In the music industry today, BBLs are virtually as common as recording contracts. Most of our favourite rap divas have undergone plastic surgery procedures to physically enhance themselves, be it breast augmentations, butt injections, or tummy tucks. Of course, each individual is free to do what they want with their body, but dishonesty about what’s natural and what’s fake has left a bad taste in some fan’s mouths. Presently, BBLs are so popular that the internet seems to have a hard time discerning who’s gone under the knife, and who’s been in the gym. Genre-bending artist Monica is the latest to be flooded with accusations of getting her body done, which she openly addressed on social media.

As AllHipHop reports, “The Boy Is Mine” hitmaker graced the stage at Tycoon Music Festival in Atlanta last week (February 13). After her performance, social media sleuths shared videos online pointing to Monica’s curvaceous behind in her green, velvet costume. “If Monica got a BBL I don’t like it, [because] her a** sittin’ higher than Jesus,” one Twitter/X user wrote. “It’s giving d relly where the money reside booty.” When the 43-year-old got wind of the comments she had no problem addressing them during an Instagram Live session yesterday (February 19).

Monica Claims She’s Not Healthy Enough to Undergo Major Plastic Surgery

“Y’all got jokes,” she told viewers. “Let me tell you something. My health is far too bad to be playing like that. For me a BBL would mean bought by Linda,” Monica added, referencing her stylist’s ability to make her figure look effortlessly snatched. “Mama don’t play! I won’t even get lash extensions; I still wear strips I can rip off. I done kept it real with y’all so long y’all forgot.”

Before she was allowed to join Nicki Minaj on her upcoming tour, Monica candidly expressed online that she felt forgotten by the music industry. Not only does her long, black hair look incredible, but her toned body has followers talking in the comments too.

Ashanti’s Natural Body Impresses Nearly As Much As Her Vocals

Ashanti is a name we’ve been reporting on consistently throughout 2023. Unlike her contemporaries, she’s stayed almost entirely stayed out of drama. Instead, the performer has been pouring her energy into aging gracefully, travelling around the world, and rekindling her romance with Nelly. The pair first sparked a relationship decades ago and ultimately found their way back into each other’s lives after taking many years apart to grow and mature as individuals. In the summer, the “Hot In Herre” hitmaker confirmed that he and Ashanti were both surprised to get back together. Still, the near-constant smiles on their faces tell us they couldn’t be happier to be reunited.

Since reconnecting, we’ve seen Nelly and his other half grace the stage together on several occasions. Earlier this week, however, Ashanti was giving a live performance of her own when someone backstage captured a video of her bodacious behind. Also unlike many of her contemporaries, the New York native seems to have stayed true to her natural figure over the years, rather than relying on BBLs or tummy tucks to keep her snatched.

Baby Tate’s Natural Bikini Body Takes Over Iceland On Her 27th Birthday: Photos

Baby Tate is having an undoubtedly huge weekend. Not only did the southern starlet team up with Saweetie for their “Hey, Mickey!” music video, but she’s also celebrating her 27th birthday. Rather than revel in the usual wild girl’s trip to Las Vegas or the tropics that other celebrities do, Tate is spending her big day in Reykjavîk, Iceland, where the cool temperatures didn’t stop her from putting her natural body on display in a tiny bikini.

“I’m only 27 and I’m only getting better,” Tate wrote in the caption of her commemorative photo dump on Saturday (May 13). If the line sounds familiar, it’s because she’s cleverly quoting Drake’s 2015 hit, “0 to 100 / The Catch Up,” along with her thirst traps. In the first of three images, we see the multihyphenate posing in a pair of thigh-high, grey fuzzy boots, also keeping her upper half warm with a fur of the same material thrown over her shoulder. Ever the fashionista, Tate added a large hat to the look, along with a Vivienne Westwood necklace.

While many other rap divas have been candid about their own plastic surgery journeys, the Atlanta-born artist has been equally as forthcoming about embracing her natural body. In the second snapshot, Tate looks back at the camera while proudly showing off her behind – dimples, back rolls, and all. Her confidence continues to shine bright in the last snapshot, which sees the birthday girl showing off her personality with a silly pose.

While vocalists obviously rise to fame thanks to their musical talent, it’s usually things like thirst traps that help keep their name in the public eye between new releases. The latest singer to catch the internet’s attention with her bikini body is Ari Lennox. She didn’t hesitate to flaunt her figure for followers on hair wash day earlier this week.

On Thursday (February 2), the “Waste My Time” songstress shared a series of videos on her Story that find her standing in the shower. Her toned figure looks incredibly in shape underneath what appears to be a Dior bikini.

“Wash day,” she wrote in the caption,” showing off her natural hair in one clip before soaking it with water in another. Fans are obviously glad to have a sneak peek into Lennox’s day-to-day life. However, what’s really got their attention is her not-so-subtle thirst trap.

@2cool2bl0g reposted one of the videos on their own page, giving users a chance to leave comments. “I love how authentic and beautiful she is,” one person wrote. Another joked, “Let me get ready to get on this treadmill.”

Unfortunately, some of the responses also saw hateful messages being spread around – specifically about Lennox’s natural figure. “I found her more attractive thicker I won’t lie,” someone said. “Still beautiful though.”

In response to the trash talk, one person ranted, “The immaturity in these comments. What’s not good for you, someone else would wife UP in a second and worship the ground she walks on. She’s dope and beautiful.”

The thirst traps on her Instagram Story certainly got fans talking. Still, they don’t hold a candle to the power her voice has been putting out on her age/sex/location tour. Fans are undeniably supportive and showing up for Lennox, but late last year, she made it known that this trip around the nation to perform will be her last.
