Cardi B’s Nail Tech Suffers $100K Damage In Shop Fire

Recently, it was reported that nail artist Jenny Bui lost her NYC shop after a fire tragically destroyed the property. Sadly, Bui had just recently moved all of her items from her previous shop to that location, and was planning on hosting a grand opening soon. Bui, who’s known to do Cardi B’s nails, says that the news was devastating.

She says that upon hearing the horrific news, she felt as though she was “about to pass out.” Luckily, neighbors were close by to offer her support and a few words of encouragement. “They said, ‘it’s okay, Jenny. We’re all going to help you,’” she revealed. Bui shared that since she had just recently moved the shop, she had not yet transferred her insurance to the new location. Bui also says the fire caused around $100K in damage.

Jenny Bui Speaks On Her Nail Shop Burning Down

Now, Bui has now been met with an outpouring of support from fans on social media. Many are even calling for her celebrity client Cardi to help her get back on her feet. It’s uncertain whether or not the “Bongos” performer will address the situation, but clearly she’s loyal to the nail artist. Back in July, she responded to some claims a different nail tech made about her, saying they were false.

The nail tech said that she had turned down an opportunity to do Cardi’s nails in favor of keeping her appointments with existing clients. “YALL HAVE TO UNDERSTAND, MY clients deserve to be serviced,” she wrote. “I’ve canceled before for a celebrity and regret it because i lost those clients.” Cardi responded simply, writing, “GIRL WHO ARE YOU ?” Hopefully, Bui’s shop will be back up and running sometime soon. Jack Harlow Performed His Not-So-Kid-Friendly Hits And Got Slimed At Nickelodeon’s Kid’s Choice Awards

Jack Harlow is slowly but surely emerging as one of the big new stars in hip-hop for 2022. Strategic moves like collaborating with Lil Nas X on the No. 1 hit “Industry Baby” and his latest viral single, “First Class,” which samples Fergie’s classic “G.L.A.M.O.R.O.U.S.” have him well on his way to superstardom. With his sophomore album slated to drop in just a few short weeksr oh and the “Nail Tech” in the meantime, Harlow is gaining the kind of momentum that every artist wants to have before an album release.

And tonight, he doubled down on that movement with an appearance at one of the hottest stages — Nickelodeon’s Kid’s Choice Awards. Now, before you want to knock the KCAs, keep in mind, most of the stars we know and love today did their time on the KCA circuit! Kids grow up to be cultural harbingers in just a few short years, so winning them over young can be a key factor for artists like Harlow who are still emerging.

Still, since most of Jack’s recent material is, ahem, fairly explicit, people had thoughts about him performing a medley of his very adult singles for an audience of children. As if that wasn’t enough, Harlow also had the infamous Nickelodeon slime dropped on him, which elicited even more reactions on Twitter. Needless to say, no matter what he does, he gets talked about. Check out a clip of his performance along with some commentary below.

Jack Harlow’s New Album Is Dropping In May And ‘Nail Tech’ Is His ‘Least Favorite Song’ On It

Of all the surprise superstars and breakout artists to emerge during the COVID-19 pandemic, perhaps the most unexpected was Jack Harlow. The Kentucky-raised rapper had some buzz before landing his No. 2 single “What’s Poppin” in 2020, but the outsized reaction to that track had many assuming he would just be another hip-hop one-hit-wonder — an expectation that he shattered with his debut album, That’s What They All Say, in 2021. Now, hordes of newly converted fans can’t help wondering when his follow-up is coming, especially after the release of his Drake-esque new single “Nail Tech.”

Harlow answers that question in a new profile in Rolling Stone, revealing that “Nail Tech” isn’t just the beginning but it’s also “probably my least favorite song on the album.” Intriguingly, it appears that Jack revealed the album’s title on Instagram months ago, although no one could have known that at the time. It’s called Come Home The Kids Miss You and it’s projected for a May 6 release date. He says that he prefers his more heartfelt, introspective tracks like “Rendezvous,” promising more on the album.

“My new s*t is much more serious,” he says. “Right now, my message is letting muh’f*ckers know I love hip-hop, and I’m one of the best in my generation. You can’t do that with nonchalant, like, ‘Eeey, I got the bitches,’ in clever ways over and over again. I got to dig deeper this time.”

Jack Harlow Keeps It Classy And Flashy On The Exuberant ‘Nail Tech’

While 2020 turned out to be much different than many of us expected, for some like Jack Harlow, they saw their dreams come true over the course of that year. The Louisville native saw his career rise to new heights thanks to his breakout single “What’s Poppin” which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. Later that year, Harlow released his official debut album That’s What They All Say which delivered 15 tracks and contributions from Adam Levine, Big Sean, Lil Baby, Bryson Tiller, EST Gee, and more. After spending 2021 enjoying his newfound success, Harlow seems set on starting the latest chapter in his career.

Harlow returns with “Nail Tech,” his first single of 2022. The track is a classy and flashy effort that finds the rapper bragging about all things in his life. He flaunts the trust he has with his nail tech, his wealth, the woman he finds himself with, the talent in his hometown, and much more. The track’s accompanying video also features an appearance from Yung Miami. It comes after he released a promotional video for the track that captured him in the middle of a meeting with a therapist as he admits to his struggle to select a new single for his next album. Well, at long last, it’s here and it features a verse from Yung Miami.

The song arrives after Jack Harlow concluded his Crème De La Crème California Tour which saw him perform in multiple cities in the Golden State.
