Ace Hood Begs The Question On His New Album: Will It “Build Or Destroy You?”

One of the most prolific names from the 2010s decade, Ace Hood, is back with another new album. This one possesses 11 tracks and was released yesterday (October 27). It is sort of a follow-up to his 2022 record, M.I.N.D., or Memories Inside Never Die. The rollout for this LP actually began all the way back in 2022. In fact, it was June 17 that we would get the first sampling of B.O.D.Y. “Energy” is the name of the cut and it is the second one on the tape.

Like the previous title, this new one also has a meaning to it. The four letters spell out, Build Or Destroy You. Not too much information is out on it as of now. Even Ace Hood himself did not announce that it was out on his Instagram. However, he did announce it would be coming out on all DSPs three days ago.

Odd Future seems to be on the cusp of making a full return sometime in the near future We got a hint at what they are going to sound like with their very interesting but also confusing single, “NEW FUTURE ERA.” It is on YouTube and the track only lasts around 50 seconds. Needless to say, though we are not sure exactly what direction they are going in. However, we do know where Domo Genesis is right now.

Shordie Shordie And Murda Beatz Deliver Their Second Installment In The “Memory Lane” Series

Baltimore rapper Shordie Shordie and Canadian producer Murda Beatz are a duo you might not expect. However, they are very familiar with one another. In fact, they have a collaboration album together, Memory Lane. Released back in 2021, it boasted a tight 12-song tracklist. Only one Trippie Redd feature broke up the 11 other cuts with just the rapper and producer duo.

This time around, there is a little more to offer overall. Memory Lane 2 contains more rapping from the Baltimore artist production from Murda with three more offerings. Additionally, there are more guest appearances to boot. You will hear Baby B on “First Kiss,” and “BlakelANA on “WYO.” However, that is not all. Mozzy is on “Enjoy the Ride” as well.

Mariah The Scientist Brings On Young Thug, 21 Savage And More For “To Be Eaten Alive”

Atlanta, Georgia singer and songwriter, Mariah the Scientist is in a relationship with Young Thug. However, R&B fans know there is more than just that to her. She is an extremely talented and gifted voice in the space. She is proving that once again on her third project, To Be Eaten Alive. Believe it or not, the rollout for this project began almost a year ago to the day. The first single “Bout Mine,” perfectly showcases the artist’s range.

Then, just a couple of days prior, she put out one more song, “Different Pages.” This year-long wait brings us to a 10-song effort at just under 28 minutes.

Money Man Is Back With A New Project “Croptober”

Money Man, a name that not only resonates with the music charts but also echoes with financial wisdom, is back with more music. After just releasing Catch Me If You Can last month, he’s keeping his audience on his toes with a brand new project, CROPTOBER. The artist, known for delivering both lyrical hits and invaluable financial insights, is on a meteoric rise that showcases not only his musical consistency but also his entrepreneurial acumen. In an industry where success often hinges on more than just talent, Money Man has proven himself as a powerhouse by earning a certified Gold plaque for his chart-topping tracks, including “LLC” featuring Moneybagg Yo and “24” featuring Lil Baby. But what truly distinguishes Money Man from his peers is his commitment to financial literacy, seamlessly blending it with his music to educate and inspire his audience.

Now, with the release of CROPTOBER, Money Man aims to provide listeners with a new harvest of musical vibes. With a whopping 18 tracks and hardly any features, Money Man gets to the point on the project. There’s something on here for everyone. The album’s title itself is buried with significance, as Money Man explained during an interview with HNHH: “For October is when you know when wheat is plentiful everywhere. So you got like an overflow of wheat. So it’s Crop-tober, this harvest season, you know. It’s everywhere, and prices are cheap. So it’s everywhere. There’s music everywhere, too.”

Stream “CROPTOBER”

In terms of the musical vibes of the project, Money Man describes it as “vibe music.” He highlights that while he has dropped different types of tapes in the past, like Catch Me If You Can, which catered to the swipers and white-collar crowd, CROPTOBER is intended for the streets and the trappers. However, it’s not just about beats and rhythms; Money Man always conveys a message through his music. He emphasizes that he aims to motivate people to become better, making it clear that everything is not solely about money, but money does make life more comfortable. Thus, the underlying theme of CROPTOBER is the pursuit of success and personal growth, a message that resonates deeply with Money Man’s own journey to financial and artistic independence.

In a world where music and money often intersect, Money Man effortlessly bridges the gap between them, serving up both street anthems and financial wisdom in equal measure. CROPTOBER is not just an album but a testament to his commitment to both his craft and his message: the path to success, financially and artistically, lies within the reach of those who are willing to seize it. Brent Faiyaz Returns With New Album “Larger Than Life”

In the ever-shifting landscape of the music game, where the boundaries of creativity are constantly pushed, Brent Faiyaz emerges as the undeniable icon that today’s generation craves. He returns today with a brand new project called Larger Than Life, and it definitely comes highly anticipated. In fact, his last full project was 2022’s Wasteland, which was a musical masterpiece. The album is definitely still in rotation for many R&B fans, and has 19 tracks of pure vibes. With standouts from the previous project such as “Jackie Brown” and “All Mine” and “Wasting Time,” Brent created classics that can easily be rotated into any playlist. Wasteland debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. He left the people with something to digest before coming back with a brand new project Larger Than Life.

After surprise announcing the news of a new album today in a short and simple IG message, “14 songs. Midnight,” audiences couldn’t wait to get their hands on some new Brent Faiyaz music. The caption was accompanied by a brief Instagram video lasting just one minute. The video captures a scene that’s got the streets buzzing. The footage showcases a young kid stationed outside a local corner store, selling CD mixtapes from a box. As people pass by, he calls the mixtape the hottest thing in town. Enter Brent Faiyaz, who rolls up in a sleek black truck, engaging the kid in conversation. “What it look like?” he inquires. With a grin, the kid replies, “It’s moving.” Faiyaz’s response? A piece of advice: “Up the price.”

The project spans 14 tracks long, and features two previously released singles “WY@” and “Moment Of Your Life” with Coco Jones. Additionally, the project has been released in partnership with ISO Supremacy, which stands for In Search of Supremacy. Faiyaz is the CEO of the creative agency and earlier this year, formed a partnership with UnitedMasters.

Overall, the album is a vibe and serves as the perfect late-night escape soundtrack. It’s nostalgic and has all the ingredients for success. The project features Faiyaz’s signature blend of raw lyricism and smooth melodies. He dives into themes of love and complicated romance. This was also seen with the singles “Moment Of Your Life,” and “WY@” which showcases how he battles with his emotions. He’s dropping gems like, “Even I know you ain’t no good for me, but you feel so good to me. Every time I come back, I try to leave. So how you end up back with me?” Faiyaz is clearly diving deep into his R&B bag this time around. This, ladies and gents, is Brent Faiyaz, the artist whose journey is, without a doubt, larger than life. Let us know your thoughts on the new music!

JPEGMAFIA Re-Releases “The Ghost Pop Tape” Album In Original & Remastered Glory

JPEGMAFIA is one of the most creative, self-driven, skillful, and groundbreaking rappers, producers, performers, and sonic wizards in music today. While many readers may have first heard of him through his 2023 Danny Brown collab album, SCARING THE H*ES, he’s been releasing fantastic music for over a decade. Before we knew him as Peggy, he was Devon Hendryx, and around 2012 while he was living in Japan, he was in a dark headspace. Out of that struggle, but also incredible spirit and talent, he released The Ghost Pop Tape in 2013, which went unnoticed at the time of its release. Ten years later, though, it’s a fan-favorite amongst the Baltimore artist’s listener base, and he just re-released the project in its original form and remastered it almost entirely to celebrate its place in his catalog.

Moreover, JPEGMAFIA made it clear via social media that this is not meant to be taken as a new project or simple anniversary reissue to get cash, but as a treat to the fans who hold this among other LPs like… well, LP!. As such, this is the perfect chance for you to dive in if you haven’t already. Furthermore, it’s another wildly different example of his unique production approach that is lo-fi but nonetheless enveloping, atmospheric, and moodier than his more recent output. This takes more inspiration from R&B and vaporwave-style sounds and shows that the 34-year-old is just as good at subtlety as he is at larger-than-life bombast. Above all, only he could make The Ghost Pop Tape, and that idiosyncrasy is a rare feat in hip-hop these days.

Valee And MVW Are Seeking “VALEEDATION” On Their New Collab Tape

Chicago, Illinois rapper Valee is bringing the goods once again in just a short period of time. We say that because it was just several months ago that we heard a full-length project from him. In fact, it was back in late July that we got Valee’s last record, Virtuoso. That was a dual effort from him and legendary producer, Harry Fraud. It got mixed reviews from our writers at HNHH because of the inconsistencies from Valee.

This time, he brings on another talent in MVW to handle a great deal of the production. We started to get some rollout for this tape back at the very end of March with the lead single “Yo Yo.” That featured another up-and-coming artist, Tony Shhnow. Fast forward a few months and in that span, we would get four more samples from it.
