French Montana And EST Gee Move Fearlessly Through City Streets In Their Video For ‘Keep It Real’

It took French Montana all of seven months to give the world a brand new project. That was the case with Montega, his fifth album which doubled as a joint project with producer Harry Fraud. Montega arrived with 14 songs and guest appearances from Babyface Ray, Benny the Butcher, Chinx, EST Gee, Fleurie, Jadakiss, Quavo, and Rick Ross. In French’s continued effort to promote his latest body of work, he returns with a visual for “Keep It Real” alongside EST Gee.

French and EST find themselves in city streets in their video for “Keep It Real.” Dark and bright skies sit behind the two rappers as they stand proudly with their crew on street corners and on top of buildings all in a successful attempt to show off their fearless demeanor.

The new video for “Keep It Real” joins others that French has released for songs from Montega. They include “Blue Chills,” “Bricks & Bags,” and “Rushmore Pack.” Recently, French Montana collaborated with DreamDoll for her “Ice Cream Dream” collaboration while also having a hand in Drake winning and losing over $25 million through a game of roulette that they played together.

French Montana Raps All Over New York City In His New ‘Blue Chills’ Video

Ahead of his upcoming album Montega, produced by Harry Fraud, French Montana has dropped a new video for “Blue Chills.” In the video, Montana is seen in various parts of New York City, including rapping from a rooftop and grabbing bites at a bodega.

Lyrically, the song features Montana addressing his haters and critics, some of which seem to come from within his own circle.

“The grеatest threat is always from the inside / Yessir, they put staples in my head, b*tch, they been tried / Killers wanna bag me or come see me in that dayroom / Shorty wanna rag me and throw me up on Shade Room,” he raps over the Fraud-produced track.

Fraud has worked with Montana on various projects since his mixtape days in the late aughts and early 2010s. In a recent interview with Connected With Wayno, Montana recalled his mixtape days pleasantly, however, he says the songs fans prefer aren’t what he considers his best work.

“Some people, when I dimmed it down, I sold more records,” he said, “and I’m competing in a numbers game. If I could put up numbers, why wouldn’t I put numbers, and I can still do the rap.”

French Montana Is Making Steady Moves On The Slick ‘Drive By’ With Babyface Ray

It was just six months ago that French Montana released his fourth album They Got Amnesia. The project was the rapper’s first full project since 2019’s Montana and it delivered 21 tracks and features from Rick Ross, Kodak Black, Pop Smoke, Lil Durk, Doja Cat, Saweetie, Fivio Foreign, Ty Dolla Sign, Moneybagg Yo, and many more. While some might have thought that it would be a little while until French released a new project, that won’t be the case as he announced his upcoming Montega album produced by Harry Fraud. Ahead of the project’s arrival, French steps forth with its latest single.

French arrives with the Harry Fraud-produced “Drive By” alongside Detroit rapper Babyface Ray as the first offering from Montega. The record is a hard-hitting release that’s elevated thanks to Harry’s crisp production, French’s steady but determined flow, and Babyface’s laid-back flexing. The new track follows “Alcatraz,” a record French used to address the “curse from the Kardashians.”

The new track arrives shortly after French seemingly concluded the promotional run behind his fourth album They Got Amnesia. Through it, he released videos for “Mopstick” with Kodak, “Push Start” with 42 Dugg and Coi Leray, “How You King?,” “Handstand” with Doja and Saweetie, “Bag Season” with Lil Tjay, “Panicking” with Fivio, “Business,” and “FWMGAB (Remix)” with Moneybagg Yo.

As for French’s Montega project, that’s set to arrive later this month on June 24.

French Montana Announces His New Album ‘Montega’ Produced By Harry Fraud

French Montana, who recently released the single “Alcatraz,” has just officially announced his sixth studio album, Montega, which is duef in just a couple of weeks on Coke Boys Records. It’s produced by the popular rapper and his collaborator Harry Fraud.

Montega will follow his last album They Got Amnesia, a success with a deluge of features, including “Mopstick” with Kodak Black, “Handstand” with Doja Cat and Saweetie, “Panicking” with Fivio — the list goes on, featuring Rick Ross, John Legend, Pop Smoke, Drake, and more. That album came out in November last year, which shows that his grind never stops.

Around that time, Montana also made a claim that his line of work is even more difficult than others. “You’re better off making it in the NBA than Hip Hop,” he said during an appearance on Hot 97’s Ebro In The Morning. “NBA, they got like what, 28 teams … 15 players on every team? And that’s in the hundreds. You talk about Hip Hop, you can’t even name 10 people that’s hot every couple months. The odds … anybody can do it if it was easy.” He added, “So you talkin’ about trying to make it? Your hustle gotta be relentless. Can’t take no for an answer, you gotta be up when everybody sleep.”
