it feels like Zion is dealing with something new. Consequently, the Pelicans have struggled to find the success that they envisioned when they drafted him.

This season, Williamson had the Pelicans looking like one of the best teams in the league. Although, once he got hit with a hamstring injury, the Pelicans took a dive. Since then, they have fallen out of the NBA playoff picture, and it will be difficult for them to get back there. At this point, the fans would do anything to have Williamson back on the floor. According to a new report from Brian Windhorst of ESPN, however, it does not seem like that will be possible.

Zion Williamson Setback Gets Worse

As Windhorst explains, Williamson’s setback in regard to his hamstring injury is actually quite significant. Furthermore, he said that the star is “not close” to coming back to the court. Given the fact that there are less than 20 games to go in the season, it can be said that we will not see Williamson again until the next campaign. For the Pelicans, this is an absolutely disastrous scenario for them. They will now have to try and make the play-in without their best player. Overall, it is a horrible development for them, and it is one that they have experienced all too often.

Zion is an electrifying player and to see him go through all of this has been very frustrating. Fans just want him to be at his best, and his body is not letting him do that right now. Hopefully, that will change as he matures. Until then, the Pelicans will have to rely on what they have. Be sure to stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the basketball world.

What Happened To Russell Westbrook?

If you are a fan of the NBA, then Russell Westbrook is a name known to many. Whether you love or hate him, Westbrook is arguably one of the best point guards in the league and undoubtedly a future Hall of Famer.

If you have paid any attention during the NBA trade deadline, then you may have noticed Russell Westbrook landing a new home not once but twice since being traded from the Lakers. First, on February 8th, the Lakers entered a 3-team deal with Minnesota and Utah, with Utah ultimately landing Russell Westbrook. Then comes February 20th, when the Utah Jazz waived Westbrook, and on February 22nd, the Los Angeles Clippers announced the signing of Russell Westbrook.

Lakers Season 2021

Since joining the Lakers roster in 2021 and playing two seasons with them, Russell Westbrook was always the topic to talk about in Los Angeles. In the 2021 season, Russel Westbrook played a total of 78/82 regular season games for the Lakers. In that timeframe, he played for an average of 34.3 minutes per game and had an average of 18.5 points per game. He averaged 44.4% from the field goal and 29.8% from the 3pt line for his shooting stats. He averages 7.4 per game for rebounds, 7.1 assists per game, 1.0 steals per game, and 0.3 blocks per game.

Lakers Season 2022

The 2022 season for Russell Westbrook is where things started to shift in the wrong direction. This season he played a total of 52 games before being traded and averaged 28.7 minutes per game, the lowest amount he has played in his career. He averaged 15.9 points, his second-lowest points stat line in his career. He averaged 41.7% from the field goal and 29.6% from the 3pt line. Westbrook averaged 6.2 rebounds, 7.5 assists, 1.0 steals, and 0.4 blocks per game.

Between his two Lakers seasons, 2021 was a better year for the point guard as he maintained a higher stat rate than his 2022 year. However, we do have to consider that he was traded in the middle of the 2022 season. In addition, his stat line will vary since he left for the Clippers, so we need to find out how well he could have done for the remainder of the Lakers season.

Lakers Environment

Russell Westbrook has been very vocal about his time as a Laker, especially about the crowd and fans. He even said he didn’t want his kids to attend home games. The fans were very hostile toward Russell and were sarcastic towards him when he did play well. Furthermore, he talked about how the vibes were awkward with them and even had problems with many of them.

Before the Westbrook trade, the Lakers had the probability of trading him after the season. On the ClutchPoints website, they said this about Westbrook, “It might cost the Lakers two future first-round picks, but Russ will probably be traded after this season. His one campaign in Los Angeles has been historically disastrous. He will be blamed (unfairly) for a trade that dismantled a championship-proven squad and hamstrung the team’s future.”

Career Statistics for Russell Westbrook

Looking back on Russell Westbrook’s career, he has thrived back in his time as an OKC Thunder starting in 2008. He played with them until 2018, then was traded to the Rockets in 2019 and the Wizards in 2020, became a Laker for the 2021-2022 season, and finally stayed in L.A. only to be a Clipper.

In his career, Westbrook has played a total of 1,079 games averaging 34.4 minutes per game. He has averaged 22.4 points per game, averaging 43.7% from the field goal and 30.4% from the 3pt line. In addition, he has averaged 7.3 rebounds, 8.4 assists, 1.6 steals, and 0.3 blocks per game.

Looking back at his overall stats in his career, his time at the Lakers has been relatively his worse performance-wise. Whether to blame Westbrook or his team for his statistics is debatable. Furthermore, from the times we’ve seen him play, he was subjected to many missed points, bad call-making, and fouling. Additionally, statistic-wise, and being the big-time player that he is, he underperformed for the Lakers. From that alone, it makes us wonder if his time and contract for the Lakers was worth it or not.

Clippers Season so far

After stealing the starting position from Terance Mann, Russell Westbrook has started to put up some decent numbers since debuting for the Clippers. Westbrook has played a total of 6 games, and from the time of this article, the Clippers are 1-5 since adding Westbrook. He has played an average of 31.7 minutes since joining. He has been averaging 15.3 points with a 52.1% from the field goal and 27.8% from the 3pt line. For his career so far, he has averaged 4.0 rebounds, 8.3 assists, 1.5 steals, and 0.3 blocks.

Furthermore, everyone in the Clippers has been relatively optimistic about the arrival of Westbrook. Paul George was asked about the addition to Westbrook, and he had this to say, “Extremely important. He fits what a leader is as a point guard. Constantly just keeping guys uplifted, just staying positive. You need guys like that, especially from the point guard position.” Ivica Zubac, who plays center for the Clippers, had this to stay, “I like it a lot. It’s way better than I thought it would be… He’s a great leader, also. He’s very vocal. Something we needed… He has a great attitude, he’s always smiling, always laughing, and being very positive. I’m super excited he’s here.”

An end note to Russell Westbrook

With the craziness that has occurred in the span of a couple of years for Russell Westbrook, many want to see him succeed, but others want to see him fail. We expected to see him as a Thunder forever, but business is business. Even with the many teams he has been on since leaving the Thunder, his name is always somewhere online for the good and the bad. Russell Westbrook is a tough player who will get the job done and wants to win. Hopefully, being added to the Clippers will give Westbrook a fresh start in L.A.

Frequently asked questions (FAQs)

When do new NBA jerseys come out?

If you’re wondering when to expect the latest NBA jerseys, the answer isn’t always straightforward. Generally, new jerseys are released ahead of the first game of the season in mid-October. However, some teams may release new jerseys throughout the season, like the City Edition strips that debuted in November 2022. Additionally, NBA All-Star jerseys are usually released around All-Star Weekend in February.

So, to stay on top of new releases, we recommend keeping an eye on your favorite team’s social media accounts and website for updates.

What size NBA jersey should you buy?

Choosing the right size for your jersey can be tricky, but it’s important to get it right. The first thing to consider is how you plan to wear your jersey. If you’re going to be playing basketball, you may want a tighter fit for better performance. If you’re wearing your jersey casually, a looser fit may be more comfortable.

In general, jerseys fit true to size, but if you’re unsure, you can use Nike’s size guide to compare your measurements. It’s also a good idea to try on a jersey in-store if you can, to make sure you get the perfect fit.

One thing to keep in mind is that jerseys can be longer than regular tees. If you prefer a shorter length, you may want to consider going a size smaller.

Russell Westbrook Gets Two Kings Fans Ejected: Watch

Russell Westbrook is currently on the Los Angeles Clippers. Following two awful seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers, Russ was able to escape. However, he opted to remain in the same building as he decided to go with the other team in Los Angeles. Although the Clippers have gotten off to a slow start with Russ on the team, they are starting to find their footing. Just a couple of nights ago, the team was able to defeat the Sacramento Kings, who are a team that has largely dominated the Clippers this season.

If you know anything about Russ, it is that he oftentimes gets abuse from the fans. Overall, he is someone who is easy to chirp. This is due to his statistical performance and his abundance of turnovers. That said when Russ feels as though fans are getting out of line, he immediately does something about it. Over the past few years, we have seen him get fans ejected. While playing the Kings a couple of nights ago, that is exactly what went down.

Russell Westbrook Voices Displeasure

In the Twitter video up above, courtesy of Clutch Points, you can Westbrook asking for the referee to come over. Subsequently, Russ points to the two fans and asks for them to be removed. All of the fans courtside are looking at the two Kings supporters, and there was this fanfare around them being booted from the game. Ultimately, Westbrook got his wish and he was able to move on swiftly. At this time, there is no account of what was said to Westbrook. However, one can imagine it had to be inappropriate if Russ felt it was necessary to say something about it.

Ever since the pandemic, the NBA has had some issues as it pertains to fan interactions. In today’s video age, the fans have gotten bolder than ever. Although, on the flip side of that, their behavior is being recorded. It is an interesting dynamic that the NBA is still actively trying to work through. Hopefully, for Russ and others throughout the league, the fans start to show a bit more respect, moving forward.

Ja Morant Dubbed “Ja Warrant” By NBA Twitter

Ja Morant is currently the biggest story in the NBA right now. Overall, this is not a good thing as his newsworthiness has nothing to do with his play on the court. Instead, Morant has been scrutinized for a bevy of headlines that put his judgment into question. Firstly, he was accused of threatening a teenager with a gun. Moreover, he was accused of threatening a mall security guard. The straw that broke the camel’s back, however, was Ja waving a gun around on Instagram Live.

Since that incident, the league has taken some serious action against Morant. He has subsequently been suspended indefinitely, and there is a real fear that he will miss the rest of the season. Moreover, if it was revealed that he brought a gun on the team plane or in the locker room, he may get the Gilbert Arenas treatment. Needless to say, this is a truly horrible look for both Morant and the Grizzlies.

Ja Morant In Trouble

As you can imagine, Twitter has been rushing to make jokes about the situation. Mostly, the internet has been coming up with nicknames for Morant. The first nickname to pop up was “Ja Wick” which is a play on the infamous John Wick character. However, there is another nickname that seems to be sticking out a lot more. In fact, this nickname has been trending on social media over the past day or so. The nickname in question is “Ja Warrant,” which, unfortunately, is a pretty clever rhyme.

In the tweets down below, you can see various fans and NBA Twitter users commenting on the “Ja Warrant” name. Others have been using it in jest, and in some cases, earnest. At the end of the day, this is some of the worst publicity one can get. Overall, it showcases a fall from grace for Morant. However, there is still time to fix his behavior and rehabilitate his image. Hopefully, the young man will take that process seriously.

Offset & Quavo Attend NBA Game Separately

Quavo and Offset both went to watch the Atlanta Hawks game against the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday (March 3), but sat separately. Of course, this reflects the two’s falling out, which affected the Migos since last year amid Quavo and Takeoff forming their own duo. Moreover, both went to the State Farm Arena in Atlanta and it looks like they sat courtside in different sections. Furthermore, the most recent chapter in Migos’ saga was Quavo’s track “Greatness,” in which he suggested the group would be no more.

Unfortunately, any issues within the group fell under the shadow of Takeoff’s tragic loss last November. In the months following his death, many close to the late rapper including his group co-members embroiled in back-and-forth fights surrounding his passing. For example, Offset got into a spat with J. Prince over loyalty, accusations of leaking information, and how they handled the loss. While the group’s conflicts defined the final stages of their career, it’s unfortunate that these wounds seem harder to heal than ever. In fact, some reports indicate that the two surviving members of the legendary rap crew confronted each other face-to-face about Takeoff’s absence.

Furthermore, the two got into an alleged brawl backstage at the Grammys after Quavo reportedly didn’t allow Offset to join him for his tribute to Takeoff. Moreover, the former performed his tribute track “Without You” during the “In Memoriam” segment. However, the latter denied such claims of a fight via Twitter, seemingly shutting down false reports. Still, alleged audio leaked of Cardi B, wife of Offset, trying to break the two apart during their reported spat.

Meanwhile, Offset’s probably busy handling backlash from McDonald’s franchises refusing to promote his Cardi B combo meal. Various locations said that there values do not align with those of the two artists, which in itself caught a lot of flack online. On the other hand, Quavo’s remained relatively quiet beyond the aforementioned track “Greatness” and his tributes to his fallen nephew. Hopefully the two can reconcile one day and keep honoring Takeoff together. With that in mind, stick around on HNHH for the latest news on Quavo and Offset.
