Ja Morant Victim Tells His Story In Police Body Cam

Ja Morant’s victim has finally had their story told. The body cam footage of the 17-year-old has been released. The video shows the teenager explaining to an officer just what happened between him and Morant. According to the victim, the issue began during a pick-up game of basketball. The victim claims that Morant got in his face and struck him shortly after. After the strike, that is when the victim claims Morant and his friends just began beating him.

This isn’t the only legal issue Morant has had to battle this calendar year. Earlier this year, Morant posted a photo of himself brandishing a weapon inside an adult entertainment club. Morant made the post on his public Instagram stories. Which was quickly deleted. The Grizzlies star was soon suspended shortly after for his actions from the weapon incident. After the weapon incident, Morant did a sit-down interview with Jalen Rose. In the interview, fans saw a vulnerable Morant speak on his recent activity. Since then, Morant has stayed rather quiet in a chance to rebuild his image to the media.

Morant’s actions off the court have stirred up many to take a stance. Many believe his multiple troubles should have resulted in more action being taken by the league. Although his issues off the court are serious, Morant hasn’t dipped in his performance on the court. The Grizzlies earned the second seed in the Western Conference. The team will face the winner of the 7-8 matchup in the play-in tournament. The participants in that game will be the Los Angeles Lakers and Minnesota Timberwolves.

After the release of this footage, it seems Ja Morant has a long road ahead. While there could be more to the story. Striking a minor is never okay and shouldn’t be tolerated. The NBA will definitely look into this new information that has been dropped to the public. Consequently, Morant’s involvement in this year’s playoffs could even be in jeopardy. Cincinnati Bengals Star Recharged After New Evidence Surfaces

A Cincinnati Bengals star will now have an old issue brought to light again. Bengals running back Joe Mixon’s aggravated menacing charge will be re-opened by the city of Cincinnati Police. The incident was filed back in February of this year. As reported, Mixon allegedly held a gun to the head of a person during a road rage incident. The Cincinnati Enquirer reported that the charges were dismissed the next day so police could continue the investigation.

The alleged incident supposedly took place on January 21st of this year. According to the statement released by the Cincinnati Police, “This decision was reached following the discovery of new evidence during the investigative process. To preserve a fair and impartial judicial process for all parties involved, no investigatory details or evidence will be disclosed outside of official court proceedings.” The Cincinnati Bengals have already publicly commented on the latest news regarding Mixon and the alleged incident.

The club is aware misdemeanor charges have been raised against Joe Mixon,” the Bengals stated in a recent release. “The club is monitoring the situation and will not comment further at this time.” As news continues to release on the matter, the Bengals are still looking into the matter. This isn’t Mixon’s first time dealing with a serious legal issue. Also in college, Mixon was seen striking a woman on video. The incident caused Mixon’s draft stock to plummet. As it was released prior to the NFL running back being selected. However, the Bengals decided to take a chance on the former Oklahoma star.

Now Mixon could be facing serious repercussions if found guilty of this alleged incident. Mixon is expected to appear in court on April 19th. If found guilty of this incident, Mixon’s only troubles may not be legal issues. The NFL and the Bengals will have to review the incident for a possible suspension from the league. However, the legal ramifications far out weight what Mixon’s future playing career will look like. For the latest breaking news regarding the NFL, stay with us here at HNHH.

Kanye West’s Lawyers Use Newspaper Ads To Cut Ties With Him

While Ye’s public statements have caught him in hot water, his avoidance of legal issues mustn’t be understated. Moreover, lawyers putting out newspaper ads to rid themselves of Kanye West as a client. According to legal documents obtained by AllHipHop, lawsuits against him will continue regardless of his presence.

However, readers might think that Kanye hasn’t been all that hard to find. After all, news recently broke of his secret marriage to Yeezy architectural designer Bianca Censori. Still, this recent development represents a time in which lawyers are unable to find the rapper. Now, the Greenberg Traurig Law Firm seeks to publish advertisements of a withdrawal order in two L.A.-area newspapers. Given this “multi-prong approach,” according to the firm, they can find Kanye more easily.

“Publication of the Withdrawal Order’s contents in two Los Angeles-area newspapers, where Ye appears to reside, will also apprise him of the Withdrawal Order,” the documents stated. “Given Ye’s public status, publication of the Withdrawal Order will likely garner significant media attention, resulting in broader publication and provide an even greater likelihood of apprising Ye of the Order.”

Furthermore, Greenberg Traurig represented the Chicago artist against Ultra International Music Publishing. However, in December of last year, the New York City-based firm requested an extension to serve West as a client after dropping him. Attorneys had to serve him before a copyright infringement case against him could proceed.

Moreover, Judge Analisa Torres granted their motion to drop Ye as a client in November of last year. Also, she ordered the firm to serve him a court order firsthand by December 14th 2022. Apparently, that’s when the trouble began.

While this developed, Kanye’s ex-business manager Thomas St. John claimed he was missing. After rumors ran rampant about his location, news of his new wife broke. Still, they didn’t get a marriage license, so their union is committed, yet not legally bound. Prior to this, his divorce from Kim Kardashian finalized in November.

What do you think of Kanye West’s lawyers using newspaper ads to get to him? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments down below. Also, as always, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest on Kanye West.
