Luka Doncic Drops Historic 60-21-10 Triple-Double in Win Over Knicks

Luka Doncic is HIM. The Dallas Mavericks superstar achieved a triple-double that no one in league history has ever achieved. He scored 60 points, 21 rebounds, and 10 assists in an insane comeback victory over the New York Knicks.

Doncic’s performance came with an intentionally missed free throw, which he rebounded and put back in to take the game to OT, which he thought was the game-winner. “Then I see it’s tied. I was like, ‘Oof.’ I didn’t know what to do,” Doncic said to ESPN.

The performance topped Dirk Nowitzki’s franchise scoring record while setting a new career high for Doncic in rebounds.

Doncic shot 21 of 31 from the field and 16 of 22 from the foul line. He scored 38 points after halftime to help the Mavericks overcome a 12-point hole.

Luka Doncic and Dallas Mavericks Blast Top Ranked Suns to Advance To Western Conference Finals

Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks demolished and embarrassed the Phoenix Suns in game 7 to advance to the Western Conference Finals.

The top-seeded Suns had the best regular-season record and were early favorites for the 2022 NBA championship. Unfortunately, they didn’t look that dominant during game 7.

Doncic led all scorers with 33 points to go with 11 rebounds and eight assists. Reggie Bullock and Jalen Brunson helped the Mavs cause, combining for 37 points.

The Suns, who were coming off a 30-point victory in Game 5, struggled again on the road. Chris Paul had only 13 points on seven field-goal attempts. Devin Booker scored 19 but missed all four of his 3-pointers.

Doncic and the Mavericks will now turn their attention to the Golden State Warriors, looking to return to the NBA Finals for the first time in two seasons. The Mavericks could provide a matchup nightmare for the Warriors as Doncic will give the Dubs all kinds of problems.

Lil Wayne’s ‘Luka A Ho’ Tweet Got Dunked On Repeatedly As Doncic Buried The Suns In Game 7 With Him Courtside

The Dallas Mavericks thought it would be fun to kick the hell out of the Phoenix Suns on Sunday night during Game 7 of their Western Conference Semifinal series. Dallas walked into Phoenix and put on a crazy shooting display, while the Suns’ offense could not get off the ground, as evidenced by their 27 first half points.

A number of famous folks in attendance, including Lil Wayne, who joined the Suns last postseason as they celebrated making the NBA Finals. Weezy has had a close eye on this series, as evidenced by this tweet he sent during Game 5.

Well, as it turns out, saying that about a dude a few days before he comes out and plays a role in launching the opposing team into orbit doesn’t work out great when you’re famous. Because during Game 7, people on the internet decided to quote tweet this ruthlessly and dunk on Wayne with such ease that you’d think he, too, was playing defense for the Phoenix Suns on Sunday.

It is not clear whether or not Doncic has seen this tweet, but given how well he played during Game 7, I don’t think anyone would be surprised if we learned that he was a little mad that Lil Wayne called him out.
