Detroit Lions Fan Eminem Has An Urgent Message For LA Rams’ Matthew Stafford Ahead Of Wild Card Round

Eminem isn’t afraid to hit folks with a cease and desist letter to protect his intellectual property. Sadly for him, legally, there’s nothing he can do to tip the scales in favor of the Detroit Lions. As a native of the Motor City, Eminem is putting all his faith into his beloved team to bring the Vince Lombardi Trophy home.

On January 14, ahead of the Rams and Lions showdown for the NFL’s wild card round, the notorious introvert decided to step into the social media waters to share an urgent message aimed at the Los Angeles Rams quarterback, Matthew Stafford. “Stafford, what’d I say,” he said in the video clip. “You owe me this favor, bro. I was there for you when you won it. I was there for you. I was right there. I rapped for you, Stafford. Bro, I rapped for you!”

With Stafford being a former Lions player, Eminem seems to hope the video would pull at his heartstrings. Ultimately, wishing Stafford would go easy on the franchise during the January 14 game. Typically, the team and Super Bowl hopefuls are words you’d use in the same sentence. However, after the team managed to win its first division in 30 years, Lions fans like Eminem are praying for a miracle.

The Detroit Lions and Los Angeles Rams game is set to begin at 8:15 pm Eastern. Find more information here.

Sean McVay Update On Injured Matthew Stafford

The Los Angeles Rams were a different team without Matthew Stafford last season. The Rams suffered from a serious Super Bowl hangover last season. As Stafford was sidelined for most of the year. The Rams missed out on the NFL Playoffs. However, the 2022 regular season is a thing of the past. Rams head coach Sean McVay is ready to move on to this coming season. Having his quarterback healthy would help with the pressure on McVay. Will Stafford be ready to start the season?

According to McVay, Stafford has no limitations physically heading into this off-season. The news is huge for the Rams. Indeed the Rams traded a lot to go all in on the 2022 Super Bowl. As a result, the Rams won the Super Bowl and cashed in on their big season. However, since that Super Bowl victory, the sky has been falling for the franchise. Including a disaster of a Super Bowl parade. Not only have they had to deal with Stafford’s injuries. But the team has seen big-time player’s like Jalen Ramsey leave Los Angeles.

Matthew Stafford Is Key To Rams Success

Many around the league were happy to see Stafford find quick success with the Rams. The former number-one overall pick spent over a decade with the Detroit Lions. A decade with Detroit is enough to double the physical age of any player. The two greatest players in Lions history retired due to health issues. That being Barry Sanders and Calvin Johnson. However, following his exit from Detroit, Matthew Stafford has yet to be healthy in his first two years with the Rams.

Stafford is known as one of the toughest players in the league. Needless to say, last season’s setback won’t affect the Rams quarterback you see on the field this season. The Rams are looking for a quick turnaround with the roster they have. The Rams are the home of the best defensive player in the league, Aaron Donald. Certainly, having both a healthy Stafford and Donald will give them a chance to make an immediate impact in 2023. For the latest NFL news, stay right here at HNHH.

Aaron Donald Appears To Tease Retirement On Twitter

NFL star Aaron Donald sent Los Angeles Rams fans into a frenzy on Sunday by seemingly teasing his retirement on Twitter. The 31-year-old changed the bio on his page to “former NFL D Lineman for the Rams.”

After followers began taking note of the change, Donald reverted his bio back to what it was previously. He dropped the “former.”

Donald’s wife, Erica, responded to the rumors, telling fans to “chillax” with a gif from The Office.

Donald hasn’t been shy about considering retirement in recent years. After the Los Angeles Rams won the Super Bowl in 2022, the three-time Defensive Player of the Year admitted he might be done.

“I’ll be fine regardless, but me talking about retirement, that was happening way before we won a Super Bowl. I’ve been saying that since I got into the league I was going to play eight years and be done,” Donald explained. “That’s just what I’ve been saying. … If I was to play, it’s just to win another Super Bowl, but at the end of the day, it’s still a business and it got to make sense to me and my family.”

Retirement for Donald would come after one of the Rams’ most disappointing seasons in years. The reigning Super Bowl champion team won just five games while several of their top players suffered injuries. Additionally, they gave up their first round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Sean McVay Reveals His Coaching Future

Sean McVay is easily one of the best coaches in the NFL. He became a head coach at a pretty young age, and he immediately made an impact with the Rams. In fact, within just a few years, he had the team in the Super Bowl. However, they ultimately closed to the Tom Brady Patriots in a stinker of a game.

Subsequently, McVay went back to work and won the Super Bowl with the Rams last season. Unfortunately, the team has been horrible this past year and has missed the playoffs. Amidst all of this, McVay has been teasing a retirement from coaching in the NFL.

Sean McVay Finally Decides

These past few weeks have led to a whole bunch of speculation about McVay. Some believe he is on his way out, while others believe he will be back. Overall, there have been some polarizing opinions about this saga, especially since McVay signed an extension.

Well, today, McVay finally clued people into what he plans on doing. According to the Rams social media account, McVay has decided to remain with the team next season. This is obviously great news, especially since many players will be coming back healthy next year.

Unfortunately for McVay and the Rams, the league has started to catch up to them. There are some amazing teams in the NFC right now, and their path will become exponentially harder next season. However, McVay is seen as a coaching genius, and we’re sure he will figure things out.

Let us know what you think of McVay’s decision, in the comments section down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the sports world.

Baker Mayfield Stuns NFL Fans With Last-Minute Drive

Baker Mayfield continues to be one of the weirdest quarterbacks in the entire NFL. Some days, he looks like he could be a future MVP candidate. However, most weekends, he looks pedestrian. It is a weird mix that has ultimately led Mayfield to the Los Angeles Rams.

Last night, Mayfield got to play his very first game with the team. It was a game that was going to be difficult for Baker as he only had two days to learn the offense. Although this was a challenge, Mayfield shocked the world with a last-minute touchdown drive to knock off the Las Vegas Raiders.

Baker Mayfield Does The Impossible

Yup, that’s correct, your eyes are not deceiving you. Mayfield drove the Ball 98 yards in just eight plays to win the game. Subsequently, all sorts of praise made its way to social media. People could not believe Baker’s heroics, and it made for a special evening in Ram-land.

Consequently, there were plenty of fans out there who were ready to dish out their hot takes. After all, Mayfield is a very polarizing figure, and very few people expected him to have success with the Rams, let alone after two days with the team. There is no telling if he will keep up this success, however, Rams fans are just happy to get a win.

Earlier this week, Mayfield had been released by the Carolina Panthers. He never really settled into his role with the team, and the team ultimately decided to take action. Furthermore, there was this narrative around Mayfield that he was a bad teammate who simply didn’t care too much about football. However, Mayfield proved that to be false on Thursday night.

Moving forward, it will be very interesting to see whether or not Mayfield can keep this success going. Stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the NFL world.

Baker Mayfield Gets Surprising Update

Baker Mayfield has had a rough time over the past couple of years. After being replaced in Cleveland by Deshaun Watson, he was subsequently traded to the Carolina Panthers. From there, things didn’t go so well for the star as he was horrible during his time with the team.

Consequently, Mayfield was released and placed on Waivers. Eventually, he was picked up by the Los Angeles Rams, who have a plethora of injured quarterbacks. This is simply a short-term solution, and the Rams believe this could even lead to some compensation in the future.

Baker Mayfield To Play Tonight?

Mayfield has only been with the Rams for two days. This is not enough time to learn the playbook, and many believe Mayfield will not be ready to go for tonight’s game. However, according to Adam Schefter, that may not be the case. Based on John Wolford’s health, they may have no choice but to put Baker under center.

Per Schefter:

“Rams want to go through pregame warmups tonight and see how John Wolford – who is listed as questionable with a neck injury – is doing before deciding who will start at QB. If Wolford is not healthy enough to play, Baker Mayfield would be in line to start vs. the Raiders.”

Things are clearly moving very quickly for Baker for right now, which is very interesting to see. No matter what, it is clear that the Rams have some confidence in the former Browns quarterback. Otherwise, what was the point of bringing him in?

If Mayfield does play tonight, it won’t be easy as they take on the Las Vegas Raiders. Overall, the Raiders are better right now, and they are looking to feast on either Wolford or Mayfield.

Baker Mayfield Picked Up By The Rams

Yesterday, it was revealed that Baker Mayfield would be released by the Carolina Panthers. This move was kind of expected given the fact that he hasn’t been of much use to the team. They are trying to move on, and in the few games Mayfield has played, he hasn’t been good enough to keep.

Overall, it is a sad situation for Mayfield who was seen as the future of the Browns just a few years ago. Consequently, it is a sad reminder of just how fragile a career in the NFL can be. One day you’re the man, and the next day, everyone wants you gone.

Rams Pick Up Baker Mayfield

Mayfield was placed on Waivers, and subsequently, Adam Schefter reported that Mayfield will be on his way to the Los Angeles Rams. As many already know, the team needs a quarterback as Matthew Stafford and their usual backup are injured. While the Rams likely won’t make the playoffs, they at least need someone serviceable.

Per Schefter:

“They need a QB with Matthew Stafford sidelined for the season and John Wolford dealing with a neck injury. And if Mayfield signs elsewhere this off-season, the Rams could get back a compensatory draft pick.”

Overall, this is going to be a big opportunity for Mayfield, who will likely get to be their starter for the rest of the season. For now, however, it still remains to be seen whether or not he will get to play against the Las Vegas Raiders. Regardless, his fortunes have turned quite fast.

Baker Mayfield will get to play football again this year. For himself, that is all that really matters. However, he will need to improve if he wants any shot at a starting job in 2023.

Stay tuned to HNHH for more news from around the NFL world. Additionally, let us know what you think of this fit, in the comments below.
