“Once kids come into play, it ain’t the same situation,” Dave East said. “It ain’t just you coming home and we fuck. It’s never the same. It’s a big girl and little girl, I can’t just come in the spot butt-naked, out the shower, ‘Wassup baby. What we doing?’”

“When a woman gives birth, it’s a big deal,” Papoose added. “I think that as a man, you gotta understand what your woman just went through and you really gotta be patient and roll out that red carpet and you really gotta play a whole different role. I mean she just had a baby. You can’t expect her to go to the fucking club.”

Dave East has two daughters with Millie Colon, born in 2016 and 2020. Papoose has two children with his ex-girlfriend, Yvetta Lashley, who were born in 1996 and 1999. Additionally, Papoose and Remy Ma welcomed their first child back in 2018. The couple celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary, last week. “Happy ‘FIFTEENTH YEAR’ year wedding anniversary to my beautiful, smart, wife!!” Papoose wrote at the time on Instagram. “Woww We’ve laughed together, cried together, lost together, won together. Through it all we stayed ‘TOGETHER.’ Togetherness/unity is powerful! She’s the best wife a man could ask for. Make sure y’all wish her well. God is the greatest!! #15 #blacklove.”

Jim Jones Says Chrissy Lampkin Helped Him Stick To A Strict Workout Schedule

Jim Jones says that his partner, Chrissy Lampkin, has him sticking to a strict workout regimen. The legendary Dipset rapper discusses his excise routine on MadameNoir’s Listen To Black Men podcast.

“When I met Chrissy I was still a little slim and she was the one that took me to the gym and showed me a few tricks about hitting that weight and gaining some weight and things like that,” Jim said in the interview. “I definitely didn’t wanna be the slim brother with my lady looking at too many guys that was in shape, so I wanted to tighten up a little bit.” He continued: “I figured she must like me a lot if she’s trying to put me [through that]. I guess I was a good model for her.”

Despite being together for many years now, Jones and Lampkin haven’t gotten married. Lampkin explained that decision during an interview with Essence back in 2019. “To be honest with you, it’s not a priority anymore,” she said at the time. “Our relationship is in a good place. I thought that [marriage] was the natural progression, but it’s not for everybody. So, we’re good right now.” Over the years, Jones and Lampkin have starred in multiple reality series including Chrissy & Mr. Jones and Jim & Chrissy: Vow or Never. They also appeared in Season 10 of Love & Hip Hop: New York.

Elsewhere in Jim Jones’ appearance on Listen To Black Men, he discussed the healthcare system in the United States, visiting the doctor, and more. The interview comes after Jones recently met up with the Mayor of New York City, Eric Adams. The two ate food together at Jones’ mother’s house. “You know how I feel bout u if u the eat food out my mamma fridge,” the rapper wrote on Instagram. “My love for my city is deep.”
