Mase Obliterates Larsa Pippen For Seemingly Playing The Victim Amid Marcus Jordan Breakup

Mase and Cam’ron have done an absolutely incredible job with their show It Is What It Is. Overall, this is a show that not a lot of people saw coming. After all, the two MCs had a falling out years ago and there was this sense that they would never reconcile. However, they are officially friends again and fans love to see it. The two have great chemistry on this sports show, and it is a much finer watch than something like Undisputed or even First Take. The two put on an amazing show and the fans continue to tune in.

Recently, the pair got to speak out about the recent breakup between Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan. Pippen made the breakup pretty apparent on social media as she had an interesting post on her story. When this post was read on the air, Mase immediately took exception to it and had some pretty hard words for the former wife of Scottie Pippen. Essentially, he claimed she was playing the victim, which is wild considering who her ex-husband is and who Marcus Jordan is.

Subsequently, Mase says she he thinks that Jordan was ultimately taken advantage of. Cam’ron echoed this point noting that she allegedly preys on younger men. She has had some younger boyfriends in the past, and Cam is warning young men to not get suckered in. Needless to say, they are using some pretty strong language here, and they want to make sure that men are getting the point loud and clear. Pippen has taken some hits on the show in the past, but has never replied. Only time will tell if she changes her mind with this latest set of criticism.

Nevertheless, the publication allegedly spoke to a source close to the two, who was able to confirm that they did, in fact, go their separate ways. Of course, this is notable because they were a pretty controversial pair in the worlds of NBA, basketball, and pop culture. One is Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife, and the other is Michael Jordan’s son, and you can imagine how this was a gold mine for the headlines.

However, before they unfollowed each other on social media, it seemed like things were going in a steady but surely committed direction. In fact, Larsa Pippen revealed in January of this year, just a month before these rumors went wild, that she froze some of her eggs in the event that she and Marcus Jordan would have kids. Larsa Pippen Freezing Eggs For Future Plans With Marcus Jordan

Larsa Pippen has revealed that she has frozen a batch of her eggs in case she and Marcus Jordan decide to have children. “I’m really happy with my four kids, but I feel like it wouldn’t be fair for me to not give Marcus that opportunity if we wanted to have kids [together]. So, I do have a little insurance policy in a freezer in L.A. just in case,” Pippen told Us Weekly.

Furthermore, Pippen revealed that Jordan has a great relationship with her four children. Jordan is 16 years Pippen’s junior. He is closer in age to her eldest child, Scottie Jr, than he is to her. “I feel like he’s actually closer to my boys than he is with Sophia. They just have so much in common with basketball and just helping guide them and when it comes down to [being] sneakerheads. And my kids love asking him for advice on shoes and clothes and all that good stuff,” Pippen added.

However, it’s not all been positive for the couple. Back in November 2023, Pippen and Jordan have described their interview with Meadowlark Media’s Pablo Torre as a “hit piece”. “They talked a lot of sh-t. I wasn’t too familiar with the format of his show. Maybe that’s on us not doing our research or whatever, but I feel like the first half segment of the show was talking crazy,” Jordan said. The son of Michael Jordan was referring to the first 30 minutes of the show, in which Torre, his producer, and fellow Meadowlark contributor Charlotte Wilder discussed the couple’s “soap opera romance”.

Pippen and Jordan continued to paint themselves as the victims, referring to the interview as a “hit piece” before taking personal shots at Torre. “You know what the problem is. I think we’re too nice to people, because we really don’t talk about people and I feel like we really do come from a place that we just want to be together. But at the same time, I feel like, why are all these people hating on us? Because they’re miserable. That has to be what it is,” Pippen declared.

The 49-year-old posed for photos making sure that her left hand was in full view, flexing a diamond-covered ring on her engagement finger. She complemented the shimmering jewelry with a similarly eye-catching black jumpsuit, which she paired with a simple blazer.

Pippen first highlighted the ring in photos earlier in the week at a DIRECTV event at Kathy’s in Los Angeles. While the ring seemingly suggests that the controversial pair are engaged, they clarified that they’re not in an interview with PEOPLE. They are, however, looking forward to when that moment finally arrives. When asked about his future proposal, Jordan claimed that it’s already “in the works.”

However, Pablo Torre is far from the only person that the couple is currently feuding with. According to TMZ, Pippen confronted her Real Housewives co-star Julia Lemigova at BravoCon as she believed that Lemigova was “trying to seduce” Jordan. This came after Lemigova reportedly asked Jordan to take some photos of her to put on social media, which he happily did for her.

Elsewhere, although still at BravoCon, Pippen also addressed comments that Cardi B had made about her sex life. “I don’t know how can someone else comment on how many times I have sex, you guys? She wasn’t in bed with us, so I don’t know. I kind of feel like that was comical,” Pippen said of Cardi’s comments. Despite this, it appears that Pippen and Jordan aren’t leaving the spotlight anytime soon.

Now, there is a beef between the two, and it seems far from resolved.

Marcus Jordan Settles With American Express After Racking Up $157K In Debt

Marcus Jordan has been in the spotlight quite a bit as of late. Overall, this is all thanks to his relationship with Larsa Pippen. There is a lot of drama at play here thanks to who Pippen is. Of course, she is the ex-wife of Scottie Pippen. Pippen played for the Chicago Bulls with Michael Jordan, who is Marcus’ father. Furthermore, there is a 17-year age gap between Jordan and Pippen which creates even more uncomfortability. Regardless, their relationship seems to be doing just fine.

On top of this relationship, it appears as though Jordan has been dealing with a financial issue behind the scenes. This issue involves American Express and a hefty amount of credit card debt. According to Radar Online, Jordan owed a whopping $157K. As the story goes, Jordan got a Platinum Card back in 2016 for his sneaker store, Trophy Room. While he did pay off the card to start, there came a point where he just stopped making payments which subsequently led to the large debt.

As a result of the debt, American Express decided to launch a lawsuit against Jordan. However, it seems like things have gone Marcus’ way. Radar Online reports that both sides have settled the debt. Moving forward, Jordan will have to make $10K payments until the debt is wiped out entirely. That means he will need to make about 16 payments in order for his debt to be taken out. It is a hard situation, albeit one that could certainly have been avoided.
